- Lisa Gade reviews the early 2021 HP ZBook Studio G7 15.6” slim and light mobile workstation with H series 45 watt CPUs and NVIDIA Quadro graphics up to the RTX 5000 Max-Q. The 3.84 lb / 1.74 kg ZBook Studio has a very attractive attractive MIL STD aluminum unibody chassis, vapor chamber cooling, Thunderbolt 3 and a variety of display options including privacy, 4K OLED and 4K Dream Color wide gamut IPS. It competes with the Lenovo ThinkPad P1, Razer Blade Studio and Advanced, 16” MacBook Pro and the Dell Precision 5550. For those who prefer NVIDIA GeForce graphics, HP offers it in the sibling ZBook Creator line.

We started getting the 17" ZBook Fury G7 and the 15" ZBook Firefly G7's a couple months back, The 15" ZBook Fury's were delayed slightly longer but are now starting to show up. Good machines so far.
The EliteBook 850 G5/G6's were good too though but the Firefly is the same price and has a GPU...big win.
I asked about this machine a few weeks ago, and ended up purchasing the 14inch model. Great workstation for cad work!
Thanks for yet another amazing video!
Hi, been looking for something for CAD. How does this run under heavy load for Auto CAD and/or Solidworks and/or Matlab?
And, if you don't mind me asking, could you tell me the configuration you'd recommend?
I can't tell you how much I love that tshirt 😂😂😂😂
Lisa has THE BEST tshirts game in town! where's her fashion prize?? :)
The speakers on this laptop is absolutely insane
Impressive review, just received one from work, so far so good - it does get very hot though when pushed but this soon dissipated and its fine now
You did a good review with great efficiency as always.
That Z logo is really cool. Great video.
I really love your reviews. I have no intention of getting a new pc in the foreseeable future but thought I'd come by for a good review.
I can't help realizing there are many vehicle models that should follow the design and simplicity of this Iaptop PC. It's well organized for general uses.
MOST GENUINE TECH REVIEWS
Like the design, that logo is a bit of an eyesore. A Ryzen version would make this perfection!
Lisa....between this one and spectre 360 14" 2TB ....which one do you choose personally since the gap is $400?....i do only light youtube editing
I'm here for t-shirt.. Where i can buy those 😓.. Im asking in every video
Great review as always. The laptop should have an AMD CPU to be more interesting.
AMD 5800H should be in it.
Always great product review, ) great
How did you know that Bob was my uncle? 🤣 9:09.
That Z logo somewhat resembles the Nissan Z logo.
It also looks like emperor zurgs Logo from toy story
HP Z, DELL XPS, MICROSOFT SURFACE PRO and MAC BOOK PRO 💟☮️
Good to know you can choose Ubuntu as OS.
Additional SSD Slot is not there is too bad.
Lisa! You Rock!
I wish HP got with the times and gave us 1920x1200.
is it possible to connect 3 4K screens (60 HZ) on the Ubuntu version of this machine?
Is Nvidia quadro T1000 max q good enough for rendering?
Which is best Dell latitude or HP ZBOOK Firefly
Wow, a video that is 11 minutes 30 seconds. Just like the 13% Harmonized Sales Tax on $10 in Ontario, Canada.
Thank you, I DO have too much time on my hand.
No x360 version of this laptop?
Thanks 👍 😊
Is the keyboard impervious to red wine? I'm on my 3rd keyboard on my HP Zbook 17 G2 due to this major design flaw. And because Rip-Off-Britian keyboards are 3 times the price of US keyboards I've put a US one in, so now every time I want to do the £ sign I have to go to WIKI and copy paste one. It's great for CAD & design work, but I'm looking into getting a proper HP workstation now, I find laptops are too easily damaged, not very upgradable (graphics cards esp), always seem to be buzzing away trying to cool down and I'd like to pop several hard disks in for backing up etc.
360p?
Really, soldered Ram on a workstation???
This is why HP is a Horrible Product. Just love watching a reviews and I aint buying HP laptop ever other than I accidentally bought a HP laptop rebadged as Compaq back in 2010. It suck in my experience
thank you very nice
i need lap top hp studio g 7
Lisa almost always tells us pricing, but not here. How much is the one she is reviewing? Thank you
i need lap top hp z book studio g 7 core i 7
Giant cooling solutions and giant, heavy batteries. No wonder Apple kicked Intel out the door.
Where is the ethernet port?
Whaaa, barrel plug. In 2021
Good review
Nice
Does this come in at 13 or 14 inch?
no, apparently not
The zbook firefly does have a 14 inch version, though
Good review (as always), but boring product. The vapor chamber, SD card reader, and decent speakers aren't enough to make this a compelling option in 2021. The stylish "Z" logo can't compensate for the Intel and soldered 2666MHz RAM on the inside.
Whys it only in 360p??
Always first minutes after upload.
processing
For elite people.
whats with the 360p video upload
Probably HD processing is yet complete.
Always first minutes after upload.
@@luxembourger Well it's been an hour and i still see it in 360p :( Feelsbadman
@@TheAETHER22 Strange, that took long then this time for processing.
I appreciate the review, but for a device released in August 2020 it's already on it's way out. In my opinion, HP really didn't stand up to the Precision 5550 this round (GPU options not withstanding).
I wish you can gift this laptop in half price to me.
Looks great.
Intel and 16x9 ratio display, no thanks!
It remains us only to wait Ryzen 5000 with 16:10
This seems like a downgrade from my G5.
Nice t shirt 😂😂
,😆
AMD option = 0
Love from Bangladesh.
I love you madam 🥰🥰🥰😍😍
Some of these laptop's insides are so ugly.
