Lola Bovet I saw the exact same comment on one Ro’s videos and somebody replied saying Ro lives in LA(don’t remember where she lives) and The icing artist lives in Canada
I love watching your vids. I’m a teen entrepreneur making custom cakes and I can’t tell you enough how much you’re going to improve my baking. I cannot thank you enough for how much you’ve taught me. My dream is to have a bake shop, and with your vids I know I can accomplish that goal. You’re so, SO good at what you do and I’d be happy just to be half as good. 🙃
This is exactly what I need. I have a number of colours of leftover buttercream. Your tips and tricks for using different nozzles will help me to create some beautiful and fun cupcakes for morning tea at church this Sunday.
I love the marbling ideas. I confess I DO use Ziploc instead of piping BUT I don't use sandwich thickness which is what you showed. If you use the Freezer bags, they don't burst at the seams. Not sure if they'll work as good for a professional but for amateurs it works pretty well and no cleaning at the end. Cool thing is you can make your own "tips" by not using a couple and just cutting the plastic. I got some cool lion manes doing that. I tried marbling with quart size freezers feeding into a gallon size freezer that had the tip. It worked but was more two-tone and not marbled. Thanks for sharing the tips can't wait to try the saran wrap one, that looked pretty cool.
I love the pretty colors you chose in preparing the buttercream frosting (yum! which is SO delicious). The various colors that you lined up, rolled in saran wrap (such a great idea!), with the applicator, frosting the cupcakes with the pretty pastel rainbow mix looked amazing. You help to make this look simple and fun. Thanks for sharing this!
In the MANY videos I've watched (my daughter and I have been subscribed for YEARS lol) your accent is most pronounced in this one! My Grandbaby toddling around mimicking you...God it's ADORABLE! Thanks!
This just came up as a suggestion and I was transfixed.Disabled and in pain I cant sleep and your video was one of the most soothing absorbing things I have ever seen.I love rainbows and the mixed piping effects were mind blowing.Wish I was this artistic.YOU HAVE A NEW SUBSCRIBER!!!🌈💜🧁🧁🧁💜
You are not pressing down on the cupcake when you are piping so you are just bringing tip just to the surface of it and you are just lightly holding the cupcakes with the tips of your fingers so no pressure on them at all. Hope this helps.
Now THAT’s for people who go through A LOT of food coloring!!! I am new to caking, Just finished Course Two of Wilton’s Decirating Basics classes- making cakes and cupcakes for the people I love, and even had my first commissioned and paid-for birthday cake!!! Thank you for your lovely video. I subbed and look forward to seeing more!!
Genius, this is the best video I've seen so far. Anything that cuts corners, and shows a cheaper way of doing things has gotta win from me. I went shopping and almost bought the bag the Separates the Icening. It would cost me $25. God bless you and thanks for the video.
Me: hasn’t baked in years, doesn’t have any equipment to decorate even if I did bake. Also me: analyzing hand movement and copying them “yess Queen show me that technique!”
I'm addicted to your videos. It's been two days I'm not getting over it.. your cakes, ideas, decoration, piping techniques.. everything is so honest and real. And that smile is beautiful.. so are you. Good luck.. love from India... ❤️💕
You made my day!! I have been wanting to find some cool tips and tricks on how to ice cupcakes. You were smiling so much I had to subscribe to you!! Thank you for the awesome video and your heartwarming smile!! ☺️
Thank you! I want to do some princess cupcakes for my niece and i love the swirl look but you explained how and you explained it perfectly! Love your videos.
Something I see super often is waaaay too much frosting on cakes and cupcakes. However, you didn't do that at all! Thank you for the reasonable proportions! :D They look delicious and beautiful!
I am 68, and just had the interest to cake decorate, I enjoy watching you and teaching method. BTW...your nails are gorgeous and you are a beautiful young woman.
Love the new cinematography! The lighting and color palette is really fresh and happy, and makes me think of springtime during fall. You look super cute Laurie! Happy fall!
You will be a terrific mom. This channel is so comforting, and I could give less of a shit about cake. This channel is hitting bc of you. Nobody likes cake this much but you
This is the most helpful video I’ve ever seen! You show how we can do it at home ourselves with our frosting. Thank you so very much! 🏆 Most videos are pro icing and it doesn’t work the same at home. ❤️U
So glad to see you back in the game again. when you were making the yellow flowers which way was the skinny part and which way was the fat are part of the? Thank you for coming back and sharing and keep on caking.

Loving your videos! I am sure this has been answered somewhere but I didn't see it - what is your go-to buttercream recipe? As I'm learning, the consistency of my buttercream has not always lent itself to the particular tips I'm trying to use.
You could use the tip with the millions of grooves and make a cactus with those little pearlescent beads you were talking about The pink ones could represent flowers

I have one question for you. Just one. How do you get it smooth without tearing the cupcake up??!
Please bring this to the top. I need to know

Don't let the spatula touch the cake. If it does it gets stuck to the leftover frosting on the spatula and tears the cake.
Now THAT’s for people who go through A LOT of food coloring!!!
