Every year, at Asakuso demonstration, there is a great show of classic martial arts. This year i saw a elegant choice of techniques, performed with the usual high level. Thank you to Sensei Kondo, Sensei Shizuo. I don't know the surname of Sensei Mark, but i appreciated his "japan" gravity some years ago in Italy stage of Daitoryu Aikijujutsu, with the great Master K. Kondo.
In order for many of the Akido throws to work, the Uke has to throw himself. In other words, he has to "get ahead of the techniques" in order to not get hurt. This is the reason he throws himself before locks are put on him that could hurt him, or cause injuries. That's why it looks too easy.
@@Qunyc1985 Them?? You have beaten all of them??? Who is "them"? You have beaten all Aikido practicioners in the world?..Whom do You mean with "We"? Do you have some kind of split personality??
"Getting ahead of the technique", anticipating what uke thinks will happen, actually hurts way more and it's very dangerous. Accidents are more likely to occur if uke anticipates
AIKI JUJUTSU IS JUJUTSU WITH AIKI ELEMENT OR PRINCIPLE ADDED WHILE EXECUTING TECHNIQUE. SO WHAT IS AIKI. AIKI IS A CONCEPT WHEN YOU ARE ONE WITH THE OPPONENT. YOU CAN ONLY FEEL HOW IT IS BUT IT IS NOT DISCRIBABLE. IN THIS DEMOSTRATION THERE ARE NO AIKI BEING SHOWN ONLY JUJUTSU. IF YOU WANT TO SE AIKI EFFECTS, SEARCH FOR OKAMOTO SENSEI OF ROPPOKAI
I am so grateful to the Takeda family for persevering through the Meiji restoration and keeping this beautiful and incredible art alive.

I think you are referring to Marc Trudel, 3rd Dan, from the Shimbukan Dojo.
Practice, practice, Practice to make it look so simple and beautifull, thankyou for sharing
Thank you very much.

Landing on wood floor. Ouch!
That's great!
All the break falls on hardwood.
The free hand could strike, and with a weapon
What is the difference between Daito Ryu and other jujutsu styles?
In old school jujuts, every school was completely unique, even though they both migth be called "jujutsu" often they weren't very similar at all.
I don't know, ask Takeda ShinGen
