    Sea cucumbers is actually delicious guys... You can make a good soup of it.. Taste like delicious Jelly

    Question: What's the purpose of sprinkling salt and then covering it with a basin pan then afterwards slide shaking it ? I might think its the effective way of flavoring the sea cucumber or to kill the bacteria in it. Cheers 👻

      Weixu Zhang The salt will pull water from the cucumber and it will break down the mucous lining as well as any surface bacteria. Thats what all that gunk was.

      There's still crap inside a sea cucumber. It needs to be cleaned and they use salt to do it. They eat coral and there's also sand inside them. Doesn't seem to be too appetizing to get a plate and its full of hard shell and sea sand now does it?
