Miss training with you as well. Considering an event later this year in the CLT area. Will let you know. Several things to juggle.

Nice... I understand what you mean about relaxing the muscles in your upper body. I saw a video with Mr. Vladimir talking about walking... and in it he said something to the effect of, "Walk with your legs and not your body." - So today when I walked I relaxed my upper body after paying attention that I am walking but using a lot of stress ( not usually noticeable) to hold up my posture.
So, relaxing the upper torso, I felt a LOT of weight on my hip going down to my legs. I never ever felt walking with my legs so much than today. At the same time, I noticed you do feel more heavier and I also tried practicing a drill from Cutting Edge Systema video about transferring weight when you walk. - Of course, I used sufficient breathing throughout the process.

Thank you for sharing. As you are learning it is hard to describe in words and takes work, patience and awareness. Sounds like you are doing well on all fronts.

    Just wanted to add...
We tend to carry a lot of tension in day to day activities. The breathing drills really make you aware of this. Like I never knew that I used to hold my shoulder muscle up, and kind of kept it tensed up, when I walk or just in general, I mean felt so normal, until I felt more at ease after I let go of this tension and just relaxed it.
I love the idea of breathing oxygen into the muscles and groups of muscles... It really is like when Prophet Adam (Peace be upon him) was given The Soul. This is how I imagine breathing in and out to be... Breath in to breath in the life you are given, and breathe out as if the Soul is leaving each muscle and organ. So this is what brings about a sort of dead weight feel and heaviness.
When you relax, you definitely have more strength in strikes as well... like when you sleep, you are relaxed and if anyone tried to roll you over or move you... it's a mission. When my 7 year old son falls asleep on the bed or in the car... it's a mission to move him LoL. - I hope I'm on the right track.

Thank you for sharing. I think you are on the right track. I have been shooting new video but in a new location with different equipment. Nothing good yet, but think we have made progress. Hope to have new videos up very soon.
