On my seat ibiza, when I press the lock button once, everything locks except the front right one, but there are times when it locks, could it be an electrical fault?
Hi There, this could be a lot of things, but I would probably start with the lock mechanism. Intermittent faults are more difficult to fault find, but If its only that door then I would suspect motor. Depending how you feel you could strip it and clean / check or just replace, however if you use original part you know it is the correct one. I suspect the passenger one I fitted is my issue, but found too much info on part numbers, so could not be sure which was original on mine, they tend to be on a lot of cars, with subtle differences. Hi There, No I have just lived with it as life busy at the moment. If yours worked ok, then started to do this, then I would be tempted to remove mechanism, strip and clean then try again, please let me know if this works for you, why not make a video?
