I love my Savannah rod. I mainly fish bass jigs, worms, and my most used is Carolina rig. I finished a Loomis GLX once and was ruined from that point on over how sensitive that rod was but I can't afford $500 on a rod that I honestly don't think is as strong as my Cajun Custom. So when I went searching for a Carolina riging rod it was sensitivity that I was mostly looking for and was willing to spend $250 or $300 at most but didn't want to. After a year of research, talking with several custom builders, and reading reviews I found Cajun Custom and because I seen a video where someone could feel the words on a smooth printed business card while holding a Cajun customs rod I give them a call. the amount of knowledge the girl on the phone with me had was impressive. she told me what right I made it at took her workforce to send it to the house and I've loved it ever since. I've caught several fish on it and it's my favorite rod. my Shimano crucials are nice and I have the first and second gen crucials and they are hard to beat at the price but this Savannah tops them on several different aspects. where else will you find a rod that made in America with custom-built quality plus they make their own blanks? that's the question there's only one answer too and the reason I bought Cajun. plus they still offer a lifetime warranty that I doubt I actually or honestly need because if it breaks it's probably owner error but I bet Cajun will still work out something to get a rod back in your hand and on the water ether way. I will be buying more when I get the cash up. I think I'll try a black bayou next because I want a 7.6 foot rod. plus there's an actual bayou called black bayou a few miles from my house in Louisiana so it just seems right!

I bought the CD 873-2S a year or so ago for a 2500 reel, and have been very pleased. It showed some real backbone on a hard fighting Jack. I thought sure he was gonna break that rod, but he never did. Sold me right there! Got me a new reel for Christmas, and I'll be getting another Cajun real soon.

Theses rod are the best. Plenty of back bone and they give me the confidence to set the hook as hard as I need .
