Regarding the older Glocks, I have a Glock 17 with no optic mount, but it does have a rail. I got an Olight Baldr Pro R for it. 1350 lumens and a green laser. I'm quite happy with it.
As a power lineman we had to use plastic cased lights. Streamlight has aa wide array of high quality lights. Our hardhat lights from streamlight were amazing.
One brand I've been really into recently is Wurkkos. The HD01 seems to check a lot of boxes for me. Although I have also pulled out my Nitecore Smart PD EX10 for fun, even though it's out dated tech, that moonlight mode comes in handy.
I have lights from Streamlight, Surefire, Fenix, olight, etc but I’ve recently become a huge fan of Wurkkos. Made in China like most of the above and most of them ship from China to your door, but extremely reasonably priced and very high quality. I’m not going to say they’re at the same level as the big names but I’d give them 80-90% of the quality at half the price.
I got a lot of Wurkoos and Sofirn lights lately Fantastic lights for the price lol I bought a lot of models and the short body tubes. I even got short body tubes for the 21700 flashlights 🤩
When you consider a weapon light. Wherever you point your light, you point your firearm. I dont think a weapon light is a good idea, as convenient as they are.
This Christmas (post hurricane Hellene) I am giving the gifts of O-Lights and Fire starting / tinder box gear! So its an emergency light & fire theme. They may think I am wierd, until the SHTF! Just saying!....
I recently re-watched the newest Batman movie. In the movie, the bad guys stare at the pitch black areas of Gotham wandering if the Batman lurks there. I thought about you, and how someone should just turn on a flashlight.
I disagree with the premise. A high quality EDC can cover 100% of what most people need. Now, could you use more specialized lights? Of course. It's the difference between a good quality toolkit and a professional toolbox full of Snap-On and job specific tooling. One works for most people, but if you have the money and inclination, the other is obviously better. Difference between wants and needs
That's like saying it work 80%, 90% of the time when you say it will work for "most" instead of all. A man is only as good as his options and I've been in situations where I've needed different lighting for different tasks, just recent I could have used a diffused light vs the ones I had on me. Also I always follow the one is none two is one rule. When you have family plan on the people around you to not be prepared.

Great light! I have the same one on a S&W duty pistol.

Do those tube extensions make the lights brighter or make the battery life last longer? I’m curious…
The marauder mini and senior haha the spot is led not lep. They do have a bit of spill but it's the best of both worlds
My edc is the nitecore edc27 it's getting old but still works great one day I'll upgrade to the edc29.
Also I carry the olight oclip pro

Thanks for Europe related things.
If Batman sees you in the dark, then a beacon makes it easier for Batman
It’s not just a signal….its a warning
I need a light for my ranch down here on the border with an extremely powerful throw and long run time , what would you recommend ?
I went down flashlight rabbit hole
And it’s bad😂
In a good way 😊
You simply cannot have too many flashlights 🔦 or knives or firearms or ways to light a fire 🔥😎👍 thank you for justifying my addiction. 😂
The reason you need multiple lights…………so O-Light keep sponsoring you
No powertac lights..

I agree but please don’t share this with the wife 😂
I'd bet the next one will be about fire and fire tools.
