I encourage anyone who tried making sourdough bread but ctouldn't get your starter right, or any other issues, to follow Elizabeth's starter tutorial and recipes. Just make sure you have a scale and I promise, your loaves will come out perfect. I don't even want to think of the pounds of flour I wasted trying to make it prior to finding Elizabeth's page. The egg bites are delish and so handy to have on hand during this busy time of year. And my mouth watered looking at the roasted veg and quinoa salad! TY Elizabeth for always sharing healthy recipes and including recipes that have protein! And if you have time, I think we'd all love the rye sourdough recipe. Less gluten? I'm in!!
Funny story: we have a big compost pile but no garden. Some years we have gotten a squash plant produce dozens of squashes! This year we got 35 spaghetti squash from one rogue plant in our compost pile! One year it was dozens of butternut squash.
Hey Elizabeth! I made that quinoa salad today and I was surprised at how good it was!! Definitely making it again!! I love that you include a lot of veggies in your recipes often!
love love loveeee your videos! I'm also a SAHM with a 1 and 2 year old and plan to homeschool. Would you be able to do a DITL of homeschooling? Would love to see your flow! Thank you for your amazing recipes :)
Wow I made your roasted winter vegetable quinoa and it was sooo delicious. We had warm and cold the day after and both ways were delicious. Will definitely be making this over and over!! Love your channel.
All of the recipes look so appealing. I have made your sourdough (I recommend it to other people) and your Kale Quinoa Fall Salad is delicious. I have made it numerous times already. Looking forward to trying these recipes. Yum!
Definitely will try the warm root vegetable salad & I have a small head of cabbage that's now begging to be used in that soup. I pray your family feels better soon. 🙏 ❤
That’s great, it gets even better if you let it sit a night in the fridge then reheat on the stove or slow cooker next day. Thank you for your blessings!! 🙏🏼❤️
I got my son a Breville Smart oven pro, and got him watching your videos to see how to use it. I got him a Staub 4qt Dutch oven to use in it, like yours and mine. But not sure what size regular loaf pan you can put in there. I just have the smart oven not the pro and seems to be a lot smaller. I made the Hawaiian meatballs, and he is going to make those too. They are so good. He is going to do the sheet pan chicken like you and I do which is amazing. So you have a young chef in the making watching you. ❤️
Thank you so much!! I use a lot of cast iron from smithey, they are smooth cast iron and completely different than other brands. I love the chef skillets because they are lighter weight! I’ll link mine here: shopmy.us/collections/1003805
I have been wanting to try wild grain! As a nutritionist and someone who tries to eat as clean as possible, what is your opinion on canola oil used in some of their bread products? I hear so much about seed oils, where does canola fall?
Elizabeth, I just found your channel recently and I love watching your videos so much! I wanted to ask you though do you, with all of your amazing cooking, follow any type of eating plan such as counting macros or anything like that? I’ve started scratch cooking this past year but feel I need to follow something to keep myself accountable and balanced abs just wondered if you did, if you had a recommendation 😊
I resonate with your comment so much! Scratch cooking can be really rich! I don’t follow any meal plan or count anything, but real balance is my tool. I try to do a good balance of whole food meals: protein, veggie, fats, and a smaller amount of a carb like brown rice or potatoes etc. It usually looks like a whole food breakfast, really clean lunch, and a richer, family-friendly dinner 💚
Would a combination of sweet potatoes & white potatoes work in the cabbage soup? We LOVE our sweet potatoes, but I want to be sure they’ll work in this recipe. Can’t wait to try this!
Elizabeth, I really enjoy your videos. I see that you are lately using that oil spray. Is it something you can recommend? I have tried some and was not happy. They clogged up super fast. I like it simple and easy. Would appreciate your recommendation.
@@healthyelizabeth Thank you so much for sharing it. Please keep making more videos. I am very passionate about health and wellness. I absolutely love how diverse and healthy your meals are while using simple ingredients.
Please give this week's video a like if you want more of these videos ☺🙏 Recipes are linked in the description box.

I really enjoyed your “plant based” recipes because that’s how my family eats!
That’s so great to hear! I will share more of those then!

I am so excited to try the quinoa salad, egg bites and the cabbage soup! You really spoke to me on this video, thank you!!
Thank you so much, I'm so happy to hear that!!🙏🏼
Love the video! I'm looking forward to the rye bread recipe, something I would love to bake. The soup is on my list too.
Thank you! It’s coming soon! They are a perfect match 😋
Great recipes! I will be making that cabage and potato soup. It looks just perfect for this season.
The salad looks so good! I think I will add some tahini to the dressing😊
Good idea I may try that too
I bet tahini would be absolutely delicious!
I just made the broccoli cheddar soup for lunch. Hubby and I love it! Thanks for the recipe.
I’m so glad you and your hubby loved it! You’re on it! 😊

Oh, how exciting! That’s such a great gift to give him, and I'm sure he'll love it!! ❤️
@ He used my crust recipe and put in there. Totally rocked it. So he made another. He is enjoying both!
That is awesome!! So wonderful ❤️
Just signed up for Wild Grain. Can’t wait to see how it is!
That’s awesome! I hope you love it!!
Thanks for reminding me that I love quinoa salad, but haven't made it in a while 😊 Really enjoying your videos lately, keep them coming
It's a reminder for me too! Yay, that makes me really happy!😊
I hope to make the soups. It's cold here in Michigan and we can definitely enjoy your soups recipes. TY
Oh yes, stay as warm as you can. I always tell myself I’m going to make less soup but then the winter sets in and it’s all I want to make haha.
@healthyelizabeth me too. Love soups.
Love your videos. They are beautiful and inspiring
That means a lot to me, thank you! I'm happy you are enjoying. 💛
i love all your videos ❤ may you please give me a pot and pan cookware reccomendation you use please?

Sweet potatoes would definitely work!! Just don’t cook them quite as long so the texture holds up. Now I need to try it that way 😋

Thank you so much! I use my oil sprayer multiple times a day and truly haven’t had one issue with it! This is my exact one: amzn.to/3ZUZ84X

Not sure if you will see this but can I make the rye bread in the Dutch oven like your regular sourdough bread?
