Good video. Some of mine I "keep" in capsules, "stored" in a safe. Circulated and vintage.. straight to tubes or kep in bags. Very special pieces get capsules for sure. I learned by selling some to a bullion dealer, that they scrutinize each piece very carefully for scratches and dings. Sometimes you just have to touch and hold the silver.

Most coins and rounds that i buy go into caps except when i have bought tubes of generic silver. Over here depending in where i buy a lot of coins come in caps already. I also grabbed a heap of different sized caps in lots of ten so have them on hand. I guess it wont matter if i ever sell back to a dealer but if selling or trading privately i think it makes sense.

"To Capsule, Or Not To Capsule? THAT Is The Question!". Very Well Asked ;-)
Here's my view. If you have nice ASEs, no dings, no scratches, nothing....they ALWAYS fetch more than the dinged ones. If you leave them in tubes and you open the tubes every now and then, you will invariably scratch and ding the coins. So it's a catch 22. Either you capsule and keep the absolute maximum value of your coin, or you don't and risk losing value because of wear.
Hmmm? As for special pieces, (sentimental value, collectors, numis etc) yes of course you put them in capsules. But will you recoup the cost of the capsules on the regular ASEs? Stay Safe. Cheers

I try to protect all my gold coins. I don’t want my 24 karat Gold Buffalo getting a ding. Some fractional gold is so small that capsules make them easier to handle. Also any special silver coin. 90% silver needs tubes for organization. Libertads for me are special.

My stack? Tubes. One eaches for my stackolection? Capsules. Exception: if it fits, I put all of my 10 oz bars in capsules.

My favorite is to fill tubes full of capsuled coins and rounds. I've been collecting for a year and a half and I find that the capsules retard toning. Things I want to keep shiny as possible I definitely capsule. You have some amazing pieces there. Paul🏒Coffey & Hard🎸Rock!
