There is a narrow gauge Mastadon still working on the Mary Valley Heritage Railway in Gympie QLD, Australia. They have at least 2, I believe they are both Baldwins. They run to the town of Imbil and turntable the engine for the trip back, the tt was 150 feet from my front door and watched it turn every trip, that never got old. I even volunteered there.
Another steamer for you to consider....Great Northern's "N" class 2-8-8-0's. These were the iron ore prime movers for GN on the Mesabi Iron Range in MN and roamed Great Northern's mainline for more than 4 decades.
Also add the N&W,had one of its M2's,numbered 480,so the road number was the same as the Wheel Arrangement! Another addition to operators of 4-8-0's,was the New York Central,and they were found in the Adirondack Mountains,far from the Water Level side of the Mainline

You can see this engine in operation during the season on Virtual railfan cam at Strasburg pulling coaches. They also have the Thomas steam engine working there. Nice video.
I wasn’t aware virtual rail fan showed Strausburg. That’s cool.

Would have liked to have heard what changes in layout this arrangement required. For instance, N&W has no cab deck after the firebox and has the engineer squeezed into a cubbyhole next to the firebox, to give the maximum room for the firebox; you shovel coal into the firebox while standing on the tender deck.
