The foreshadowing when prof responds to "You're a nice guy" by just repeating "I'll allow it." He knew what he was going to do.

I’d say it’s more that the prof “allowed it” as in, he didn’t mention if it was nice or brutal. Foreshadowing would have been if he said: “I’ll allow it but don’t come crying to me afterwards” but still then it’s not really foreshadowing but more a threat

@@arctrog The quotes were because there are stages of 'grief', 'anger', etc. and some of them cross boundaries; 'anger' might be one of the stages of 'grief' for instance
The quotes are because I'm referring to it more as a concept, an idea, than as actual stages of grief or anything

I love how the Profs silliness, genuine calmness and articulated softspokenness contributes to him being unassuming to the extent of people completely underestimating his threat. He reminds me of Skyrims Cicero in a way;)

On Prof's turn he said something to the effect of "I'm armed, if anyone comes after me, I will take them out" then proceeds to merc Feather multiple times despite Kyle never swinging at him.
Yeah Kyle was targeted pretty harsh throughout the game tbh 😅
@@kevinjooss9348 In all fairness, if people do not target Feather immediately and constantly, she will get out of hand the very instant you find a targeting cantrip.
It's the main reason I don't really use my own Feather deck anymore. Either my opponents don't realize this or don't have the proper interaction in hand to deal with her, and it turns into a non-game for all of them, or they DO take out Feather at every opportunity and I spend every other turn just re-casting her and it turns into a non-game for me.

@@Dark-Pikachu1 That deck has 9 targeting 1-2 mana spells that draw a card, and some more that scry. If Kyle had been a tiny bit luckier and had access to any of those drawing spells at first, he would have drawn so many cards and probably very quickly found one or more of the various protection spells (he did have Dawn Charm and Gods Willing already), making Feather practically impossible to deal with. He didn't even really go off and you can already see all the times he protected Feather from Voxy.
It sucks that he didn't get a chance to let the deck do its thing for a turn cycle or two, but if he did, the game would've ended a lot sooner and more decisively. It was very smart of the table to focus Feather, and it still just barely worked as you can see that Expedite coming in just a little too late.

Did this to my wife. Was genuinely admiring her mana ramp and was like "damn, you can already cast your commander" then realized I had a murder spell in my hand and would be obligated to kill it. I wanted to warn her, but I wanted to kill her commander more. I deserve divorce 😅

played against my first Feather deck a week ago, you really got to kill the hell out of her till tax your opponent out. Otherwise she's pretty brutal.
As long as it's Voltron Feather deck. Other Feather decks are just fun. Please let people play Feather without being targeted like crazy if it's not a Voltron deck. My friend has a non-Voltron version and it's a fun deck for everyone playing

Poor Kyle, man, he couldn't catch a break this game. From starting off with having to know the cards because half of them were in German to being devastated in moments like this repeatedly.
Hopefully, he had fun. It was a very interesting match and the victor was unexpected, to say the least.
I really didn't like this part at all. I know a lot of people were laughing like crazy, I just felt pitty for Kyle and was a little shocked how mean the prof can be.
But I guess I am in the minority and the "unfun" guy here.

I don't understand this confusion here. Feather is an answer it or lose the game commander. Resilient as hell, easy draw, and it's in boros, the pairing that probably has the most Battle Tricks and ways to copy them amongst your creatures. I'd rather fight an entire Nekusar Burn deck than just a cracked Feather opening hand.
Plus, he didn't account for someone having a response and removing Feather from the board anyways. His own b, ngl.

Professor being a savage while being the nicest. Love it.
This is why my playgroup usually have a "turn trinket" an object we pass along when our turn is over, so even if we say pass or turn. It can be counted invalid as long as we still havent passed the trinket, just incase we notice a thing we might still be able to do.
If you make a mistake and mention it after you pass you never trust someone when they say "go ahead". They are always set up to take advantage of it lmao

@vileluca My Feather runs almost every card that says whenever you cast a spell, damage your opponents. Feather runs better as a slightly more aggressive spell slinger.
