As a family having been bought up with dogs and having no fear, it's really difficult seeing Rohan so hesitant with Friday. But I think we need to realise that our dogs way of communication, for those not aware or familiar with dogs in general are going to be weary and worried. So glad Rohan got his new best friend and loves Mitshi for the excitable and loving puppy she is. And I hope to coming years will be reflected as the year they bought Mitshi home and not the year mum and dad were so poorly he worried they would die ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for sharing that intense COVID experience. I love this little boy and this story. Mishti is an awesome name and she is a very lucky puppy. Personally, I would have recommended an older dog, as they were clearly NOT an experienced dog family, but my goodness what sweet, kind, caring people this family is. The little boy has immense emotional intelligence and I am so glad to see a happy ending for them all. This is my 2nd video from this channel. What a beautiful place to meet puppers. Channel 4 has perfected the art of reality-based programs. Amazing. ❤❤❤🎉❤❤❤
It's a joy so see how much more confident he is at the end, well done team, the match wasn't as obvious as it sometimes is but the conclusion showed that you all made the right decision, as always!
Any dog would have freaked out this child. This was a pretty clam puppy - this child just needed time and some experience. Look at him now, this is an active boy who needed an active dog.
Terriers are the most yappy, mischievous etc maybe not the best fit for a first dog and nervous owner. However, they are fab in the end ❤ always had terriers
Someone should have told him the barking and the dipping her front body downward is and invitation to play not an aggressive act. Why didn’t anyone tell him that?
Instead of giving them a puppy that’s too badly and too much then give them an older dog since older dogs are the ones that get left behind and need new lives
The minute the child screamed I'd go and collect the puppy. It's too risky, a few months down the line the dog gets taken back because the child is afraid of it. An older, child savvy dog who is steady would have been a better choice than a hyper puppy and a scared child.
To be honest, I am bloody angry with the parents who allowed their child no contact with dogs and made him into a child who is terrified of a little baby dog. *Why* would he think that the puppy was about to bite him? Have they told him not to touch dogs because they might bite?
Actually the family have coped really well. I follow them on Instagram and not only do they still have Mishti but they also now have a Miniature Schnauzer. They are a lovely family.
1 Some children are just naturally very anxious, especially in new situations or around animals. 2 He watched both of his parents nearly die (or at least he thought they were going to die). That could give anyone, child or adult severe anxiety!

What a wonderful family. The kid is beautiful. So kind.
Oh bless... What an awful year. So glad Rohan made friends with Mishti and now they are one big happy family ❤️🇮🇹
Lovely family and what an incredibly sweet boy, God bless them ❤❤❤❤❤
This programme is a joy to watch. The stories the people and the dogs and staff are amazing. A gem

I’m so glad this worked out, he is the sweetest kid.
he is a sweet little boy and the pup will love him forever
What a sweet son:)
Such a sweet boy I think they need to let him grow up a bit xx
Really sweet family.
Well done Mum & Dad, Rohan & Mishti. Lovely story.
As an adoption counsellor I would have offered them a calm adult.

Rohan is absolutely adorable 💛

I was thinking the same thing
As a concept, brilliantly unselfish tv.

I have the same breed and follow this dog/person on instagram. They are the best breed of dog you could ever want or need
Nice Video stay connected
My ex-wife is controlling my accounts and I can't do anything in my phone so my next step is to go to the police.
@@williamruiz6333SCAMMER!
Why on earth did they give him a terrier puppy? That kid needed a golden retriever.
Terriers aren’t really a good pet for first time owners as an owner of two patterdales I can tell yous that dog isn’t a good match
Couldn’t agree more have a patterjack and she’s still the same hyperactive age at age 7

I just do not think this was the dog for the boy. He could have looked at others.
Nice kid. However, not confident enough to have a dog at this time. The dog is going to feed off of his anxiety and be a very anxious dog.
Actually the family have coped really well. I follow them on Instagram and not only do they still have Mishti but they also now have a Miniature Schnauzer. They are a lovely family.
Look l understand but l think mu mommy and daddy needs to let the boy grow up without " mothering him too much ".
Why is the kid so timid
Because he's a kid and he's never had a dog before and the puppy is hyper. It's normal
Some kids are super anxious by nature but these parents could be making this worse by trying to over comfort him

If the staff would stop the baby talk and over the top gushing, I'd watch it.
