  • Join us as we search for reptiles and amphibians in Kern County California. We find lots of Gilbert's Skinks, Southern Alligator Lizards, and Western Fence Lizards. Plus an awesome Western Rattlesnake and Sidewinder show up while road cruising after dark.

Awesome variety of lizards! Some amazing country in Kern County. I've always wanted to see the home turf of the golden trout.

Just looked up the golden trout. Looks like a really cool fish. I'll have to keep my eye out next time I'm in that area.

Sorry, I've been sworn to secrecy about that spot. There's so much beauty in California, that I'm sure your kids will love any National Forest or State Park you take them too.
