- Gotham Series had been shy showing us the real hero the city needed. But now, as the show has concluded, we can look back and remember all the times the show had been generous enough to show the glimpses of the hero we always wanted to see.

I actually like the way they pictured Batman as a dark, mysterious, unseen hero type shit.. in Batman movies we usually view batman from his perspective.. but this series, view Batman from another person perspective.. like if we actually have batman in the real world.. that's how we would feel about him

This is what Batman should be like, an unseen figure, a being who resides in the shadows, a man of little words. Someone who installs hope into the people, but strikes fear into the hearts of criminals. Just his image of leaping across rooftops sends two of the biggest crime bosses in the city running scared.

@@ryanschmidt58 Not true because DBZ is known to have all sorts of weird magic and stuff. People don’t usually just come back to life in live action hero shows. I’ve never watched Gotham so I’m not sure how they come back but I am sure it’s abnormal pertaining to hero shows.
So weird that Batman only appeared in 2 episodes like he appeared as an unseen figure in the dream and finally makes a full appearance at the end of the series.
Because hes not supposed to be there in the first place, its a lazy way of ending the series with fan service

The batman scenes looked so good until they showed the suit. It doesn’t look awful for a level 0 batsuit but still... it’s not a very good suit
While true. This was a weekly TV show not a big Budget Movie that had already been cancelled at this point. They most likely could not afford the type of outfits we get in movies.

I would love a sequel serries to Gotham seeing the villains reacting to Batman as riddler try’s to uncover Bruce’s identity and the actors would all be the age they were in the pilot so it’s possible
The pilot was first broadcast in 2014. I doubt the actors are the same age as in the pilot.
It is possible that he was supposed to appear more in the series but Batman only appears on rooftops and in the shadows and I want Batman to be fully introduced to The TV series Gotham.

I have this silly imagination where Bruce and Batman are separate people. Let me explain it. Batman is not human, he's just, well, Batman. he's literally a bat but with the suit, he lacks any emotions and tends to destroy things that get in his way. The only reason Batman was a good guy was because he was Bruce. So if Batman and Bruce weren't the same people, Batman would not be a villain or a hero, he would be an anti-hero. He's a creature without his human side, Bruce, which means he also has some super abilities. And as for Bruce, he's just a rich kid and his parents are alive. He lives a good life and is not Batman. My Imagination is a bit silly, I know

This honestly sounds like this one comic I forgot the name of. Basically it’s about a kid who is a big fan of Batman comics named Bruce wainwright. His parents are killed and then there’s some kinda bat creature formed from Bruce’s vengeance or something like that.

You know what would have been so cool? If they did an extra bonus episode from Bruce’s point of the view in series finale as Batman. I know we’ve seen that in every incarnation of Batman’s origin story, but we never got to see it from this Bruce’s point of view. Also, we never got to see what older Bruce looks like. Also, I really want to know what it was like for this version of Bruce to put on the cowl for the first time and start his crusade. This way, you can watch the series finale normally and from Bruce’s point of view.

Nah, he gets training from at least ten different characters and a ton of experience and then he disappears for ten full years. By the time he is Batman he is as experienced as any version of Batman. In some aspects more since this one of the versions who crossed over more with a dark side.

he trains at random moments from different people who kidnap him and stuff like Sensei but that isn't his training for being batman. It's where he learned to let go of his fears and pain, he learned to fight from alfred. He only actually trains in the 10 years before the finale. You see that in this very episode. Not the previous one, my bad.

They really could've just hired some random cosplayer to make an original Batsuit for the show, and it still would've looked better. Seriously, even with being a fan of the show since the first year it started, I laughed when I saw that goofy costume.

Um no there have been several instances were batman uses the blunt side of the batarang to stun or concuss criminals. He uses the sharp side to unfatally cut or for convenience for example cutting a rope to save someone.

Ehhh todavía no veo a la temporada 5 , pero lo que puedo entender bruce utiliza por primera vez el traje de batman en el final de gotham, para mostrar al batman de gotham.(bruce acá se va por una década y regresa a gotham como batman)
Darkwastaken idk it's some vision bruce is having, batman isn't real yet. It's some vision, I don't remember the context exactly but I think the hooded figure (it's not batman) is just his subconscious or something. It's only in this one episode, it's just an effect of him being drugged. The hooded figure is like his real self trying to get him back because he was obviously mind controlled or drugged or something. I hope that makes sense. Bascially it's all in his mind, the batman figure. It's likely inspired by his memories of Azrael (watch the show and yes azrael isn't done as much justice in the show as he could've been from the comics). There's probably more build up to it but I don't remember what it is.
Bruce hasn't become batman yet. He's just having a weird trip because Ivy drugged him and he sees a part of himself, which will become Batman. He's tripping basically and having a conversation in his mind.

This is not his best acting. It's not the Godfather or anything but this kid acts like comic Batman/ Bruce Wayne. Moreso than any other batman in my opinion except Val Kilmer and Ben Affleck.

To be fair, 10 years from teen years or childhood can be a big change, but for adults 10 years can barely change your looks or physique at all, especially if you keep a good healthy routine like a cop would. So it's not unexpected how little change was for Gordon.

It was before Bruce got the idea of using his fear of bats as his symbol to scare the criminals too, thats why he didn't have ears in the appearances before the finale. It was still Batman, but without the bats. So it was just scary night demon man in the dream sequences
