Lol😂 12:06 ole! Hola bruce. Thats cartoon joker at his finest. Man he did such a good job bringing joker to life.
I do recall being a bit bummed that they changed up the performance for Jeremiah between Seasons 4 and 5, but I still enjoyed this portrayal. Jeremiah was much more emphatic of the super-sanity bit in season 4, about being so utterly in control of yourself it appeared insane (i.e. flat affect, no emotion). Jeremiah in Season 5 still retains that sort of alien-ness to emotion, like he doesn't really behave totally normally with regards to his inappropriate laughter and eerily flat-sounding voice, but he's also got a bit more of a pep to him, as well as engaging in more openly insane gestures like licking a knife and all that, plus not a single mention of the super-sane philosophy he was invoking in season 4. They could've fixed it easily if they'd just included some lines about Jeremiah in season 5 being noted of losing further control of himself as the gas continues to eat away at his sanity. Maybe a bit more to show Jeremiah struggling with his stranger impulses, like licking the knife or inappropriately laughing. Then when we finally get him to dip in the acid, we can see that as the final melting away of his impulses so that when he comes back out he's just entirely delusional and irrational and manic, all the while still retaining his intelligence -- in short, classic Joker, though perhaps with a bit of Pennywise mixed in to add that alien factor. That progression would've made a lot more sense for such things like why Mr. J feels he's no longer the person he was, that sort of thing.
They didn't really have a choice. They had to finish the story on Season 5 (even though they wanted to end the show on Season 7) so they had to speed things up and make Jeremiah's change a lot faster.
But they could've made Jeremiah lose his memory. And him die in No Man's Land so nobody knows if it's Jeremiah or someone else. Because he has the intelligence of Jeremiah but some random guy fell in the chemicals a couple days before the emergence of the Joker.
@@TheMiksonPL If the show did end up going to season 7, it would have been interesting to see how Jeremiah would have evolved over two more seasons. Interesting to think about.
@@BigLTheBestMC I think that we would end up with the same Jeremiah we had in Season 5, but in Season 5 & 6 we would see how he evolves to become the Joker. The whole thing was really pushed, but they didn't have a choice...
@Brian G. I preferred Season 4 Jeremiah but I like his S5 characterisation too. I think his cold unfeeling attitude in S4 was an attempt to hold his insanity back and pretend he was sane because admitting his insanity would have involved admitting that Jerome was right about Jeremiah being as crazy and evil as he was and Jeremiah hated Jerome so much he'd sooner have killed himself than admit Jerome was right about anything. According to Cameron Monaghan the success of Jeremiah's plan to destroy Gotham inflated his ego even more than it already was to the point where he stopped holding back and started showing more of his craziness. The Season 4 episode One Bad Day before Jeremiah meets Ra's Al Ghul the way Jeremiah says "How did they figure you out" sounds more like Jerome's gravelly voice than Jeremiah's cold and emotionless one which suggests being sprayed by the gas caused him to develop a split personality based on Jerome. It happens again in a Season 5 episode where before Ecco's comes to talk to him Jeremiah's arguing with himself about Bruce saying "He'll like it" in his own voice and "No he won't" in Jerome's. He was probably talking about the random couple he gave plastic surgery to look like Bruce's parents. In Jeremiah's sick mind he was bringing Bruce's parents back as a "present" that he was convinced Bruce would thank him for and become his friend because of it. Since Jerome would have probably said that the plan was stupid if he was alive Jeremiah's apparent split personality version of Jerome in his head said the same.
@@DarkNexus530 I think they honestly came out with an even better interpretation thanks to Cameron's stellar acting skills and that they didn't have to conform to any one "Joker" since they didn't have the rights anyways. Two very distinct styles of Joker but both feel right. Also the whole "two jokers in every deck" thing with them being twins and all.
DC didn't want to have two live action jokers at the same time, so they just invested in Jared Letto's joker instead, which i find dumb not just because letto's was a bad joker, but also because they had no real reason to not lend the rights of the name to fox
And investing in Leto's Joker turned out to be a waste of time because he was shit and Joaquin Phoenix surpassed him in every way. Leto's also an extremely petty man since he tried to stop the Joker film from being released out of jealousy that Phoenix was a better Joker than him. And while he was filming Suicide Squad he did disgusting shit like give his fellow cast members dead rats and used condoms and justified it as "getting into character" even though no version of The Joker has given anybody dead rats or used condoms.
I love Cameron Monaghan he was perfect to play a Joker like person. I hope to see him on the big screen. Also 15:30-15:34 Did Jeremiah’s men steal Luis’s horn?
Glad the last season finally got a proper Joker. IDC what anyone says Jeremiah is DEFINITELY the joker. By far the best villain ever in Gotham and an amazing actor to play him. Just wish he appeared in more episodes in season 5 though.
ecco was supposed to be harley quinn tho they way they made it, maybe someone later comes up and replaces her, or maybe theirs MULTIPLE harley quinns that eventually die and get replaced, considering he had facial reconstructive surgery for his plan, wouldn't be surprised if he did the same for the new "harleys" allowing him to essentially try to recreate ecco or something as well as maintain the appearance of one harley
15:03 Thinking about it now this bit is based on Dark Knights Metal where one universe's Joker kills loads of people and Batman is eventually forced to kill him but Joker turns his world's Batman into The Batman Who Laughs in death.
@@menames184 basically. a guy said to bruce wait “bruce, you’re supposed to be dead” and bruce said “sorry to disappoint. i don’t think it was an exact reference because of the use of different characters but it went like that

Yeah. I think they only got 12 episodes as opposed to the usual 22 of the other 4 seasons so they had to rush certain things which is why Jeremiah appeared less than he should have, why the Ventriloquist was killed off in the episode where he first got Scarface, why the Gotham versions of Nyssa Al Ghul and Bane were so bad, why most of Riddler's storyline was him being controlled by Bane and so on.
@@Xehanort10 I agree! Maybe the last season could have been 10 years later with Jeremiah as the Joker like character, Penguin and Riddler in their improved costumes, the birth of Two Face, more time with Bane, Ventriliquist, and Mr. Freeze. The Riddler sucked in the last season, as Ed was never so much a byatch as he was in this last season.

At 0:59 it kinda looks like he has a split personality to me😂
Could be Jerome still talking to him
@@Dawn23716 kinda what i had in mind aswell👌🏻
19:26 hes just like "get away from me child"
Glad the last season finally got a proper Joker. IDC what anyone says Jeremiah is DEFINITELY the joker. By far the best villain ever in Gotham and an amazing actor to play him. Just wish he appeared in more episodes in season 5 though.
Heath ledger, memory remains. I'm so happy with the style and how he talks is so same. Brilliant 👍
I think the one dislike was from Bruce.
Or Selina
@@MrJcdelete18 Or Jerome
Shadow Rev I think all 3
And Ecco after he killed her

“OMFG! THAT WAS SO COOL!” *turns to him* “YOU ARE SO GOTDAMN CO-!” *gets ko’d by a batarang*
17:55 " *WHY AREN'T YOU LAUGHING?!* "
12:40 "vAgAbOnD"
Kaleb Barber i’ve never noticed that before omg i’m crying why is that so funny i- 😂
The absolute ✨SaSs✨ in his voice when he said that line tho 😂
I'm more of a Jerome girl but Cameron pulled off Jeremiah very well. My favorite scene has to be him eating the damn sandwich xD
🃏JEREMIAH🃏
6:59 can't touch this
Yeah I saw that video too .
Jeremiah after chemicals speaks and looks like Vito Corleone
Well Joker is connected to Batman in weirdest ways. They potrayed that very good.
That girl should of fell into the acid would’ve been a good Harley lmao
Namjin are my parents
Her face would have gotten messed up like Jeremiah.
ecco was supposed to be harley quinn
tho they way they made it, maybe someone later comes up and replaces her, or maybe theirs MULTIPLE harley quinns that eventually die and get replaced, considering he had facial reconstructive surgery for his plan, wouldn't be surprised if he did the same for the new "harleys" allowing him to essentially try to recreate ecco or something as well as maintain the appearance of one harley
But she's batgirl
That's batgirl around 8 years before she's batgirl though
7:13 sure
19:22 Jeremiah: oh cute she has your eyes Barbara: damm that is my eyes Ecco: daddy :3
Sad Frog bruh
What the fuck
15:03 Thinking about it now this bit is based on Dark Knights Metal where one universe's Joker kills loads of people and Batman is eventually forced to kill him but Joker turns his world's Batman into The Batman Who Laughs in death.
14:01 is literally the same thing that happened in the comic the bat who laughs
this guy should voice over a joker he sound so spot on good
the way jeremiah was looking at ecco omg i cant ❤❤😍😍
I love how he actually portrayed the joker as a very reliant character on Batman like Mark Hamill and Heath Ledger do
5:24 This is a reference to Batman Begins
How?
@@menames184 basically. a guy said to bruce wait “bruce, you’re supposed to be dead” and bruce said “sorry to disappoint. i don’t think it was an exact reference because of the use of different characters but it went like that
Jeremiah is the hottest Joker ever!😍💚💚💚💚
Jeremiah is what Leto’s Joker should’ve been
11:12
IM LAUGHING OMFG DID HE MEAN WHAT I THOUGHT HE DID BAHAHAHA
23:07
Why this moment got to me?
It's the only moment I've seen where Jeremiah actually started laughing like Jerome did...
Jeremiah and echo confirmed as Harley and joker
well... ecco being the first harley apparently cuz shes dead
Well a proto harley quinn
22:19 did he just admit that he loves bruce ? :o
Oh yes he did.
This guy plays a better joker than Leto?
Well of course. He isn’t talking in a deep voice, having thugs dressed in Halloween costumes, or dressed like a gangster. And a this is a small detail but *HE ACTUALLY LAUGHS LIKE THE JOKER*
@@thescreenslaver8520 yeah. And not “hA hA hA hA hA hAaAaAAAaaaaA”
I’m kind of jealous that she gets to dance with Jeremiah
Honestly imagine seeing this man try being other super villains in others or shows… he could pull off quite a few if you ask me but I can’t name any
20:24 at least he didn't hit the child. What a gentleman.
Jerimaih kn S5 before he falls Is one of the best scenes of him
I watch this once a day
At 8:45 Bruce: Well, Jeremiah, have you considered getting an account on Wattpad?
Im probably the only one that lowkey wanted Jeremiah to succeed
Allynah Nadia I wanted that too
are you from Indonesia?
I love how more manic Jeremiah has become in season 5
He is nothing like Ian Gallagher, he has managed to become something entirely new. Phenomenal actor.
Is it me or was Season 5 a bit rushed? The last episode could have featured Jeremiah more, as it should have been a 2 hour finale.
4:48 god damn that is some good facial acting. im not an actor but even my dumb ass can figure out that thats some impressive work right there
I love this version of Joker. Closest to Mark Hamill's Joker who is my all time fave. Yes, the animated one. But this Joker is ridiculously clever, never know what he'll do next, and plays all kinds of twisted games.
Have any of you noticed in season 4 he thinks he's sane talks normal but creepy but in season 5 before he falls in the acid he talks and acts like a little bit of jerome and joker
Cameron Monaghan deserves to be next joker
When Jeremiah said "there was another me too" was he talking about jerome?
@Professor Zoom oh okay
I think that would make since
@@dave1172 nah I think it was jerome. But maybe he was talking about himself. That's a little weird tho, and this Joker is not insane, he's angry but he's still intelligent.
No. I think he just means who he was before died when he fell into the chemicals and The Joker is who he is now. The Jeremiah Valeska persona is gone.
I'd say Jeremiah is the joker. 18:19 He fell into a vat of toxic chemicals 19:00 he's got the look, the face and the attitude
Never understood why Cameron gets so much hate!
He nailed it as the Joker.
Every step of the way.
