"Oh? You're approaching me?" -- Using JapanMan's own invasion against him! | YamatomanV3 (MMBN3)

- From my very first battle with JapanMan, I noticed he encroached your area till you were down to the last column and thought you don't really get to use grabrevenge in PvE fights, this could make a cool video! Was hoping to just use multiple grab revenges and that would be the end of it but he doesn't use Backup until he's at 50% HP.
So one quick first turn EverCurse was the setup I needed. Nice thing about GrabRevenge is that it pierces invis so you can just continually stack them one after the other. During the pause, I am counting how many panels I'd need to give up before using the chip for lethal.
"He could Arealock others to declare victory--but not for himself. ...Ironic." ._. This post's full of references this time.
Anyways, this was from a series of fun videos where I tried to get S-Ranks under fun, suboptimal conditions. (Things like no FastGauge, no trader/lotto perks, etc, find some gimmick victory condition). Don't mind the pause in the middle as I'm calculating how much math I need to win. This was wayyy earlier in my recording from my playthrough so it's a bit rough around the edges.
Wait, revenge grab doesn't make enemy flinch?
This is why I love BN3's GrabRevenge, lol. I actually learned for the first time that you could spam it in this fight against JapanMan when I was tossing ideas around.
(To be pedantic, GrabRevenge _does_ flinch, but it also pierces invis ._.)
@rebycVG I forgot piercing invis is a thing lmao 🤣
So what is your first custom.
In my old GBA it Guts custom. Petty basis.
Then Aqua custom.
...I don't remember, lol.
I think it was WoodShield like 20 years ago? In this BN3 replaythrough, it was Shadow style.
