    We gotta get this (and you) onto some cedh game play vids. Play to win might be down. I’d love to see this thing go up against the competition/meta.

    Hey I really enjoy your videos.
    One constructive criticism I’d like to add is … when you’re play testing the deck could you use the names of the cards you’re casting, tapping, etc?
    I’m sure I’m not the only one who listens to videos more than actually watches them and it’s frustrating and not helpful when I’m listening to your video while doing something else and I can’t tell what‘s being cast.
    Other than that, great videos, keep it up

    Have you considered Sunforger to pull out your instant speed interaction?
    Plus I found Aurelia and Helm of the Host to be fantastic additions. It’s another combo wincon, plus either piece is amazing to have on the field when Voja is out. Extra combats, or Extra Vojas are always welcome in that deck
    Also I’m surprised Aura Shards or All Will Be One didn’t make the cut. AWBO is basically another Shallai and Hallar

      Elvish Harbinger would be solid include as well. Tutor your Mirror Entity to the top, or other elves you need. Seems like your Elf count is a tad low, so compensating with tutors could be a good idea to help get you get even more consistency

    I don't like this list for casual or cEDH. It doesn't fit with either format. For cEDH, I don't think it can hang... maybe I'm wrong but this seems like a worse creature deck than the other bad creature decks in cEDH. If the pod doesn't have much blue maybe you have a chance. But more importantly, this is too mean for casual. The whole table is going to groan when you're playing all the cEDH staples.

    • @decktechsfordecks

      I assure you no ones playing this in casual that would be messed up 😜. I’m curious why you don’t think it can get there in cEDH. I’m also curious if you have any cEDH experience for background purposes 😁

      The stax pieces become 10/10s very quickly and we are running flash creatures to help get past the restrictions. Mirror entity is also an amazing mana dump so we are fine with casting another stax piece, then dumping the rest of the mana into mirror entity.

    i just don’t think this brew is strong enough to compete with tier 1 and 2 decks consistently. Stax is currently not in a good place because of the 1-2 punch of turbo naus and blue farm, the card quality here is below average (a red deck that cannot adequately use dockside should be a hint to that) and the combos/value engines use far too much mana. voja plus mirror entity or voja plus maskwood nexus and having to wait a turn to attack and not having dockside is not great. i don’t see how this is stronger than rocco, let alone consistently hanging with the other decks i mentioned
    i love voja though

    Surely, putting the worst combo in the color idenity into a deck that has no synergy with it will make your deck better.

    • @decktechsfordecks
      @decktechsfordecks  4 месяца назад

      The synergy is with mirror entity. If the decks goal is to drop mirror entity every single game regardless of combo. Having another creature that wins you the game when mirror entity is out makes the deck better. 😁

    My Voja is just 1 mana elfs (mostly dorks) 0 Wolfs. I win turn 4.
    For cEDH its not good, for casual its to brutal. Dont know what to do with it ...
    Maybe wait 2 years until powercreep ups the power level of casual enough. But a single counterspell invalids this deck.

    Sure, he has ward, but still

    • @decktechsfordecks
      @decktechsfordecks  4 месяца назад

      It’s worth noting in cEDH people only use removal on win attempts or pieces that prevent them from winning the game. Voja is neither of those so he always resolves. You can also see from the comments the cEDH community doesn’t respect it 😜
      Most cEDH decks also run super low land counts as well so if we turn 2 voja into turn 3 collector ouphe or magus of the moon that ward ability becomes hexproof. I would like to point out as well the cEDH meta is slowing down they are calling it “mid range hell” even the cEDH average tournament winning turn is currently 6. So a stax list that can present turn 5 wins is definitely viable. 😁
      All love just trying to help explain my reasoning. This is a deck I’ve been playing sense the commander came out and the cEDH group that plays against it have started to respect it sense it has a positive win rate. 😁

    • @robertomacetti7069
      @robertomacetti7069 4 месяца назад

      @@decktechsfordecks I can see that, but also the meta is slowing down because the decks can stop everything with a wall of counter magic from turn 0, so...
      I can agree on voja being able to steal a game in the right pod, but that's the highest ceiling he can have imho

    At the point of playing Voja, why not just play Atla as commander? Voja has nothing to do with any of your combos.

    • @decktechsfordecks
      @decktechsfordecks  4 месяца назад

      Card advantage in the command zone is huge. It’s important to note we want to get mirror entity out every game so the combos are focused around him. Saying voja has nothing to do with the combos isn’t true. He gives Atla and mirror entity the counter and he’s what’s putting all the counter on our creatures when we go for the shalai and hallar win.
      The reason we run voja instead is because he’s far more flexible. He’s super hard to remove because he has ward 3, and he’s not super combo reliant like atla is. we can pivot between buffing our entire board and smashing face or we go the combo route.

  • @Gleebusaz
