I’ve seen it on video countless times over the last going on fifty years-
You have Elvis in ‘73, nodding at someone in the audience in Hawaii as James kicks off “Johnny B. Goode” , as if to say, “listen to that”
Then in ‘87 during Ooby Dooby, Roy smiles as James takes the first part of his ride. I love watching Springsteen play with them both on stage . The similarity? All three, The King, The Boss, and The Big O ALL get these mischievous grins as Mr. B starts ripping into his rides, respectively.was a universal admiration for his playing style and soul that they all three felt and heard.. The beauty of music. It stirs something otherworldly in us all.

Nah, I don't think so, actually: music n camaraderie's too good here. And I can see that ol' Brucie should play more guitar solos w/his own band. I mean hello everybody: just bcs Stevie V-Z's a great guitar player DOES NOT rule out listening to a GOOD guitar player as well; that experience is absolutely just as good-hell, if he's good, he's great.
