This is probably the biggest benefit of the disc bound system: you can completely customize the size. You can do the same with the Asian loose leaf system (like what Kokuyo and Maruman uses), but the binding for those doesn't come in large sizes.
Also, I love stoppers/guides on hole punches and paper cutters! I think it's ridiculous that they're not just standard to include.
I love tiny pens like that. Not my preference for general writing - I can't comfortably hold pens that slim - but they're great to tuck into little nooks and crannies so you always have a pen with you!

I agree wholeheartedly with what you said about the discbound. We can even “invent” our own sizes without ever worrying about covers. Everything can be DIYed except the hole punch and the actual discs.
I have the Kokuyo myself and I love that it’s refillable, but I’m limited as to the number of sheets it can carry. I also wonder why stoppers aren’t standard! The Arc does have a stopper that can be adjusted, but for now with my Happy Planner hole punch, these DIY stoppers do the job. They’re just not as pretty, but I won’t complain about their functionality.
Thanks so much for dropping by!

this is great in jotting down ideas wherever you are (as long as you bring this index cards) i used to record my voice in my cellphone whenever ideas struck me in the middle of the road, while riding a bus, or just walking around the community. but this will come in handy in recording/writing down your dreams as soon as you wake up, which i often do. great vids by the way

Hello Sir! Thanks for dropping by my little channel po. I also used to take advantage of the voice recording feature of my cellphone. Very convenient. But I find it most helpful when I wake up in the middle of the night with a dream I want to remember. So, without needing to get up or even turn on the lights or open my eyes, I am able to record what I remember about the dream, and just write it down later.
A small notebook is certainly very handy, and safer to hold in the hands while out and about, compared with a cellphone. And like you said in your post a few days ago, even your handwriting is an indicator of the importance/urgency regarding what you’re writing. That’s an added advantage of a traditional notebook.

I do like this. It’s very handy dandy! I bought those discs through a shopping app that operates in Asia. Let me look for the link and I’ll share it here.

What size of disks do you think I would need for 250 index cards? I’ll be using the 4x6 cards.

Measure the thickness of your index card stack. Whatever the thickness of that is, that will be the size discs you will need.
