I'm so excited to share the card deck I have loved with others!!
My 2023 plan with me videos look pretty similar to what I've done in the past, with a big exception to meal planning. I use digital way less than I ever have. Part of that is due to us being on a boat (see our family vlogs at / thedonoghs . However, the much larger reasoning behind it is that I am growing tired of always being called to my phone.
I still use my Passion Planner and do Morning Pages. Most importantly, I still love using my cards consistently. There is something about the nostalgic feeling of index cards that I love. Plus, like I mention in the video, I'm able to clear a big chunk of what I used to always feel behind on out of my brain and even off of my planner. Score!
I keep high level goals in the Passion Planner, do a "brain dump" during morning pages, and automate the reminders and snooze with my card system. It's been pretty great.
I hope you'll try out the card system. My shop features my card deck as a digital download. You download the pages that work best with how you're printing. There is also an option to edit using Canva if you're interested in customizing your card deck. Purchase, download, print, cut, and organize. Хобби

Keep at it, my dear. I enjoyed your first video on the system and applied it. It helped much during a period of studies for me. Love this video as well. Your efforts are not in vain. Keep on keeping on! God bless you.
Thank you so much for the encouragement!! ❤️
This all makes sense to me! Thank you for posting this video. Lots of good ideas.

very interesting! I read a little bit of the S.H.E. book because I learned of it from the Fly Lady, but I didn't conceptualize that it would be as useful as you've demonstrated. I'm so glad you made this movie!
It's my pleasure! Thank you so much for sharing how you came about the method.
Thanks for sharing your ideas. The storage cards are genius! ❤
It’s my pleasure!!

I downloaded these and love them...because I'm going to start on January 1 / 24 - I decided to use the year space for my mood...I might rethink it, but I like the idea...

Luv that boox!
Do you have a video talking about your favorite self help books?
I don't - however, the books that inspire my actions still to this day, that I have cards for are from The Artist’s Way, Sink Reflections, The Miracle Morning, Zero Waste Home, and obviously Sidetracked Home Executives. A couple others that have shaped me are The War of Art, Master Key System, and the Bible. Do you have any favorites?
Where did you get your mesh pouch and what size is it?
I use a black mesh case that wasn't intended for index cards, but it works! Its this one amzn.to/3uLWoED - I use the others to store my pencils, highlighters, and coloring supplies. I use either the A5 or A6 pouch.
I’m excited to start this! How do you plan your homeschooling? I feel like you would have a good system for that😊
Yay! This was the first year we aren't homeschooling since my son was in first grade! When I homeschooled I planned out units that followed the suggested topics for the grade level and would use Trello and/or my planner to compile the plans and resources. It was way too much. I wish I would have moved everything over to index cards much earlier - that would have helped on days they were sick, etc. and we didn't get to the plan. I would have shuffled the cards around and been good to go.
@@timeandtideplans thanks! I am new to the cards (I bought the get started set yesterday) but I’m wondering how it would look to put things into cards. Would you have a card per child per subject?
Thank you! Where did you get your pouch from? ❤

Thank you so so much! Now off to check your shop ❤
Can you make 4x6 size cards?
Happily! I’ve had someone else request a larger size as well. I will work on that over the next couple of weeks and let you know when they are ready. Thanks for asking!
I'm curious what % of most peoples day is recurring tasks for cleaning and maintenance vs. project progress and one off tasks and activities.
That's a fascinating question!
Do you really need a card to remind you to make your bed? Not executive material.
🤣 such a good point. Many of the cards are used more so as motivation. Moving a card for something that is little to no effort you have already done gets the snowball rolling for the day.
Rude
Hope you can get yourself some self esteem so you don’t have to look for fast fading ego hits to inflate yourself
I am an adult with ADD so yep, I do need that card b/c it not only makes me focus on that task, but I am rewarded by moving it to the next day. This is a blessing. I am going to add my Faith & Bible study section!!! I created them but not printed yet. You are awesome!!!
