We sat between turn 9&10. My 11 year old son stood at the fence line during the warmup laps and waived at you until it went green. Your an inspiration to kids everywhere. Ignore the haters. You did well and we were cheering you on then the last lap happened 😢. Keep up the great work!

I think Hailie was hurt really bad last year at the Cleetus McDonald Bristol event - and it changed her. She felt impact that her fellow truck series drivers never have - and it shook her up.
Much like bicyclists in the Netherlands that do not wear helmets, and pre-90's NHL hockey players that did not wear helmets, and pre- 90's NFL players that wore small pads, and small, or no, facemasks - race drivers of today have no risks, given the safety measures that are in place.
Stay with me:
If you know something is going to hurt or maim you, you take precautions to prevent this. You slow down into the hockey boards...you don't peddle your bike as fast around the corner...you don't lead with your head in order to make the tackle...you don't drive your car recklessly into that corner, knowing it is going to hurt.
I believe Hailie felt that pain at the above-mentioned Bristol event and has yet to recover from it...
It’s funny you say that, because I just made this comment to my buddy the other day that I think she’s driving scared. I’m not saying it as a bad thing about her, but you have to be fearless as a driver. Fear has ruined a lot of driver’s careers, and she certainly wouldn’t be the first.

Good observation. I always said that race should never been allowed with the way those cars were prepared. I mean the window nets were held into place via Tec screws ffs. Bristol dropped the ball on that one. Those Vic's should have never been allowed on the track.

Don't let yourself get discouraged Hailie. You were awesome out there this week! Had a little trouble in the rain, but stayed patient and only slid once (that's better than Matt Crafton and a few others who span multiple times) and once it dried up you were picking them off one at a time and you just did great. You were P. 10 for a good while and I thought you might finish 9th or 8th. I'm sorry your truck started falling apart, I was praying that wouldn't happen. I wondered what happened because it was about 5 to go and you fell back to P. 15 and I saw you go off the track on that turn on the final lap, and after Cory Heim finished I checked the leaderboard and noticed Lawless Alan was P. 17 and I just knew. I didn't want to make assumptions, but I had a feeling, because FS1 only caught the part where you were getting back on the track but they never showed a replay to show what caused it and they didn't say anything either. I checked the race highlights and then the extended highlights once they were uploaded and I saw that Lawless was P. 16 right after you span. I'm so disappointed and frustrated that he did that again and the only reason some people are badmouthing you and other drivers wrecking you like this is because they know you're getting better and you'll keep getting better. And they have a few problems: bad character, immaturity, greed, and selfishness. Racing is supposed to be fun, we like you because you do this because it's fun and it's what you enjoy doing, and you're kind and respectful to other people and drivers and you do your best and when you don't finish as well as you wanted, you try your best to do better next time. That's what this is supposed to be, this is what drivers and their teams are supposed to do. But they see $ signs and they don't want anyone to win that $ but them, especially not a girl. And it's just sad, because it really shows the lack of character and maturity that Lawless has and a few others. I like Ryan Blaney and Josh Berry and quite a few others, but you're one of my favorite ones because of who you are as a person. Just keep doing your best and keep believing in yourself, I have a feeling you're gonna win soon. You're doing an amazing job. We love you, God bless you and I'm praying it goes better at Pocono.
