The talent on this stage.. Honestly one of the best group of performers I've ever known of. This music can only be described as perfect.
I am proud to say that I did the lighting for this amazing show by this incredible bunch of musicians! I was the House Electrician/Lighting Director at Highline Ballroom for nearly 10 years. If you look closely, you can see that I was projecting the moving lights off of dressing room mirrors placed on the floor. This not only allowed me to get the effect closer to the artists without having the actual light in their performance space, but it allowed the effect to get larger before it reflected up behind them, truly enveloping them. I really loved doing this show. Omar and Diantoni had seen my crazy mirror ball and mirror tricks work before, which is why they shot this at Highline. They both just told me "Let it rip!", giving me full creative license. It was a magical event, to say the least.
I don't know spanish but somehow the message comes through loud and clear. Beautiful.

I get goosebumps every time I hear this song.That's the definition of heartfelt.

This is sublime! Normally I don't feel compelled to comment on videos but everything about this performance and this song is phenomenal. By far the best rendition of El Todo I've ever heard!

@boogster123321 he knew octahedron wasn't going to be as successful. he made it as an acoustic album because he wanted to try something different. just because an album is eclectic doesn't mean its a failure. but your musical flexibility is.

This video was posted in 2010. I posted that comment when they were still together and this song was relevant to the situation.
I don't know if you've ever been in a relationship, but things like that happen. It is entirely possible to fall in love for a relatively short period of time. Also, how do you know for sure who dumped who or whether it was a mutual ending? You don't.

@iamthegirlfriend oh totally omar is one of the best composers in the modern generation of music. i actually never got into ATDI, i bought relationship in command and didnt get some of the hype. its a cool record but idk just never got into it

well at some level is true what your saying, this is one if not the best song omar has released as a solo artist ( I mean this version of el todo not the one from tychozorente, that one is good but not as good as this one). But i think he should incorporate what he has learned from being a solo artist to tmv so tmv sounds again like frances the mute or deloused...

@boogster123321... i always kinda felt omars solo stuff, well the live stuff at least always had that feel.. your right, at least the most recent tmv material..the orlg show they did with thomas on drums were fucking amazing! both projects are still kewl though
