Raylaya i don’t think he would have risked a pedestrians life as apart of a test, that would be very reckless and unprofessional of him, but by this he does not seem very professional anyways
First of all, it's not a pedestrian. If the person was walking with the bike, then it would be a pedestrian. If you are cycling across, then you have to yield for the car
Great job stopping for the pedestrian even though the light was green! I dont know why the examiner was telling you to go even though they haven't fully crossed yet.
Yeah I didn't get that too, maybe he didn't see the pedestrian crossing and it made me feel very nervous when he told me to go. Thanks for watching and have a wonderful evening!
@@BossTraveler Multiple reasons. Driver could have gone ahead of the person in the crossing because it has a center median and they where still on the other side of it. Driver should have pulled up to the intersection further while waiting. Driver should have anticipated them getting across and started moving sooner than you did.

Had my test here ,and it went well! No errors, and my driving instructor was real nice :) I was pretty anxious about the entire process, but this video helped (the route is exactly the same as in the video). I don't know who this might help in the future, but here are some minor, but tricky things to keep in mind for the test (and hopefully save you some money + time too :) ) 1. Straight toward Napa St: For the backing portion, make sure to use your turning signals when pulling into and out of the curb. Use your hazard lights when backing up, and use your right mirror (while looking back) to see how far you are from the curb. Move your wheel clockwise to pull closer/counter-clockwise to move further from the curb. You'll also notice that this street turns from a One Way into a Two Way road, so be mindful. I saw a student automatically fail bc they didn't make the distinction apparent :'( 2. Left on Broadway St: When turning left onto this street, you will make an Unprotected Left Turn. This means that you will have to pull into the intersection, wait for all the cars on the other side to pass, and then proceed left (There should be vids on RUclips too). This is also where you'll have your lane changes. On top of doing all the steps for a lane change, make sure not to cross the intersection when doing so! (I believe there are ~two intersections in this road). 3. Right on Redwood St: When turning right into this street, look over your right shoulder, and make sure to yield + slow down as much as you can without stopping! Anticipate cars coming from your left AND cars making a U-Turn from the other side of the st. into your lane. 4. Right on Alameda Ave: You have the right of way to turn right bc there's no stop sign! Just slow down, look over your right and left shoulder to cover your blind spots, and turn. B) 5. Couch St. turning into the DMV: This part isn't bad, but make sure to get in the middle, yellow lane ahead of time + slow down when making the left turn back into the DMV. General things to cover: unprotected left turns, knowing when to yield vs. when to stop, looking over your shoulder!! 10 minutes and you're done. Good luck :^D

Bad attitude from the instructor. Unacceptable as far as I’m concerned. I was given an intentionally wrong instruction to make sure I would do the right thing, but nothing dangerous like running over a pedestrian! I was told to turn the wrong way down a one way street (there was plenty of room to correct if a mistake was made and no traffic). Everyone is talking about his attitude, his attitude was way better than the person I got stuck with 😭 the lady was so rude to me which did not help how nervous I already was
Thank you so so much for the video! Quick question: when you backed up in a straight line did you keep both hands on the wheel or did you do one hand on wheel and other on passenger seat? (Like when you parallel park)

when backing up, are we supposed to have our emergency lights on? I watched a few driving test videos and wasn't sure if it was needed to have a signal light on or not
Do you know if all california driving tests are the same? Do some include the uphill and downhill parking, parallel parking, two point and three point turns?
As far as I know all of them are similar. I've talked to my parents and friends and they said that their experience was similar to the one in the video.
Hey guys! I just passed the test today with Royster. He's kinda nice tho. He helps to make me feel more relax soo keep on practicting and you will definately pass the test. Good luck
Hi! I’m taking my exam in Vallejo tomorrow as well! What do you think is the hardest or trickiest part of taking the test there? And do you know if this is the same route for everyone?
I think being nervous is the trickiest part and I've talked to 5 people already and they said that they were taken to the same route. I recommend you to go a bit earlier so that you can have some time to practice and take that same road.
Boss Traveler Ahh salamat, ate! My exam is at 11 am tomorrow and I’ll go to the DMV early and follow the route in your video! I was looking for dash cam videos of driving exams in Vallejo and I’m so glad nakita ko yung video mo! Wish me luck and salamat ulit :)

Hi, everyone! Just wanted to update y’all. So I actually failed my driving test. I got the same examiner from the video because I recognize from the voice. His name is Royster. Very aggressive and rude. After we went around the building and past the stop sign to go to the residential area, he told me to pull up to the curb to do the reverse-in-a-straight-line test. I was backing up carefully and slowly. But he was yelling at me to back up faster which made me nervous and I ended up backing into someone’s driveway. So the test was over in like 2 minutes. If you’re taking your test in Vallejo, please ask for someone else to be your proctor because this dude is mean 😭 Many of my sister’s friends have told me that they failed their first time because of him.
ARI & LEXI you’re welcome! Always believe in yourself. And don’t forget to go practice the road on your own that will really help you! I wish you the best of luck!! 😇

Woah yours ended as a nice experience, congrats! I just focused on what I know is the right thing to do just like you :)
You did an awesome job. I’m not even sure why I’m watching these , I’m only in 8th grade but I want to be ready for my drivers test.
You will do great too, just keep practicing!
I had this guy in Vallejo and the failed me, literally kept telling me to go and then failed me for slowing down at a right turn
@Boss Traveler Great job on your behind-the-wheel test and thank you for sharing your experience with us. I would like to thank you also because your video help me pass my test yesterday. God bless!😊
Thank you for watching and we’re happy to help! Drive safely!
@Inday Chinita is it still the same route?
Good job ate!
Claire Douglas thank you very much! Have a lovely day!!!😉❤️
That guy saying go what he talking abt there were pedestrians he crazy 😂
I feel like she stops too short of the line sometimes especially near 8:00 where she had the right of way but didn’t show clear intent to go. Overall pretty good driving
These are my favorite types of videos, Especially when doing drivers ed from home; I'm able to see common mistakes that can be avoided
Thank you for watching!
Wait a second.. was this in vallejo!? (YUP😂Chicken Express certified me that it is)
@BossTraveler Salamat sa vid na ito. Passed my btw yesterday on my first try and same route. This vid helps alot, not to memorize the route but to follow, obey and know traffic rules. Since I discover this vid i kept watching it till the day of my Btw. Study and watch other vids on how to deal with the road sign, turn and lane change. Again salamat ulit🫡✌️
@@artbanal4744 happy to help! Glad you passed Congratulations!

The driving instructor was really impatient and aggressive
Yes he sure was and it freaked the heck out of me, good thing I passed. Thanks for stopping by and have a good one!💚
Boss Traveler you too!!
Yuri' Gilliam thanks!
I got my drivers test yesterday on first try. Feels good
Congratulations!
She did not make a full complete stop at the stop sign bruh she passed omg
if this were me i would be giving him this attitude right back like jesus christ this dude is so impatient for no reason. new drivers are going to be cautious he should know this. good job passing !
Thank you Rebekah!
Took mine today, I was so nervous cause was raining so much but I Passed!
You’re brave on passing. I would have felt like that too if it was raining . Congratulations for this milestone in your life!❤️

You’re welcome, glad it helped! Drive safe❤️
"go cmon go" *as the pedestrian is still crossing*
Right?! I got the same reaction like what? Seriously?!
@@BossTraveler yeah lmao at first maybe he didn’t see the pedestrian but then when you told him that there was a pedestrian there HE STILL TOLD YOU TO GO?? Like wtf is wrong with him. Good job, you did great congrats!!!
@@jayg8339 thank you Jay G
i just took my test today and i passed with no errors! same exact route as this one
Congratulations Daisan!
I have my test Tuesday and I hope the instructer is calm and isn't mean
lmao taking my test for the second time tomorrow morning and this is really helping me calm my nerves. Failed the first time because I didn’t use the emergency lights for backing up, and not using my signals when parking at the curb 😫
All the best! You can do it! If you can subscribe to our channel I woud really appreciate. Thank you so much for watching!
Everyone is talking about his attitude, his attitude was way better than the person I got stuck with 😭 the lady was so rude to me which did not help how nervous I already was
Right? There is someone who is more rude than him like the one you encountered. I hope you passed yours
@ 6:23 if the lights were red would you stop after the crosswalk to yield or stop behind the crosswalk?
Well. If there is no people crossing I would stop after the crosswalk and then make sure that my way is clear before I go. Hope this helps.
@@BossTraveler thank you!
Polo you’re welcome and wish you good luck!
I had this guy and he failed me for going to slow this is in Vallejo ca btw! But congrats!!!

You can do this. I wish you the best of luck!
Salamat!
You actually seem really good at driving! Did you practice alot before or did you already know how to drive?
Thanks, yes I did practice a lot before the day of my test.

@@BossTraveler thank you. Yes it is, congratulations to you.
Congratulations..!! Thanks for sharing this video:)
Thank you so so much for the video! Quick question: when you backed up in a straight line did you keep both hands on the wheel or did you do one hand on wheel and other on passenger seat? (Like when you parallel park)
V Green I kept one on the steering wheel and the other one on the passenger seat. Hope this answer helps you and if you can pls consider subscribing I would really appreciate that. Thanks and I wish you the best of luck! You can do this
Thank you soooo much and will do!!!
Look easy driving test in California, USA not same in Finland very hard and tough. But anyway i passed a test yesterday. Good luck to all of you.
Congratulations to you too😊 have a safe driving!
@@BossTraveler thank you❤️
when backing up, are we supposed to have our emergency lights on? I watched a few driving test videos and wasn't sure if it was needed to have a signal light on or not
In my experience, I didnt but I did physically look behind when backing up
Good question, i don't want points taken off for something like this
Thank you for your video it was extremely helpful! I passed! 🚘
Congratulations! 🎉
Do you know if all california driving tests are the same? Do some include the uphill and downhill parking, parallel parking, two point and three point turns?
As far as I know all of them are similar. I've talked to my parents and friends and they said that their experience was similar to the one in the video.
Thank you for uploading! This is vallejo, i'm testing in fairfield tomorrow because I don't like vallejos dmv people.
Thank you for watching!
Hey guys! I just passed the test today with Royster. He's kinda nice tho. He helps to make me feel more relax soo keep on practicting and you will definately pass the test. Good luck

Congrats I take mines Friday wish me luck 🍀👍
Jay Bee no worries! Kindly share it to your family and friends as well. If you could subscribe to our channel we would really appreciate it. I wish you all the best kaya mo Yan!
You did perfectly on that test. He was rushing.
Thank you so much for the video it really mean help a lot :) I have a test on feb 7 :) wish me luck :)
ARI & LEXI you’re welcome! Always believe in yourself. And don’t forget to go practice the road on your own that will really help you! I wish you the best of luck!! 😇
