@@LouieB615 I miss when they had the Mountain bar at the Wild West. I recall it was 24hr happy hour. $3 drafts, and Jim Beam specials. Great place to watch the games.
Thanks for the overview of Bally's. When I last went to the casino it was super smokey. I haven't stayed there or gambled there. Maybe I will see on your next video of Bally's before making a decision on going there.
Good video. I stayed here for the first time last summer for a few days. I stayed at the Dennis Towers. It’s was a nice experience over all, but it definitely won’t be my first choice on next visit. There were some issues though I will point out on my visit. -Stayed at Dennis Tower room was clean, but outdated with worn out furniture. -Had serious homeless problems, they were sleeping at the slot machines, and asking for money on casino floor -Some staff was friendly, others weren’t. -Guy Fieri’s Chophouse was too expensive, I avoided that spot lol. (I see they are closed down now) -about 20% of the game tables were open. We will see if the new improvements that Nu Yawk showed us of Ballys change my opinion about it
Hey Jeff. Your correct. The Dennis tower is terrible unless you stay in a suite or ocean view room the garden tower is smoking only yuck. Ballys tower is the only decent tower. I've stayed in all 3 towers in 2024. The Chinese restaurant is very good but pricey. The mini food court has decent food
I'd say that the Dennis Tower has the least expensive rooms in a resort right on the boardwalk. I recently paid $300 total for 5 nights. Dennis Tower rooms have a mini-fridge and I've never had a problem with plumbing or heating/air conditioning.
Hi Jeff! I’m 1/2 of the couple from Michigan that met you by the rotating bar. We were so happy to meet you, and thank you for taking the time with us. We tried the happy hour at Morton’s on your suggestion and it was one of the best meals we had.
The Dennis towers along with the Claridge and Resorts Hotel are the last of the early 20th Century Hotels, the Dennis being the oldest in 1911-1922, and Resorts in 1927. The last of the old Atlantic City
Used to stay at Bally's a lot, but lately Havana Tower rooms at the Trop have been the same price as Dennis Tower rooms, so I stay at the Trop instead. Bally's needs to reopen the hot tubs and keep the pool open every day.
I've finally received an offer from Caesar's that flies from Toronto! For a first timer in Atlantic City but long time Las Vegas patron would you choose Caesar's, Harrah's or the Tropicana? Caesars does cost more. (about 200$ more) It would be for September. We're going to LV in July so hopefully will get some Caesar points built up, even though we are staying at the Venetian 😉.
First question: Do you want to be on the Boardwalk? If so, you can count out Harrahs, it's on the other side of town. Caesars is centrally located on the Boardwalk and is very nice but there are limited restaurants. Tropicana has tons of restaurants and shops, it's the biggest hotel in town. But it is a little separated from the rest at the southern most point on the boardwalk. The Boardwalk trams will still be running in September or you can walk. Trop is a great place (although it's no Venetian)! LOL! Thanks for watching and subscribing Lillian! Have a great time in Vegas and AC!
@@NuYawk Do the trams go from Harrahs to the boardwalk? I think the boardwalk is probably important for a first visit. I’m not a huge foodie 😂The reason I like Venetian/Palazzo is for the Prestige Club. I get breakfast there and am filled with their hot and cold canapés for dinner (and the cocktails). That way I save on food.
One time at Bally's (right after Band Camp) I turned the corner to go to Claridge and just when I did they had a boxing weigh-in, and here were all these 20yo or so boxers, both guys and gals, stripping down to their tighty whiteys. They had lots of seats for the press, so of course I plopped down and watched them take off their clothes, all right in the lobby.
Ballys has a nice casino and sportsbook. Not too big, not too small. Lobby bar's nice as well. Looking good!
Thanks for stopping by John!
Bally's is the most "casino like casino" in AC. It has the charm of an 80s gambling hall, with the amenities of a resort.

A fair view of my experiences! Thanks Dizzy!!!
That beach bar has always been busy. The property looks nice. Glad to see them sinking money into renovations.
Every time I visit they seem to be improving something. Thanks Joel!
Good vlog jeff. I miss atlantic city have lots of memories there with my parents
Saw lots of Kenny Roger's concets with my mom
Thanks for watching Steven!
I got to see the Price is Right there; didn't win, but they did a nice salute to Bob Barker, which is appreciated by those who love those CBS mornings
@@richardhales92 I think they still do Price is Right once and a while. I'll have to check.

Hey NY love the videos keep up the good work. Did you ever go to the Disco Fever event at Ballys? Let us know bc I have an invitation to the same show
Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos Jerry! I have a comp ticket but have yet to go. Perhaos in the next week or two.
They need to bring back the laser show at night was so awsome
Say what??! Did I miss that?
That was Boardwalk Hall. I think it stopped about 5 years ago. Very awesome!
I like meeting the Hughes'
I try to get everyone in a video but some seem a little shy!
Still waiting for that Garden Tower room review!

Was there a bally's park place casino years ago? I remember it
I believe that's actually the correct name of the current Bally's! Thanks Steven!

@@richardhales92 Yup. Boardwalk & Park Place. A pretty prestigious address (if you're playing Monopoly)!
