Very in depth video. Ballys isn't the fanciest of the casinos, but it seems to tend to show appreciation towards the low rollers, and I like that. You guys also make the visit enjoyable. Thx again.
Thank you for hanging with us! Yea we have been pleasantly surprised with the offers they have been giving us. I stopped receiving the mailers maybe I didn’t gamble enough last time! Lol The cruise giveaway was the best def worth the trip over!
Yeah I bring cleaning supplies too to clean room. Next to the pin mark was a small hair too though😳. Last time I stayed at Ballys was 2014 and their rooms were not so great then. Thanks for the video 👍
Nice Video Jennifer! Me and my gf will be in AC next month for vacation and you helped me figure out more stuff to do! I've been to AC many times and I am looking forward to checking out some of the stuff you mentioned in this video such as The Yard! Thank you! :)
How did you get in the VIP lounge at Ballys if you are not the higher level? Did you have to pay. Just asking because I will be in AC in May. Looking for new places to eat.
You should go to the Mississippi Gulf Coast they have some nice casinos there. The Beau Rivage, Hard Rock, Golden Nugget, Scarlet Pearl, Harrah's, Palace, Boomtown, IP, Treasure Bay, IP and Island View. Beau is biggest with 1800 rooms
I was there almost every weekend last year from may to september, there offers were indeed very generous (I tier matched a high card elsewhere and they gave $350 free play every single day for that may-sept period!!).. I was there when they were remodeling and opening the carousel and the yard, also when they were redoing the red paint on boardwalk doors. Its definitely not as nice as the casinos on the north side, but it just feels more "at home" inside and not as crowded... Also for slots the payout is a little bit higher from my experience.
Wow you seriously can not beat the Ballys offers. Did they give you comp rooms on weekends too!? That’s amazing! Did you get the free cruise offers? I just got back from the carnival cruise offer I received. No joke the cruise was comped. Just port taxes and fees. I agree as well there is something very warm about Ballys. Is it haunted?
@JenniferSparksSavoy Yes they stopped with big free play offers but still get weekend comp rooms, I'm actually reserved for this weekend for first time since last september.
I'm glad you made this video,my wife and I are staying at the Dennis tower in March for the night. I live about 45 minutes north of Atlantic city. My wife and I come to Atlantic city two to three times a year,I always loved the casinos and the boardwalk! Love all your videos, very detailed, and your filming is excellent! Looking forward to the next one!!!
The Claridge Hotel used to have a Del Webb Casino. Then Del Webb got out of the casino business to concentrate on real estate. Carnival is one of the better cruise lines. We like the lines that the Carnival Cruise Corp owns. Carnival was the first cruise line that has a 24-hour restaurant. The pizzeria is open 24 hours. You could get soft serve ice cream practically 24 hours too. They have a lot of things for family. Good choice of slot machines. My late wife loves slot machines. The boardwalk still looks nice. Bally's is near Caesers, Trump Plaza, used to be near there too. There was a Playboy Hotel and Casino then when they went out Trump bought it and made it into the Trump World's Fair. It was part of the Trump Plaza. If the room isn't that clean I usually complain. Then I inform the front desk I have some cleaning supplies and if I need anything else I would let them know. Then ask for a discount because, I am essentially doing their job. I only drink wine. An early morning trip to the casino might not be bad. Then a walk on the boardwalk. Caesars had a buffett, but, it wasn't that good. If you go to Las Vegas Visit Sam's Town. Not far from there on Harmon Ave. and Boulder Highway is The Longhorn.
Great video Jennifer, thank you. I'm wondering, if you park the car at the self parking area do you have to pay every time you leave and come back? Or is it a one time fee while you're staying at the hotel?
I think it's free for hotel guests anyway, otherwise it will be every time you leave unless you have upgraded tier card (which is pretty easy to obtain there).
Didn't get a cruise offer, but, have cruised a lot to Canada. A five day cruise will put you to Halifax and St. John. Go to the historic marketplace at St. John. There are lots of good places to eat at both St. John and Halifax. Been to Halifax more than any other place. All by cruise ship. Play in the casino. Learn how to play craps. A cruise ship is a good place to learn. Most of the eatries I used to love eating in aren't there anymore.
Yes! That’s exactly where we are going! Halifax and st John. Funny I was reading about the marketplace last night. I’ll def have to check it out. It’s a 5 night carnival cruise. Leaving in 2 weeks :) thanks for sharing your experience!
The first stay the offered me a room with no view in Ballys tower but I wanted to stay in the Dennis part. The second stay I requested the Ballys tower but they said it would be a additional charge. Believe it was 60 extra dollars so I just took the Dennis tower again
The Borgatas buffet is excellent. But the best food in Ballys in at Sac of Subs. If you don't mind ordering your food and sitting at the tables they have there. As a handicapped person I can not get comfortable in any of their rooms in the tower. All the furniture is too low. A handicapped person like myself who is not wheelchair bound needs high sitting. Also, the room service is understaffed and very hard to contact. If you go in the middle of the week. Most of the restaurants are closed. There is no VIP service either. When you were there, did you see the memorial to the Korean War. It is on the boardwalk right next to Ballys. We were very impressed by it.
Thank you for all the info Diane :) I have seen the memorial in passing I would def like to visit. Very special. Didn’t know that about the rooms not being suitable for people in wheel chairs. That is definitely important info. I will def have to try sad and subs! When we get get White House in hard rock we bring them to our rooms so that’s not a issue for us not having a dining room. Thanks for hanging with us :)
There was a upcharge for the Ballys tower the second night think it was 60 dollars so guess it’s up to the individual weather it’s worth it or not. Hopefully it’s cleaner! My first room in the video was very dated but clean
I've eaten at Guy Fieris Restaurant and it was horrible . Yuk . I ordered the Pulled Pork . It had a disgusting burnt smoke flavor . $ 20 . This was at Fox woods Casino. 😞
I had a odd experience at that location as well, I was very surprised! I only had a drink at the AC one. No dinner. The server was nice. Thanks for sharing your experience:)
Gives off such a nostalgic vibe to it. 90's kid here, the nostalgia is heavy 🫂♥️
That whole area does! Have you been there before? Gotta check out the pier! It’s so 80’s/90’s!
Very in depth video. Ballys isn't the fanciest of the casinos, but it seems to tend to show appreciation towards the low rollers, and I like that. You guys also make the visit enjoyable. Thx again.

Always good to have cleaning supplies with you! I didn’t notice the hair. There were several in the tub 😣 thanks for hanging with us!
glad to see vip lounge still there...great 30foot bar and view
Me too! It’s gorgeous. They were doing a breakfast Buffett there that was open to the public but they opened a cafe upstairs and don’t do it anymore
Nice Video Jennifer! Me and my gf will be in AC next month for vacation and you helped me figure out more stuff to do! I've been to AC many times and I am looking forward to checking out some of the stuff you mentioned in this video such as The Yard! Thank you! :)
Thank you very much! We enjoy the yard! Fun place :) hope you guys have a great time! Good luck in the casino 🎰
@@JenniferSparksSavoy Thank you so much!
All the beds in Are very comfortable!

Hey! It’s a breakfast Buffet that is open to everyone :)
@@JenniferSparksSavoy Thats nice!

Ballys totally half assed their renovations!
Hash a gogo in Tropicana is great and Atexcac Mexican Restaurant on the boardwalk
you have to have the pancakes at Guilchrist dinner next to trop or by the borgata!
You’re right I do! I heard they are great! Thanks for the recommendation 🥰

I'm born and raised in A.C. and you know more about Bally's than me
Prob because I make the videos. I research a lot!
My favorite restaurant is the Metropolitan at Borgata!
I went there on my last trip there for breakfast! Nice place :)
The Bellagio is in Vegas!! I think you meant Borgata, which is in the Atlantic City Marina District and their buffet is open.
Hahaha! I always make that mistake..l! Thank you for the heads up 👍😊
There's a Johnny Rockets in the casino along the boardwalk
I keep forgetting about that! Good call!

Is there a creole restaurant anywhere in Atlantic City
Sorry I don’t know that answer :(
Next time request Bally’s tower, they stuck you in the Dennis it looks like
They don’t like to book people in the Bally’s tower unless you pay extra or if they don’t have a lot of rooms booked.
The first stay the offered me a room with no view in Ballys tower but I wanted to stay in the Dennis part. The second stay I requested the Ballys tower but they said it would be a additional charge. Believe it was 60 extra dollars so I just took the Dennis tower again

Not bad, Tropicana looks like offers more
Tropicana def is bigger It’s like a whole city LOL
Scurt clar și precis vorba profei Dorobanțu
I would play at the casino, but wouldn't want to stay there.
You and G would hate the Dennis tower lol 😂 Borgata or Ocean is more your speed!
there not going to get a lot of people going to that tower.for myself the Room has to be perfect because im not...lol.
There was a upcharge for the Ballys tower the second night think it was 60 dollars so guess it’s up to the individual weather it’s worth it or not. Hopefully it’s cleaner! My first room in the video was very dated but clean

Dennis tower! Ugh
Bally’s is always dirty!! The cleaning ladies are sadly sitting in a room by the window on their phones. Yo want CLEAN GO TO CAESAR’S.
