“Into the Woods” is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel-all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch who has put a curse on them.

Colleen Atwood is such a magnificent designer! My school is performing this musical next year. And I'm the head of my school's costume department. I get to design all the costumes and this gave me so much inspiration! So excited!

Same with the witch! I mean they show the costume but they don’t talk about the type of fabric used, I can’t tell if f it’s organza with ribbons sewn in or something like that
It was inspired by the 1950s. You really notice it in the puffy sleeves and the strapped shoes

I absolutely loved Johnny’s costume!
Although the costumes are nice, I don't like the off-ness of all the different time periods.
For me it really doesn't feel like the characters fit together at all.
But still, Colleen, once again, does an awesome job with the costumes.
