I think this channel will be one of my life lines to help me through over the next few months. I want to be real again. I miss my motivation to move toward my future. I’m so sick of being in a fog of addiction and being owned by this green monster. Thank you for sharing your journal. So helpful and inspiring.
You should start tapering now for starters. Like NOW. Let me tell you, kratom withdrawal is HORROR FOR THE FIRST 1-5 Days. So start now or you will regret life.
Takes a lot of courage sharing your story When quitting kratom 5 year 60 to 80 grams everyday a scoured RUclips for videos like your for help I have quit my kratom addiction and now cear and free of all drugs I thought kratom was the "safe" drug boy oh boy was I wrong Anyway thanks for sharing it helped me and I'm sure lots of others You might not realize how sharing your story is a god send without people like you sharing your story I would not of been able to quit ....for that thankyou very much and please don't stop sharing I know your helping others....
Day 3 for me and it's going pretty good. Psychologically it's the worst. Feels like I'm not ever gonna feel normal again and I will need kratom for the rest of my life. Mentally is pretty hard too as I am extra emotional and don't want to do anything each day. I got lucky with physical withdrawls as I have had no RLS or trouble sleeping. Working out has been the best help for me
Withdrawals didn’t let up for me even a month after quitting. I ended up giving in after a week of no sleep after I ran out of thc gummies. Now I’m taking a tiny fraction of what I was taking before so I guess that’s a win. I was taking approx 20g a day everyday over the last 6 years. My world revolved around taking kratom. Now it’s more of an afterthought. I’ve come to accept that what has been done over years cannot be undone in a few weeks. Stay strong friends.
I took 60 to 80 grams a day for 5 years Insomnia diarrhea restless legs stomach discomfort joint pain watery eyes blurred vision runny nose zero heat regulation were just a few of the symptoms I had After 7 days cold turkey I was able to finally get a couple hours sleep and it got better everyday after that and by the end of 2 weeks I was getting a good night sleep I recommend super dosing vitamin C I took 6000mgs a day and exercised daily Good luck friend go through it you've earned it and will own it your much stronger then you think tell kratom to f@#koff
What i did was take straight stem and vein for a month or so prior. I ordered a bunch of capsules and through away everything except my red vein capsules and stem and vein powder. I realized that taking 15-20 capsules at a time 4-5x a day is disgusting and probably bad for your stomach. So I took stem and vein during the day and if I woke up at night I took whatever would let me sleep again. I took 1g agmatine 2x day, black seed oil, magnesium and vitamin c. On day 1 I took 500mg of phenibut when I woke up at 4am and went back to sleep. Then took 1mg of Xanax at bedtime and slept 8 hours. I took .5 of clonidine a few times this week. I quit a week ago and barely experienced any withdrawal. I feel stupid for even bringing it up to my psychiatrist now.
beware, you might have tapered right. but just keep in mind that you can get some paws, like when you think you won against the WDs and then you get couple bad days in a row right after. It happens quite often, if that happens just know that the depression will go away again.
@@liltunturi1251 yeah I believe you. To be honest I have ADHD and if I felt great prior to kratom I wouldn't have chased such a mediocre drug for so long
High doses of Gabapentin help with the withdrawal, but don't do it for more than a few days or a week or you'll get addicted to that and it has withdrawals that are bad too. Just saying.
Read some posts r/leaves and that'l change your mind. Going from one addiction to another is never a good idea and I've seen half of my friends drop out from school and become zombies who just work boring jobs to pay for weed to get high everyday. Weed addiction is not as benign as it seems
You are core addict, i get it. trading one thing for another has been the story of my life too . however our mind and bodys will never heal as long as we're chasing artificial dopamine, and it generaly always comes back full circle to us using our substance of choice .. wish it wasn't so
@@aurtherowner4697 I believe you. I threw away everything except CBD. I am gonna try and make it to Halloween without smoking. I ordered some CBD dabs to replace it. Gonna be interesting. I'm trying the NAC that seems to have studies to prevent cravings.
When I quit Kratom for a month I immediately quit weed. The weed was way harder not to use but the Kratom withdrawal made me feel garbage. All in all weed is harder to quit for me and that’s wild lol. I have bounced on and off both over the year but I’m on day 3 of hopefully my final Kratom quit lol. Hopefully I can get to smoking once weekly and I’ll be cool with that. Don’t use either often and don’t use one to quit the other ❤
This convinced me to just cold turkey again. I quit for a month 2 years ago and the restlessness for five days was by far the worst symptom I remember. I was thinking about tapering this time around, but if you taper and still have restlessness than just quitting cold turkey seems like less pain for a shorter span.
I am on day 4 feeling better, but am lacking motivation, and feel depressed still. I can’t wait to be normal again! Never again. Stay strong out there!

So today is day 7 and I'm considering going back to quit weed cause it was easier than quitting weed for me. Tell me how stupid this is

Kratom in indonesia very cheap 😅, im from indonesia
The quittingkratom subreddit has been amazing for me.

Cold turkey is worse for the first couple days but tapering for me just prolongs the anxiety symptoms. It is all or nothing for me
