    I have been massively addicted to kratom for three years. Addicted to extract shots at that. At times I was taking 4 a day. Spending almost $80 a day on this crap. Strung out and unable to stop. I had an extreme scare yesterday. I was about one second away from having a seizure. I had not dosed and the shop didn’t have my usual shot. I took a Super K shot. It took me two sips and it was nasty as usual. Felt ill immediately. About twenty minutes later I was trembling. Then I lost my ability to walk. I could not walk for an hour and my heart was going crazy. I was one second away from calling 911. My body was too weak to stand and there is no way I could walk. This stuff can be fatal. A seizure can kill. I got lucky. This stuff is NOT harmless and HIGHLY ADDICTIVE. Stay away from this shit!!

    Just folded in day 2 of wd. Going to taper more and try again next week. Not even trying to get high - just function... Having gotten thru heroin and buprenorphine wd - kratom is no joke. My opioid receptors are shot and this kratom is the final frontier. Trying to stay positive and exorcise this dragon out of me - that's what appears in my minds eye anyways... Peace

    Hey Nolan, were you experiencing near constant anxiety while on Kratom towards the end? Also, did you get brown/yellowish dark circles under eyes? Like your skin under your eyes started darkening and turning an ugly color?

    • @Nolanwrites
      @Nolanwrites 10 дней назад

      Hey! Thanks for asking. I can definitely comment on the anxiety, as someone close to me was experiencing a lot of it towards the end of their use (they mentioned that it was pretty crippling) and I've heard a lot of stories about people getting it pretty bad with long term use. As far as the skin and eyes, I would definitely go and see your doctor if you're able to - just cause I'm not a doctor and don't wanna point you in the wrong direction. Good luck, and I hope everything turns out alright. Come on back if you decide to quit and make sure to reach out if you need support.

Haha I literally typed this right before you said “adjustment periods!” Also I’m a big believer in the capsule taper. Seen someone go from fent addiction to heavy liquid extract with powder and then to capsules and then slowly down and are down to 5 capsules per dose right now and seem to be doing great! And finished tapering before long. Trust the process. Thank you!

And I would just be really happy to be able to talk with someone that already went through it and describe my situation better to you and be able to share my progress and stuff with you because there isnt really anyone i could share it with I don’t want to bother my friends and I cant tell my parents yk. Kratom provided a reboot for my mobility, allowing me to spend the day exploring the zoo with my granddaughter on her third birthday last month. I no longer need a walker or wheelchair yet I still have pain 24/7. I find my pain extremely manageable now. I spent over 4 hours with her at the zoo with my granddaughter, a place where my children had to push me around in a wheelchair. But thanks to kratom, I’ve regained my mobility-no more wheelchair or walker. I can enjoy life again. While I’ve regained so much, I find myself dedicating over 30 hours a week to fighting for something that shouldn’t be a battle-my right to kratom. For over a decade, kratom has been a lifeline, easing the daily pain of fibromyalgia, spinal stenosis, arthritis, frayed meniscus, sciatica, and rotator cuff tendonopathy, when nothing else worked. I was once reliant on a walker and wheelchair, prescribed the highest dose of fentanyl patches just to get through the day. But now, I’ve found a way to manage my pain and reclaim my life. It’s frustrating that instead of just enjoying this new lease on life, I have to keep advocating-sharing the science, pushing back against misconceptions, and fighting my own government to keep this natural supplement available. My story isn’t unique, and there are 20 MILLION others who benefit from kratom. We shouldn’t have to spend so much time defending something that has already given us our lives back.

    I have been taking 30 gpd for 7 years. My household depends on me to keep things going. I start yawning and getting horrible muscle aches and twitches if I go 6 or more hours without. But it is draining so much of my life to stay on it. I have to get off somehow…. The money, the secrecy, the KNOWING I am damaging my body. Have to pee all the time, wake up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat, sometimes 3 times a night. Taking kratom doesn’t even “do” anything for me, other than keeping withdrawals at bay. Please pray for me, I am too embarrassed to admit this to folks IRL.

    Nolan you know what helps is getting an enema bag and doing that the day before you quit and then the first and second day, also if you have a sauna which I did at home I went in my sauna first thing in the morning and it took away the sweats and chills. Still a mind / emotional roller coaster of feeling like you will never be normal again. That sucks but it will pass I know it will. It has too. Valerian root helped , passionflower helped, kava (only on emergency) , ibuprofen no more then 2x a day, I took scoops of vitamin c powder taking up to 10000 mg a day, drinking mag/calcium supplement. Drinking more than the normal dosage too. I also tried murcunus pruienes (the velvet bean) only for the first 3 days. I took 1000mg once a day on that. Plus I laid a lot in my infrared sauna and watched you tube videos like this for distracting. Going outside sitting in the sun and forcing sneezing cause it made me feel better 🤷🏻‍♀️ all I can say is I will never go back. There is nothing in the world worth the false feeling of happiness. Not worth it. You start to not do best at work, sex drive goes, the hiding of it sucks, missing out on events and missing out on your children suck. Just quit!!!! Thank you for your great video. ❤
