I just received my 100 w folding blanket today . I have also plugged in a kick ass battery analyser . I am getting constant 78 w through and 5.65 ah . The only I do not understand are the controls on the PWN and how to use them . Can you please explain them in simple terms . Thanks
My panel started to crack and split after having it for only 12 months.I didn't do anything to cause this and made sure it was dry and clean etc. Called itechworld to gain the cause and emailed in the images of the damage. The response after 2 days of waiting was it was out of warranty. They couldn't explain let alone care less. Went with another brand and now happy at half the cost. Don't be fooled by their marketing either as I don't believe their products are all what they claim them to be.
Well I am very happy with my iTech 300 watters and I reckon I was getting a higher percentage return on mine (under ideal conditions). But certainly quality products for sure. As the old adage goes, "ya gets what yas pays for" never rang more true. Can we use that code for other iTech World products? I'm going to grab one of those 300W battery jumper thingies.
Yeah mate, the second link should take to the website for anything you want. I just copy and pasted it to be be sure 👌🤟 Use the link and then add the code at checkout 🍻
Yeah I've since tested a few other panels of similar power and there's a compromise somewhere which I guess is what you would probably look at. This panel is a stronger build quality made for being used in the outdoors where others won't withstand the environmental aswell but may have a better return either initially or once they heat up will get a compromised return. All the best with your decision and appreciate you checking us out 👍
Great episode, enjoyed the content but you didn't mention the voltage of your batteries. The numbers seem a little underwhelming im only guessing your batteries were nearly full.
Ahh yeah good shout! Didn't even think of it, Camper is agms which were between 65-85% and the paj being lithium was anywhere from 40-80%. Vastly different numbers at sth lefroy vs in Perth and even Kalbarri for eg. I'll be doing something similar in maybe march and see how it goes and has been. The variation was pretty big but haven't seen the performance in a different time of year so quietly curious 🍻
hi plugged a mates new 200w Itech in and my stent said 11.2 amps 156watts from 80% to 99% late Jan 2024. 200km south of Perth was using all itech gear batt ,reg 40amp dcdc to a 100 ah super slim and like every panel I have ever met you only get .75 % of its rating your a lot less so if you won't 200 watts buy the 300watt so I will be getting one ❤❤❤
Balistic nylon = bullet proof. Camer operators in war zones use balistic nylon or kevla kit bags. They can take cover behind their equipment when the bullets start to fly. Im sure you won't need that, but it does mean the panels are very well protected.
Not bullet proof. Ballistic refers to the weave. Would need Kevlar, ceramic or steel layers to be bullet proof.. I wouldn’t hide behind my solar panel bag if the bullets were flying.
I have the 200watt itech for 5 or so years. Never got 200 watts out of it. I also have an ebay 350 watt never had 200 watts out of it lol. I'm going to spend the extra and just buy a renogy 200 watt panel see if i can actually get 200 watts out of a "real" solar panel. Its a cheaper way to learn than 20k on roof top solar i guess. A lot of this solar world is shady lol.
You can get an extra 5% off using GAA5 at www.itechworld.com.au on the upto 85% off EOFS sale! That's upto 90% off! 🍻
Thanks for sharing, this is very helpful and informative. I already have their 20W solar blanket and want to upgrade to a bigger one.
Yeah it's been 6 months now and still doing the job, thanks for the taking the time to drop a comment 👍

@@reddyman6915 I actually haven't used the pwm controller to be honest because I have a controller in the dcdc charger, apologies 😕

Yeah that sucks mate, I'd be disappointed as well. Hopefully your current panels are working well for you 🍻

Greeat, I have solar panels too and they also very usedful. Can introduce to you
Oh yeah what are they? 😊
hmm for the price i think you would expect a bit closer to 200w, was looking at this panel but might keep looking

That's a win for sure, don't forget the discount code mate 🍻
Another great video thanks matey.
Thanks and welcome as always 😊
Pretty underwellming for a 200w panel. heers for the test.
No probs mate 🍻

@smled9256 if you had nothing else to hide behind then your little solar panel bag would be between you and flying bullets. You would make sure it.

Yeah they rate off absolute perfect case opportunity, but in reality we are unlikely to ever experience it ourselves 😁
For a 200w that's pretty crap amps wise I am getting 14 to 15 off an ebay one
Yeah 14-15 is pretty impressive 👌
You're data could get better with mppt. Pwm aren't great
@@powertvau when it's plugged into the Camper Trailer it's using MPPT via dcdc 👍
@@gettingaroundaus that's why it's higher. But solar blanket loses watt's 200w might get get to 160watts so good test though
Payed video from Itech 🤔
@@motobandits5338 wish I was paid mate 😂
