There’s also a movie apparently with Dianne Argon and Tenoch Huerta [the actor for Namor as you all should know by now], and it’d also be kinda cool to see Namor in a Fantastic Four movie, as well interacting with Invisible Woman herself) Garrett Hedlund as Johnny Storm (all he needs to is get the yellowy blonde hair that Johnny has in the comics, along with making sure he can nail comedy, and then he’ll be the perfect fit) Domenick Lombardozzi as Ben Grimm (All he has to do is also do a good job at comedy, and then he’ll be the perfect Ben Grimm. Here’s my personal fancasting for the Fantastic Four Reed Richards: My first pick is John Krasinski of course since we already saw him in Multiverse of Madness and it’s just perfect fancasting, but at this point, Marvel never said anything about him coming back. So, with that said, my second choice is Penn Badgley. I just feel like he would do a great job pulling off the whole “smartest man alive” vibes, and maybe be a smartass like Tony Stark is, but still be very heroic Sue Storm: If they bring Krasinski back, I’d love for Emily Blunt to play her. If they don’t, my number one choice is Jodie Comer. She’s pretty and blonde, but I feel like she’ll add a certain “mousiness” and insecurity to Sue Storm, as a metaphor for why she would end up being “invisible”. Although, if they cast Penn Badgley for Reed, I’d love for Blake Lively to play Sue, then we could have a Gossip Girl reunion, LOL Johnny Storm: Rudy Pankow. I mean, have y’all seen Outer Banks? He practically plays Johnny Storm when he plays JJ in that show, very funny, and a very hotheaded personality. I think it is just perfect casting. Plus, he did technically co-Star with Tom Holland in the Uncharted movie, so he could interact very well with Spider-Man Ben Grimm: Either Jason Segel or John Cena. Jason Segel is a popular fancast choice that I agree with, but I feel like John Cena looks the part and can play the part of the “big guy with a big heart” of the group (then again, I can also see John Cena play a potential MCU Flint Marko) Finally, if Adam Driver wasn’t already heavily rumored for Reed Richards, he would be an amazing Victor Von Doom. Interesting, I have been thining for a while that Paul Mescal should play Cyclops and Daisy Edgar Jones should play Jean Grey( I could also see her playing Kitty Pryde), both have good chemsity in Good People. Also interesting hearing the rumour of Antonio Banderas playing Galactus. I have been thinking for a while that Keith David would be great choice to voice Galactus.

I have to be honest, I'm personally not feeling Driver and Robbie in this cast, maybe not the right chemistry together or the right fit for these roles. At the end of the day they need to really nail this story above everything else. Slightly concerned with this project that we still don't have a cast nailed down.
jgl as reed richards is a revelation to me!! now that i’ve heard it, i want nothing else!! especially since we were denied seeing him as robin in the christoper nolan batman trilogy. margot robbie would be brilliant, but i would miss her harley too much. i’ve always thought emma stone or emma watson would play sue well. zac efron. yes. yes please. so much yes. LOVE joel edgerton!! he was incredible in the underground railroad, smokin aces, & loving. HUGE fan and am here for that fan cast!! my brain refuses to let go of my own fantastic four fan cast of john krasinski as reed, (hear me out with this) gabrielle union as sue, john boyega as johnny, and i could never pin down who i wanted as ben. this was stunning!
Fantastic 4 has been the casting Saga I've been the most invested in. The whole cast of characters is super special to me. I really think Driver is a great pick and while the other two are kind of question marks in my opinion. There needs to be massive chemistry between all of them. That to me is key. Once one of them is cast it all has to be about chemistry. I'm still crossing my fingers Henry Cavill takes on Doom. You have to believe that Doom is vain and petty and I think Cavill really could pull that off.
Hey Coy. Love your commentaries on all things comics. Hopefully you get a chance to see this and possibly do a video on it. I was wondering about your thoughts on one of the MCU problems being that it currently has no face or leader of the Avengers. Something that not only Stark and Cap provided but RDJ and Chris Evans did as well. THEREFORE, I was wondering who YOU see as leading and being the face from here on out. I think this is important because as they cast the FF and eventually the X men, it's important to not just fill the role with a talented actors but someone who we see and relate too also. That is what I feel is missing with Brie Larson/ Capt Marvel. I predict the FACE of the MCU moving on will be Mr. Fantastic to take the Capt America role, Sue Storm to take on the Black WIdow role, Wolverine to take on the Iron Man role and eventually Jean Grey to take on Scarlett Witches role. I LOVEE the thought of Saoirse Ronan in the MCU. But I would wait on her to be Jean Grey. I think she is SO DAMN Talented and the female equivalent of Timothee Chalamet right now. Those two are going to take over Hollywood within the decade. But anywho....wondering if you can talk about 1) who will be the faces/leaders of the MCU? 2) Why it needs to be them going forward 3) How will the stories move forward with them as the centerpieces. Thanks hope this comment finds you. PS: I hope they do Cyclops right in the future man. I see him being another Capt America-like figure too.
In short - I think the X-Men will be the Avengers esque force going forward. And Cyclops and storm Will be the MCU figureheads. But I’ll try and make a longer video at some point. Agreed tho! A focal point is needed (Iman Vellani and Florence Pugh + hailee Steinfeld young avengers!)

But then again, I think her story will be stronger and the mcu will connect better as a whole if Black Panther is still around and recasted. So there's that dilemma. I'm not feeling any of the Young Avengers yet. I just don't feel any attachment to any of the phase 4 characters yet. And when the Xmen and FF do come around, I see the young avengers characters being almost the B team. Maybe like how we thought about the Guardians team when they first showed up. And no phase 4 project right now has a James Gunn type director to lead that in my opinion. The reason why I asked is I believe on the reel rejects channel, you did a video on something like predictions on where the mcu would go based on the given material at the time. thought it was awesome and excellent. btw MCU will milk this xmen puppy. I’m with you on all of these choices. Especially Keanu as SS, Ethan Suplee as The Thing and Zac Efron as the Human Torch. However, when it comes to who actually will be playing these roles I’m now imagining them on screen with Adam Driver and if they fit together on screen. As he seems to be the only for sure casting at this point. I would be genuinely be surprised if Margot Robbie is Sue Storm cause it’s hard for me to imagine her working as a love interest with Adam Driver. Mila Kunis would seem to fit a lot better with him. I think it would look better on screen. Unfortunately I don’t think Zac Efron and Adam Driver on screen together works, for whatever reason it just feels like a lot. Paul Mescal feels right, I could see him on screen with Driver and Kunis. I don’t think it matters all that much for The Thing with it being a mostly CGI role, so now I’m gonna be sad if it isn’t Suplee because I hadn’t thought of him as an option yet and I think he’s perfect lol. Good stuff as always though my man!

Reed Richards: My first pick is John Krasinski of course since we already saw him in Multiverse of Madness and it’s just perfect fancasting, but at this point, Marvel never said anything about him coming back. So, with that said, my second choice is Penn Badgley. I just feel like he would do a great job pulling off the whole “smartest man alive” vibes, and maybe be a smartass like Tony Stark is, but still be very heroic
Sue Storm: If they bring Krasinski back, I’d love for Emily Blunt to play her. If they don’t, my number one choice is Jodie Comer. She’s pretty and blonde, but I feel like she’ll add a certain “mousiness” and insecurity to Sue Storm, as a metaphor for why she would end up being “invisible”. Although, if they cast Penn Badgley for Reed, I’d love for Blake Lively to play Sue, then we could have a Gossip Girl reunion, LOL
Johnny Storm: Rudy Pankow. I mean, have y’all seen Outer Banks? He practically plays Johnny Storm when he plays JJ in that show, very funny, and a very hotheaded personality. I think it is just perfect casting. Plus, he did technically co-Star with Tom Holland in the Uncharted movie, so he could interact very well with Spider-Man
Ben Grimm: Either Jason Segel or John Cena. Jason Segel is a popular fancast choice that I agree with, but I feel like John Cena looks the part and can play the part of the “big guy with a big heart” of the group (then again, I can also see John Cena play a potential MCU Flint Marko)
Finally, if Adam Driver wasn’t already heavily rumored for Reed Richards, he would be an amazing Victor Von Doom. I would also nominate Cillian Murphy for the part

Interesting, I have been thining for a while that Paul Mescal should play Cyclops and Daisy Edgar Jones should play Jean Grey( I could also see her playing Kitty Pryde), both have good chemsity in Good People. Also interesting hearing the rumour of Antonio Banderas playing Galactus. I have been thinking for a while that Keith David would be great choice to voice Galactus.

Thanks Coy (aka Zebra man - you were hilarious Friday night)! Wow JGL 🤯 , Jodie Comer, Viggo and Joel would be a fantastic cast (pun intended). I have to be honest, I'm personally not feeling Driver and Robbie in this cast, maybe not the right chemistry together or the right fit for these roles. At the end of the day they need to really nail this story above everything else. Slightly concerned with this project that we still don't have a cast nailed down.

Fantastic 4 has been the casting Saga I've been the most invested in. The whole cast of characters is super special to me. I really think Driver is a great pick and while the other two are kind of question marks in my opinion. There needs to be massive chemistry between all of them. That to me is key. Once one of them is cast it all has to be about chemistry. I'm still crossing my fingers Henry Cavill takes on Doom. You have to believe that Doom is vain and petty and I think Cavill really could pull that off.

Hey Coy. Love your commentaries on all things comics. Hopefully you get a chance to see this and possibly do a video on it.
I was wondering about your thoughts on one of the MCU problems being that it currently has no face or leader of the Avengers. Something that not only Stark and Cap provided but RDJ and Chris Evans did as well. THEREFORE, I was wondering who YOU see as leading and being the face from here on out.
I think this is important because as they cast the FF and eventually the X men, it's important to not just fill the role with a talented actors but someone who we see and relate too also. That is what I feel is missing with Brie Larson/ Capt Marvel.
I predict the FACE of the MCU moving on will be Mr. Fantastic to take the Capt America role, Sue Storm to take on the Black WIdow role, Wolverine to take on the Iron Man role and eventually Jean Grey to take on Scarlett Witches role. I LOVEE the thought of Saoirse Ronan in the MCU. But I would wait on her to be Jean Grey. I think she is SO DAMN Talented and the female equivalent of Timothee Chalamet right now. Those two are going to take over Hollywood within the decade.
But anywho....wondering if you can talk about 1) who will be the faces/leaders of the MCU? 2) Why it needs to be them going forward 3) How will the stories move forward with them as the centerpieces. Thanks hope this comment finds you.
PS: I hope they do Cyclops right in the future man. I see him being another Capt America-like figure too.
In short - I think the X-Men will be the Avengers esque force going forward. And Cyclops and storm Will be the MCU figureheads. But I’ll try and make a longer video at some point. Agreed tho! A focal point is needed (Iman Vellani and Florence Pugh + hailee Steinfeld young avengers!)
@@CoyJandreau Awesome! yeah you're great. ohh I forgot about Storm. But then again, I think her story will be stronger and the mcu will connect better as a whole if Black Panther is still around and recasted. So there's that dilemma. I'm not feeling any of the Young Avengers yet. I just don't feel any attachment to any of the phase 4 characters yet. And when the Xmen and FF do come around, I see the young avengers characters being almost the B team. Maybe like how we thought about the Guardians team when they first showed up. And no phase 4 project right now has a James Gunn type director to lead that in my opinion.
The reason why I asked is I believe on the reel rejects channel, you did a video on something like predictions on where the mcu would go based on the given material at the time. thought it was awesome and excellent.

I’m with you on all of these choices. Especially Keanu as SS, Ethan Suplee as The Thing and Zac Efron as the Human Torch.
However, when it comes to who actually will be playing these roles I’m now imagining them on screen with Adam Driver and if they fit together on screen. As he seems to be the only for sure casting at this point.
I would be genuinely be surprised if Margot Robbie is Sue Storm cause it’s hard for me to imagine her working as a love interest with Adam Driver. Mila Kunis would seem to fit a lot better with him. I think it would look better on screen. Unfortunately I don’t think Zac Efron and Adam Driver on screen together works, for whatever reason it just feels like a lot. Paul Mescal feels right, I could see him on screen with Driver and Kunis.
I don’t think it matters all that much for The Thing with it being a mostly CGI role, so now I’m gonna be sad if it isn’t Suplee because I hadn’t thought of him as an option yet and I think he’s perfect lol.
