    To feel motivated to get back to life again with pppd and the horrible sensations I have is hard, when I go out and expose myself to do things I find the next day I’m so exhausted by it, and that part is where I get stuck with not wanting to do things or going out because I don’t like the exhausted feeling …. But I think this video is one I’ll need to watch over and over to get it into my brain! Thank you

      I used to feel horrible either right after or the next day and then after months of doing this work I realized I no longer felt that way. I still feel shitty sometimes while I’m doing stuff but no longer after.

    I did most things now but the one thing that still frightens me is the idea of a really long trip with a big time change to see the other side of the world (like Australia or Asia). So maybe I need to make this happen at some point! The final horizon!

    So today i did some exposure and went driving on a somewhat uncomfortable route. Mind you, I was already feeling like crap. I didn’t even walk much or anything and I had the worst symptoms ever. My legs and arms are so weak, the headache is still there and I feel so burned out I can’t even get up and brush my teeth. What the heck happened!

    IM STUCK 😢!! All of my symptoms feel like death, sensations of fainting is horrendous, this full body nerve pain. 10 MRI’s dozens of blood work with no results and I am simply stuck. I am understanding the message for sure but it’s so hard to do. I am on the verge of losing my job because of this, my wife wants a divorce because of this, I am going to have to sell my dream house because of this. It’s unbelievable how my world is crumbling in front of my eyes. Just writing this brings me to tears.

      Sounds to me that you’re not so much stuck, you’re fighting against yourself and your fears. I’ve been there too but taking deliberate action in the right direction will start to pull changes towards you. Also, sometimes things have to fall apart to rebuild. It can be scary for sure, but you’ve got to do it!

    I have muscle pain in my legs... should I go climb a mountain next to my house? It seems that these pains are a direct result of chronic stress. I am wondering if this is the right approach.

    • @thepainpt
      @thepainpt  Год назад +1

      yes you can if this is stress related. But you may get a kickup in symptoms during or afterwards that you need to deal with in the right way so you dont boom and bust

    • @peterwu8471
      @peterwu8471 Год назад

      @@thepainpt Yeah - that's the issue - 1) Doctors can't ever confirm that the problem is only stress but they couldn't find a cause after extensive testing 2) I climbed the hill about 2 weeks ago and was discouraged by the increase in pain. That said, I will climb it every day if it means I can prove to my mind it doesn't need to hurt me any more.

    Are Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and POTS (diagnosed by a doctor) possible TMS??😅

    • @iWaveKatie
      @iWaveKatie 8 месяцев назад +1

      Not possible but definite TMS; they are classic mind-body symptoms, and I'm speaking as a 40-year veteran. I wish had known this stuff back then. At first these teachings were just about back pain, and gradually the Sarno-community has been realizing that ALL these things are TMS and possibly even the more "popular" or "classic" diagnoses. I used these methods to completely get rid of many of these mystery illnesses and I'm still working on it. Jim is giving the classic Sarno teaching that really works. ♾🌊❤
