Great video! I tried the FBW version for a few months...but with all the updates, thrust recalibration...and my not being an aviation guru.... I uninstalled FBW and have been using the default and couldn't be happier! I'm not looking for an exact pilot experience. I just want to know the basics to get up in the air....travel to my destination and land via ILS (preferred). The default gives me that. Cheers!
This is my experiance as well….quick question, can you just use the in game flight plan (instead of sim brief and all that) and what about weight and balance etc, do you have to enter all that?
Great video. I had an ok experience with the new mod. had only a couple of issues: mcdu data was incomplete (I let msfs build my flight plan before i loaded onto the gate). Also lost my nav points and flight path on the navigation screen towards the last 20 minutes of my flight. Looks and sounds good thought. If FBW uploads an update, I'll try it again.
FBW are updating it every day on the dev build. MCDU is probably correct you can load from simbrief and I would rather than use the MSFS FP builder, but even then you still have to select your SID and STAR (according to RL pilots, this is what they have to do even after loading a company plan). The bugs you mention about the end of the flight is a known MSFS issue and FBW are working on it.
Not really possible without a mouse to hit the dozens of buttons you'll need just to do a pre landing checklist, flight sim folks typically use the entire keyboard with each key bound to a different function and those that really go out of their way for realism build button panels and have extra screens to accommodate instruments. The xbox is great for GA VFR stuff and enjoying the awesome scenery but as soon as you get into the nitty gritty of flight simulation it kinda falls apart because it doesn't let you install third party stuff like ATC functionality. (yet)
@@yarharyar I just want to test my knowledge here. the stuff to check are: flaps auto brake spoilers autoland feature which has ap1 and ap2 (if you want to use it) landing lights landing gear go around altitude ready and set throttle to Climb and idle before touching ground flight plan and approach procedure Weather at destination input is that all ? I know im missing something here
My "niche" is that I basically only fly GA, but I still found this very interesting!

Great comparison! For me flybywire is beter, because the sounds are better and it has more different options and a tablet. So it feels more realistic.
Great video! ❤️
Glad you liked it!!
You should give the working title CJ4 a try a well :)
Hey I'm buying 4 simmers liveries for the asobo a320neo but I only have the default somebody please tell me that the asobo one is the default one.
Nice video
Thanks Casper!
Hmmm chunky relay sounds.
hey, do you have a link of download of the default a320neo livery that you use on the video?
I wish theres a way you could implement the FBW version to xbox
