I'm trying to figure out why both of them aren't recording those phone calls, then suing the shit out of the girl. Both the girl and the mom admitted multiple times what she did.
@@Devillinone party consent isn't universal. In a lot of places it would be more illegal to record them without their consent than for them to have stolen the money.

@@ruffboiALT That's if you record a conversation. Text messages are no different than if someone wrote a confession letter - it's in writing. A text is permanent and the sender KNOWS that the text is being saved to a phone, therefore the two-party threshold is already crossed.
It’s honestly not a big surprise. Someone stole 100k from someone. Nope, they can’t help cause it’s civil matter. Someone cut down several trees illegally? Nope, they can’t help cause it’s civil matter. Someone unalive so many people in cold blood. Nope, they can’t help cause it’s civil matter. Sarcasm aside….why rely on the pigs in blue when they never do anything about it….?
Unfortunately without actual proof, there is nothing that the cops can do. Some of you really need to understand civil matters because it's not the fault of the police. If the son had the camera in his room showing her stealing his money then she would have been arrested for theft. The moment the mother lied for her daughter it became a he said, she said matter. However, he can sue her in civil court and the text message could win his case. Most people don't like this route because it's time consuming but it's the best option.
The one consolation is that the father has a loving relationship with Jason, while his wife will suffer from having an entitled daughter, and you know there will be trouble ahead. They deserve each other. Karma!
They both know that even losing stuff or people does not affect their support for eachother. The thieves easily swap true love and loyalty for money. In the long term they will lose everyone who is worthy of anything. The boy will hopefully see his friends dad later in time.
I think that OP''s final update of his ex moving in with a guy from his work that he suspects she was ALREADY cheating with might be foreshadowing on how things will go with her next. If We've seen in other Reddit stories "if they'll cheat with you, they'll be fine to cheat ON you." Pretty sure that OP's soon to be Ex will realize that her looks will fade & she doesn't exactly have a winning personality. It's entirely possible that the soon to be Ex might have SENT her daughter to snoop for something to take to cause this if she was already having relations with someone else. As far as the daughter goes, stealing from her sweet 17 year old brother was a "Richard Relocation" but he's not the type to retaliate. If she keeps up stealing, she might find her next victim either having better luck with police involvement, or being the kind or person who will take things into their own hands INSTEAD of calling law enforcement.
@@UserEmusic2 at the very least he'll be able to Skype with his Late Friend's Dad, even if the Dad doesn't understand how to use technology well enough, Jason's friends can act as Tech Support to let them talk.
I'm pretty sure if someone did something to her even OLDER daughter OP's soon to be Ex will have a VERY different view on how Grown Ups need to accept what happens to them. Frankly the daughter needs to learn that there are consequences too, & if there aren't going to be Legal ones, someday she might cross someone who'll show her consequences OUTSIDE of the law.
Story 3: that story almost had me in tears with how hurt that boy must be. For those who are saying to just move on they don’t know what they’re talking about.
Jason has a great dad. Just because hes almost grown doesnt mean he deserves to be robbed by a full grown adult woman. Kelly is the most disgusting person and i hope when she inevitably steals from a partner or roommate she goes to jail
Honestly what OP and Jason should do is text Kelly and the ex demanding that they return the money. Get them in writing admitting that they stole not only Jason's money, but also OP's furniture. It'll make things that much easier when they either press charges or seek a settlement in the divorce hearing.
One of these days, that brat is going to steal from the wrong person and neither her nor her mother will be able to talk their way out of it. If they're lucky they'll just have to learn how to wipe their butts with no fingers.
Story 3: let me start by saying I feel so bad for Jason not just bc of the theft but bc i lost my BFF when i wasnt much older than him. for all the people that were saying Jason is almost an adult and blah blah blah, well Kelly IS an adult so where's HER accountability? Why isn't she being told to grow tf up and own up to what she did. By the sound of it her mother has been lying and covering for her her entire life which is doing her no favors. Since they both have been admitting that she did in fact steal the money OP and his son need to start recording each time they have contact with them.
Story 3 - My heart goes out to OP’s son. Hopefully everything works out better for OP and his son and that Kelly and her witch of a mother get served a BIG dose of Karma with no one to help them.
Story 3 is so aggravating, especially with the awful people both flat out admitting it was stolen to taunt the kid near the end. The fact that admit she stole it to taunt him and can get away with saying they didnt id very frustrating
Story 3: "Why does he get to have all the money?" says the person who burns away money like it's nothing, and stealing from the person that has a job. Ex-Wife basically has a Golden Child mentality where she always sides with K, and the effects culminated in a dead marriage. K will eventually have to be on her own, and she won't be able to crawl back
K, her daughter will sleep with the co worker she is living with and they will both keep the mother out on her butt. screw those two witches. Karma will come for the daughter after she steals from the co worker she sleep with and he has her arrested.......
@@gorilladisco9108 one can hope. I wouldn't be surprised if the coworker that OP's Ex moved in with cheats with SOMEONE, after all we've seen it enough times in Reddit stories that it's become it's own saying; If they'll cheat WITH you, they'll fine with cheating ON you given the chance. The Daughter might be the type to be willing to make a move for a Sugar Daddy if the coworker has deep enough pockets to satisfy her.
I think it's more of an evil stepmother mentality, that she will always view Jason as lesser because he's not HER child. It was only a matter of time before a conflict like this occurred.
Story 3 those people saying that Jasonneeds to grow up are forgetting that he worked all summer to save that money. I would say that is pretty mature of him. He didn’t steal it from anyone. He isn’t the one who needs to grow up, way to blame the victim.
Those are entitled people who want to justify that behavior. It is plain and simple, they don't see anything wrong and want OP to quit exposing their own beliefs as wrong. Ironically if they get robbed the smallest penny, they would throw a huge enormous tantrum over it.
This one bugged the crap outta me, and man, I really feel for this dude. I went digging on Reddit and found some more updates in lots of other areas. He HAS filed charges against K for theft (YES!!!) and he said his lawyer told him with all his evidence that it "should be a slam dunk" Unfortunately, in the meantime, while he got his dream job, he's still not making enough to support himself and his son comfortably, has been denied food stamps and when he went to the food pantry, they gave him moldy rotten food. When he went back to ask them if it was a mistake, and could he get it replaced, the lady banned him from the pantry and said food never goes rotten and if you think it does, you aren't really hungry are you. WTF? I pray this guy gets a break soon. :(
My mom goes to a place near us that gives food out every single week. Not once have they not given us moldy food. Usually it's fruit or veggies but still, it's clearly moldy and this is EVERY SINGLE WEEK. Those people are doing a job and some care and some don't but the truth is it's poor people asking for free food so who can really complain??? I'm not attacking people for needing the food, trust me I've been poor my whole life. Poverty levels the majority of it. I'm just saying that the saying beggers don't get to be choosers is real 🤷♀️
Story 1 - Police should be called for the dumping of the trash and got them for littering since none of it was usable. And if she touched anyone have her also charged for assault.
I've worked at Goodwill. If I did that, I'd be fired. Even if my boss, the head of donations, said that I could I'd still get fired by the execs. We could refuse to take it, but had no way of stopping people from just dumping it out front for us to deal with.
@@DoctorOaks I work at The Goodwill and we literally have a sign that says dumping items can lead to prosecution. My boss does not allow people to do that shit. And thankfully the execs back her.
@@DoctorOaks yeah, unfortunately due to the fact that they are not all connected, they are run differently. That’s why I when I see people claim that all Goodwill‘s bale the sale color before it even gets a chance to be sold is ridiculous. We only bale the sale color on Saturdays/Sundays or if there is no room at all and we have to clear out space.
Yeah a trashy youtuber would just "clear up" her place and dump all the broken and unbroken old stuff in front of Goodwill while they were closed instead of going to the dump.
Story #3: I honestly am so enraged; it didn’t happen to me, but I know that kind of angst. What OP should do is hire the best attorney that money can buy and the sue the crap out of his ex-wife and her entitled princess of a Daughter! Make that witch of a Karen rue the day that she stole from OP’s son. Karen honestly thinks that she’s won; too OP’s suspicions that Karen and her boss were playing bedsheet bingo; even before OP hires a lawyer, hired a Private Detective to investigate the Karen and her entitled daughter? If the Detective finds ample evidence that Karen was unfaithful in the marriage; then don’t file for divorce! File for an annulment! Make Karen know that no alimony will ever grace her bank account, and she’ll have to live off of the affair partner’s income!
Hell I think OP in this case should get alimony from his Karen of an ex wife. If she's found to be cheating on him, she can be forced to pay alimony. She's tried to make OP's life a living hell just because he wouldnt side with a thief.
@ Obviously, you’ve never been through a divorce? Even if you can’t afford a divorce, the lawyer will allow the person to make payments; once the divorce is finalized, the lawyer gets a percentage of any money recovered.
Story 3: I think that Karen sent Kelly into J's room to see if there was anything worth stealing and to take it. Her actions around it all were so swift, it must have been premeditated.
Unfortunately, the amount stolen may not amount to much more than Petty Larceny or Larceny, and will likely have to be resolved in small claims court. I would take it to Judge Judy and watch her rip K a new one. :)
@@robertc.9503 it depends on the dividing line between larceny and grand larceny… but yeah, it does depend on the state. That said, I still want to see Judge Judy adjudicate this one. :)
Story 2 - Everyone has bad days Karen, you’re not an exemption and that doesn’t give you the excuse to cuss someone out and try to ruin their reputation. OP and her boss are better people than me I’ll say that much.
Exactly. No one owes you help just because you have a bad day. Especially when you lie on that person. And by her logic Karen doesn't know if OP had a bad day. They could have lost their family in a tragic death and had a pet run over all within the span of an hour before coming into work. And what if OP had a mental breakdown at the notion of possibly being fired? So boo the goddamn hoo! Your bad day is not an excuse to be a bad person.
Story 3 fills me with so much unbridled rage I actually don't know what to do what an evil pair, the mother and daughter. What a nightmare of a situation
Karma will get them eventually, one way or another. More than likely someone will steal from her and she will be crying to her mother, the police and eventually anyone who will listen.
If even the police said there was no evidence, OP won't have any chance in divorce court. And it may backfire on him, because accusing someone without any evidence makes him sound vindictive.
My heart broke for OP and his son and the fact that they were living with 2 venomous women. OP has raised an amazing young boy who will inevitably become an extraordinary man. Living your life is always the best revenge! ❤❤
A good parent doesn't allow their child escape consequences. You're setting them up to fail in life when you are no longer here to protect them from their own actions. Kelly will eventually get her karma and will have no skills to survive it. Great dad J has, trash mom for Kelly.
Any time I get angry on the phone with a support person I make sure I say "I'm not angry at you, this isn't your fault, I'm angry at the situation". Not that it happens often. I think its only ever been twice and one was because I was dying and my insurance wouldnt pay for the 2nd half of a necessary proceedure that they did pay the first half for, knowing that getting the first surgery but not the second was a death sentence for me. So I think I got a pass on being angry that time.
I do the same thing. Although, yesterday was my day from Hell and I spent two hours online with a bot trying to figure out how I could access an account that I plan to close. I didn't swear at the bot, but I did YELL. I even told the bot I was sorry but I was so frustrated with the situation. Still not resolved. Today's only going marginally better, and we didn't even get any Halloween candy I like so I had to binge on chocolate chips. That's what that Karen needed. An attitude readjustment, a margarita, and some chocolate!
The thing that irk me the most from phone support is that the one who was finally "trying" to help, always read question from a script that took half an hour to navigate (are you sure you plug the power cable? etc.) before we finally come to the problem that I need the help. Aaaand ... that "helpful" person most likely did not have any knowledge about anything outside her (yes, they are mostly HER) script. Until I finally referred to their technician who deals with "error messages outside of script" and he (yes, they are mostly HE) can solve it in less than a minute. With so much time wasted by the script, can you blame me, a customer, get emotional 10 minutes in?
I know you followed it up with a “Maybe this was the just east out for her”. But it needs to be reiterated that this is NOT just about the daughter stealing the money and her not returning it. They are way deeper issues at play here.
@@ichaukan - I ask them if the are special and if they say they are then I ask where their minder is. Goodwill story: Karen just didn't want to pay the fees at the landfill. Bad day story: Even though most businesses tell you you're calling in on a recorded line, not all do. I simply assume that if I'm calling any business, the call will be recorded "for training purposes". Whose training is for you to decide. Theft story: OP, I'm sorry for both you and your son. I hope you looked at any joint bank accounts you and your stbx-wife have. I'm betting she's emptied them. Don't deposit any monies into them, in fact close them and don't give her access. While you're at it, help J get set up with a checking/savings account as well so this doesn't happen again. Good luck. Catalytic converter story: If you have proof of who stole it, your doing no one any favors by not reporting it and having them arrested. No matter how satisfying it may be to see their car shredded. They're just going to steal more to get new beaters.
story 3 he did say they had separate accounts so no joint account but definitely check all accounts anyway thieves know how to steal in ways you never knew possible
Used to work at Goodwill and I can verify that people just use it as a dump. We'd find Dead Christmas Trees & Turkey Carcasses in the donation bins after the Holidays.
Story 1 - Damn Karens getting banned from Goodwill? LOL! It would’ve been better if security had demanded that Karen take all of her unusable junk and put it back in her car and never come back!
@@khendralibbey617 I knows it. 2 separate days got yelled at by a fella I wouldn't let into hazardous/employee-only areas, 3rd he tried to report me, boss called him out, then he tried following her home, before doubling back to see if I was still there. Was surprised he got banned when he came back the day after.
Donations Story: If I was OP, I'd have called 911 to report Karen for 3 Counts of Assault (Shoving the other Customer twice and throwing crap at Jenny once) and 3 Counts of Littering and Illegal Dumping (for throwing unsalable crap on the ground outside the Donation area)... 😄😁😆😅😂🤣
So with story 1 I think that since they have Karen's license plate number they could file a report for illegal trash dumping and get her and her angry husband a nice fine.
And yet, that doesn't mean anything until they actually take it with police, she is supposed to be banned and so what? She will dump her crap same way she did even the guy was telling her not,
Not too long ago, I was talking with the General Manager at my local Goodwill. I asked her how much of the donations you receive cannot be resold. She told me that in a good week, less than 15% is clothing type items, and general merchandise is about the same. She then told me that in the 2 years she has been the GM, the worst week she ever had was 40% clothing that had to be destroyed and a little over 50% general merchandise. I replied, So it is safe to say that a lot of people treat these types of stores as their own personal dumpsters. She replied, I could not agree more.
@@khendralibbey617 Definitely. Not sure if it's like this on your end, but here there where plenty who seemed to think since you worked there, you where disabled in some capacity. As a Goodwill employee, I related so much to that story. Though I am also a lot more firm when it comes to taking garbage I would not have taken her junk for anything.
Story 1 - in the UK, that's treated as fly tipping. The costs associated with dealing with it is the charity shop industry's primary problem. If you can get an ID/registration plate, they can be fined significant money.
Story 3: This is exactly why parents shouldn't be allowed to remarry without the children's approval. Sometimes, stepsiblings are *just plain incompatible.*
As someone who had their catalytic converter stolen a couple years back, I don't think OP was harsh enough. They should've called the theft in right after those two got out of jail for trying to steal their car back. They should've added more insult to injury. I'm still mad about mine being stolen to this day, they fucked up the rest of my exhaust when they stole it. I had to buy a whole new exhaust line, the converter, and a muffler because of it. What's even worse, theft of catalytic converters is actually a federal offence. OP could've gotten them in worse trouble since they were caught on camera.
In 2020 and '21, when a good chunk of the country was out of work because of pandemic-related shutdowns, I had the lovely job of taking calls from people trying to navigate the state's unemployment program. It was a long, slow, sometimes very messy process, and in a lot of cases people were just plain scared. They were also often frustrated and angry at an overloaded system. So basically EVERY call I took was some level of the Bad Day Lady in the story. At least I had the advantage of knowing there was a reason for empathy before I even picked up a call. And that went a long way toward smoothing the way most of the time. A simple statement of something like, "I don't blame you for being [insert negative feeling here]! Let's see what we can do to get this claim worked out, okay?" could calm down people in a hurry.
Story 4. As hard as it would be, a good response to an irate customer on the phone is to say, " It sound like you are having a really crappy day, hwo can I help?". You would be suprised how often it works.
OH GOOD!!!!! Man i somehow had on Restricted mode on and couldn't comment. Man alive i feel bad for OP in story one a d her manager. Good on them especially for putting Karen in her place.

God yes. Never will forget that guy came hauling in that filthy mattress. Thing had a stink-radius of about 10 feet, and was covered in a cammo-patern of various shades of human excrement. Fella looked me right in the face to say in what good shape it was. Spent 10 minutes trying to get through to him why we couldn't take it. Surprised it wasn't sitting outside the door in the morning.
The gentleman in the third story, you are not in the wrong you are in the right. No one wants to see somebody hurt, but someday the law will catch up with your exes, daughter. And to watch that will be just so sweet.
Story 2: I worked in phone customer service jobs for several years, and my response to anyone that swore at me was to say, in my best saccharine-sweet artificial "customer service voice": "Thank you so much for telling me your name! Now what's your question?" That completely wrong-footed all of them and led to a wide variety of reactions after several inevitable seconds of stunned silence on their end. Some got even angrier and either tried to up the ante (which got them a repeat performance from me until they gave up) or hung up. Others would snap out of their mood. Some of this group would be apologetic and actually give me useful info so I could help them for real. A couple of them even laughed hysterically and were cured of their bad moods!
Story 2 - I would have maliciously complied: I'd refuse to hang up or transfer the caller until I had solved the issue. Useless advice. Have you tried turning it off and back on? Have you tried shaking it? Can you try unplugging it and plugging it back in? Did you try another payment method? Did you reset the router? Is your cell phone 5G?...if so, try putting your phone in another room. If the caller got upset, I'd comment, "I normally don't deal with these issues, as that isn't my department... but I don't want you to get me fired! I really need this job! Trust me... we'll figure this out! Try turning it off and back on again!"
Story 2: there's a chance that reading too many of these has built up a sort of resistance to the bigger picture. So I dunno where exactly I stand
Stepsister steals and Mom protects her. Son sues sister. If Mom tries to defend her, use the footage and get the information from her company on when she left work. Press charges for theft against stepsister. Win life.
I had my catalytic converter stolen a few years ago, and it was an ordeal. Two things worked in my favor: Our go-to mechanic is right down the street, and insurance was willing to pay for the whole replacement. What didn't work was needing a rental until then, and the replacement converter kept getting delayed, so I still lost a huge amount of money over that.
Story 3 had me absolutely enraged. There's no way the wife wasn't planning to take the dad for everything and this was just the excuse, it was too well planned.
Story 3, When i was 16 i had to choose to live with my mom or my dad, my dad said he would support any decision i made as long as it was my decision, even if jr dated with it wholeheartedly. I was almost an adult. He lost his house just to afford legal fees so he could keep custody of me. He’s always said he’ll have my back, and he always has. You can’t buy trust like that.
Story 3: I don't know if Karen had planned all this, but she definitely was ready for the contingency. And I hope someone told OP to take those texts to the police, because yeah, they're confessing to taking the money.
Story 1 : Our local Salvation Army has gotten very annoying lately. Their donation hours are not conducive to my work hours. I arrived with 4 chairs 1 minute after donation time. The older guy yelled at me that I couldn't leave them, then told me to come back tomorrow during whatever hours they were open. I told him I work those hours and can't come back. So he said to come back Monday, sorry still working. The chairs ended going with the trash Monday morning.

Customer service calls are recorded. There's no point lying about what a service rep said. It's the phone version of security cameras in stores. They even warn you when you call before the rep picks up. "This call is being recorded for quality assurance and training purposes" or something similar.
Regarding the story where the 17 year old had money stolen from the step-sister... I feel bad for the co-worker. OP and kid will be fine. OPs stbx will never change. Story 1: Goodwill, more like Badwill. Karen basically dumped stuff there just for that tax write-off, and it's pretty clear since she dumped broken stuff
You get a ticket or receipt from Goodwill for that tax write off. If they were trying to get her to take her junk back, I doubt they gave her a receipt, so she got nothing but banned.
the pushing stuff of the first story remind me of that one time short ago where i had to get tram line home. It's customary, since the tram is always full like an egg, to walk pass the door as deep inside the cart as you can to allow as many as possible people to get in behind you. A bunch of people got in but the basically stopped at the entrance and when it was my turn i had to stop mid doors and the doors closed on me. No biggy, it's not like they hurt you, just an annoyance. The second after, when the door open again and i'm free i contemplate wheter to step of the tram, but then i decide otherwise and i smile. "excuse me..." i announce in a merry voice, then i proceed to give a sharp shoulder strike to the mass of people. I'm rather big and strong, something like 12 people got pushed half a step foreward in a thigher occupance of the vehicle and i finally can step in and let the doors close. If you can't be civic in you behavior, nor will i be, and i can take some pushes. Can you?
I don't care if someone is having a "bad"... That's no excuse to then dump on someone else that has nothing to do or caused whatever is happening to you!!!
Story 2. Look. I get having bad days. I myself have a mental disorder that can toss one at me at a whim. But I don't scream and yell, I don't abuse people, and I certainly don't try and bring the world DOWN to MY bad day. If i'm really that angry I shut myself away till i'm confident I can interact with people civally. The difference between an adult and a child is control over themselves. Everyone slips, but that's more than a slip. If I were her I would've been apologizing my butt off, written apologies by hand to each person I abused, and thanked my lucky stars that I didn't recieve the darn due punishment. Geez man.
A pair of pals told me this thrift story tale. They were both retired military. She was an AF pilot & he was a Marine. They had come to shop for hoodies & flannel shirts. They separated to shop. The woman (AF) was wearing her leather A-2 jacket. AF took off her A-2 jacket to try on various items. She placed the A-2 across a racket & began to try on items. She then noticed her A-2 was gone & saw a teenager walking away with it. AF went in pursuit catching up to the teen who was trying purchase my friend’s coat. As the arguing began the teens Karen mother joined the argument. Karen became vulgar in her insults. Teen called the local police. The AF’s husband had come to the front to understand the commotion. He knew AF had flown in combat & that she needed no help from him. Police officer arrived & listen to Karen & spawn hyperbolic telling their side of the story. Teen claimed AF had tried to pick her up & other jolly stories. The officer turned to AF for side of the story. AF asked the clerk to take her iPhones out an inside pocket. Teen tried to claim it was her phone. AF then asked the Teen then to open the phone. Karen tried to tell a story too. AF then quickly open the phone. In the photo section there were numerous pictures of AF wearing the A-2 while on active duty. AF further noted how her name was stitched on the leather A-2 jacket. Karen & teen still tried to double down. The officer handed the A-2 back to AF & thanked her for her years of military service. After issuing dire threats Karen & teen turned to leave. At this point the Marine husband suggested that he & his wife would be glad to go to court if need be. He strongly urged that Karen & teen just leave. They quickly departed. Marine requested that officer file some paperwork just in case Karen decided to take them to court. Officer agreed but Karen never followed up on her threats.

Considering the amount stolen, it might also be Grand Theft.
I think it might be because the amount stolen was just under the threshold to be considered a felony.
The one consolation is that the father has a loving relationship with Jason, while his wife will suffer from having an entitled daughter, and you know there will be trouble ahead. They deserve each other. Karma!
Exactly! And for her to straight up lie to the police is insane.
Story 3: Those texts are the proof you need. Hopefully someone points that out, because now you have a confession.
What texts?
"He's almost an adult, it's time to grow up."
These are the same people who would go nuts if there was even $20 missing from their bank account.
Pity op didn’t record the conversation and admission made by the mother after the event.
I did shed some tears.
@Enki1013 exactly!
Savings account? Checking account?
I beg to differ. The dad is freaking completely utterly useless!!!!! I can't believe it did not cross his mind to record those confrontations.
One of these days, that brat is going to steal from the wrong person and neither her nor her mother will be able to talk their way out of it. If they're lucky they'll just have to learn how to wipe their butts with no fingers.
@@curtisalex456someone pointed out in some states it’s not legal to record without consent.
@@ElCid48 ?? Is that an update from OP or is that your free writing exercise? 😅
He HAS filed charges against K for theft (YES!!!) and he said his lawyer told him with all his evidence that it "should be a slam dunk"
Unfortunately, in the meantime, while he got his dream job, he's still not making enough to support himself and his son comfortably, has been denied food stamps and when he went to the food pantry, they gave him moldy rotten food. When he went back to ask them if it was a mistake, and could he get it replaced, the lady banned him from the pantry and said food never goes rotten and if you think it does, you aren't really hungry are you. WTF? I pray this guy gets a break soon. :(
I would love to follow this story, would you please share the link to it?
You're a godsent, thank you for sharing that info
Wanna follow this, Reddit link please?
Most food pantry workers are nice. That’s just terrible:(
My mom goes to a place near us that gives food out every single week.

He can't afford ANY attorney...
@ Obviously, you’ve never been through a divorce? Even if you can’t afford a divorce, the lawyer will allow the person to make payments; once the divorce is finalized, the lawyer gets a percentage of any money recovered.

Story 3: In some states, grand larceny starts at $600.00. Theft of $1,000.00 is well into grand larceny charges.
Story 3: Go to the police and a lawyer with those texts!

Story 3 fills me with so much unbridled rage I actually don't know what to do what an evil pair, the mother and daughter. What a nightmare of a situation

I hope story 3 comes back with a crazy karma story.
Get your sons money back in divorce court.
@Bethany-v7h Oh man I've never yelled at a worker over the phone but I'd absolutely yell at a bot. They can be annoying as hell.
That kid is an inspiration to just be there with your friend's dad to mourn his loss together
I know you followed it up with a “Maybe this was the just east out for her”.
But it needs to be reiterated that this is NOT just about the daughter stealing the money and her not returning it. They are way deeper issues at play here.

I had my catalytic converter stolen a few years ago, and it was an ordeal. Story #3 I'm hoping that the divorce lawyer checks out the situation with the soon-to-be-divorced wife's affair and how long it had really been going on. It seems very convenient that the wife is suddenly shacked up with her affair partner/co-worker. She'll have to make a financial settlement to OP.
That second one: she was taught a lesson…..that the phone call was being recorded. She then broke down about how bad her day was.
Goodwill, more like Badcan't 😂
You can’t get a tax write off without a receipt. I doubt they gave her a receipt because all of that was junk that they weren’t going to sell anyway
How is that work? Karen didn't receive any receipt from OP, how would she claimed for tax write-off?
@@TheSkyGuy77 or BadNope?
the pushing stuff of the first story remind me of that one time short ago where i had to get tram line home.
Story 3:
"Return what she stole?
That would be embarrassing!"
-.-
I try to give good stuff to the goodwill so they can sell it and I do it to there specifications.
The step-sister stealing story. If someone did that to my daughter, both would be eating through a straw for a long time.
Story 2.
Story 3
"He was my son ftom a previous marriage."
There you go.
Thats why that entitled sister stole from him, and her mother backed her.
He was lesser to them, not family.
