What an inspiration. Illness and suffering can help to make all of us saints if we offer our suffering to God. That's what all the saints knew. And we can do it too. There is so much grace in suffering.

Her heroic love for God endured throughout her great ordeal and that made her a great person worthy of our emulation. To the world, this seems worthless and absurd, much like the folly of the cross, but through that wood that Christ hang upon, He gave life to the world. Blessed be God through His holy saints.

SLIPPED IN A VAT OF BOILING LIE! The very thought gives me shivers. One would need to be a saint to endure something like that for 20yrs.

I agree with you--God fills all our needs, including sainthood, especially when the cross becomes most unbearable for us in any other way. May her memory be eternal.

God delivered his son onthe cross very quickly. He does not allow unnecessary suffering. Many died by crucifixion and suffered for days , that's man's cruelty, not god's way.
