Are u sure u are a real pilot ?? I watched ur videos because I finded weird that a « pilot » had Deadpool pp, and well looks like ur a 12 yrs old kid aren’t u ??except if you’ve got a kid who use ur account
I am loving this Cold & Dark series. 777, 787 and 737 done. Next up will be the 747. Thanks AviationPro for an easy to follow tutorial for someone who is not a pilot.
Even though I can make my own tutorials for our products, I still appreciated getting to watch yours for an alternative perspective. Doesn't matter how old the product is, or how many other people have done something. Do it in your own style. The rest will fall into place.
Thank you so much, finally I found a solution for power loss after turn off the ground power, thanks to your tutorial. Otherwise I was going to stay connected to the ground power forever:)
Really an excellent video. Even a common person can learn how to start up the 737. Great explanation. I would recommend to all aviation enthusiasts. Thank you
Nice video, just one suggestion! When aligning the IRS's the left GPS coordinate is the most accurate and should be used. Only if unavailable would you then use Right GPS, Last Aircraft Position, Gate Pos, airport position. in that order. The last 2 being only reference positions in the NAV DB.
@@AviationPro My only question if I may is how even is checked, Runway Analysis doesn't seem to generate a visible TLR. It seems like not all OFP formats support it, but in the SimBrief Briefing page, nothing is visible in the OFP... Again, thank you for your content.
It would be nice that we we select a cold and dark state, the switches would be put in random positions which makes the preflight checks more fun and realistic
There is a shutdown and securing checklist before leaving the cockpit. So, as long as the crew before you followed that checklist, there wouldn't be any randomness to the position of switches.
Very nice video and informative. I have one question. When you finished your push back and start up you set your brake to disconnect the tow vehicle, did you forget to release it as in the video your wheels were smoking and sparking?
Hey. When I turned IRS selector left to align DC on light came up but didn't go after that (right side working fine). Both align and DC on lights are showing up and an annoying alarm is coming after that, I can't use FMC also for position initialisation. I don't know how to solve it, does it happen in real-life also? (I couldn't find solution in any RUclips video or on internet)... Someone please help me..
Select it to nav directly. That alarm is that u have not aligned it in the fmc. In order to align the IRS go to the next page in POS init and copy the coordinates. Then paste them into the set irs POS thing on the first pagd
Hi, at around 21:00, your TOPCAT indicates "D-TO", but I don't understand why you select "TO-1" as derate, from FMC. Is it normal, or is it an error? Thanks in advance for reply, because it's not clear in my mind! ;) Of course for now I'm using P3Dv5 HF2 and PMDG 737 NGXu, with its embedded EFB, for takeoff performance calculations.
Thanks for your video, need some help. I ran into problem with the auto pilot for PMDG 737. Sometimes i could activate the auto pilot during take off, other times, it wouldn't light up at all. For auto pilot to be activated, I understand that there are two conditions: 1. Set altitude, or 2. program the route in FMC, Since I'm doing a quick flight to test VS and FLC in auto pilot mode, I set the altitude only. But during the climb, the auto pilot button didn't light up when I press the button. Which step did I miss out?
Greet Video! I fly the 737NG in the Sim (FSX/P3D) for some years, so I "know" the airplane a bit. But, I really like your flows in connection to the checklist and your explanations. It makes really sense! Suggestion: I would like to see a Video about the Flaps & Speeds while Start and Landing, I know that we start for example with Flaps 10 an V2, but when exactly do we retract the flaps, at 1500 ft when the nose gets down a bit? The same thing while landing, when do you want have ti have the flaps fully extend and the landing speed established, when we capture the ILS at 3000 ft? Are there different policies in the Airlines...?
Hey buddy, flap 10 usually isn't used for takeoff since it basically is the same as flap 5 with the slats (wing leading edge devices) extended which gives the same lift as flap 5 but produces more drag - not what you want during takeoff :) If you want to advance your sim experience I highly recommend checking out the RUclips channel "FlightDeck2Sim" (or FD2S in short). This guy brings real life procedures to the desktop flight sim and amongst others also has uploaded a tutorial for departure, flap settings etc. Have a nice day.
thank you so much for all your help.. one silly question... how are you moving around the cockpit like that flicking switches and turning on stuff.? the only option i have is SHIFT + O and i get mouse look but its quite difficult to steady the hand over a switch? tks in advance.
sir thanks for your valuable tutorials, requesting tutorial over pmdg nose wheel animation while taxi and turn if you can give on all pmdg products like 737 747 in order to see how realistic it looks thank you once again
I have a question concerning the flight planning/FMC programming. Is it correct, that i HAVE to use a tool like pfpx or simbrief in order to get ALL the informations that i need to insert?? At the moment im using the aerosoft airbus or the qw avro rj. With those planes i look up a routing on routefinder (for example) and im good to go (the rest comes from the fuel planning tool, which is delivered with the aircraft). Cheers :)
If you want a proper load sheet, proper route, and wind information at all waypoints, then yes you will need something like PFPX or Simbrief. Simbrief is free though, I'd highly recommend using it. You could also find a route on websites like Flightaware or rfinder.asalink.net/free, but that doesn't give you any weather information or accurate fuel predictions.
AviationPro thanks very much for the answer. I think i will start using simbrief when i buy the pmdg 737. also in combination with a navigraph subscription. :)) Cheers :)

Hi buddy. I have a problem switching on the APU, after turning on the fuel aft pump I tried starting the APU but I don’t see any change in the meter as well as APU lluminating. How to solve this
@pilotguy707 yeah of course but the "computer" where the data is inserted is called cdu. I think he meant a tutorial about the preparation of the flight in terms of setting up weights, speeds and routing on the cdu
I think it’s not realistic that the switches are turning this slow. The Engine switches also have to be pushed down when switching from Auto to GND/CONT. flick levers should just flick in my opinion because it looks like it’s in slow mo. Same goes for the rotated selectors. They can be a bit animated but not rotating as if the sim is in slow motion
Can someone explain the difference between this and the Xplane zibo? The latest version(3.32) added holdings and all systems seem the same as in the PMDG
