Mine just came today. I have a bottle of Oud for Greatness so I’m quite familiar with the scent. I would say it’s about 88% to the original. It’s not as sweet, it doesn’t have the deep Oud pushing, and it smells a little more synthetic. It has descent silage, but it’s not lasting as long. It you can’t afford the original then buy Oud for Glory.
I love the smell of Oud for Glory, but don't have a good occasion for it to wear it. As a scent for in the house, it's very nice and smells super luxurious.

I know it's frowned upon throwing money to imposters, but the fragrance community is more and more accepting clones as they prove you are getting soooo ripped off. Armaf blew me away with not just Club De Nuit Intense, they nailed Adventus. But Milestone and Sillage are literally identical. Better performance.
Dont consider it imposter, understand that these parfumes originate in the Orient. Most of the notes are from what area? Right. The orient. So they can have similar smells, there is no monopoly on spices anymore 😂

This is a blind buy I just received today. Didn't know it's a dupe and don't care. It's gone to my center shelf as one of my favorites. I realize most don't wear Oud in summer but I'm a redhead who also like Ysatis still and tbat has Civit cat oil in it (humanely drawn..dont panic) You mentioned Bacarat R 540 and I immediately thought of the most perfumes plunged on the market here in the US as I have too many and they all remind me of 1970s Arrid extra dry deodorant spray...which is why I don't buy them. I have a few..Molecule ..and Its not a perfume. ..I like those. and the Biblical oils.. but I'm touring the world.
You describe the scents so well. The level of sophistication in your sense and articulation rivals the best oenophiles and their understanding of wine. Differences in depth, smoothness, duration are my takeaways from your video. I needed a woodsy scent in the rotation and l love oud. I purchased the Glory without having tried it at all and only based on the reviews. I was not disappointed. It does come across slightly synthetic, but I think it was the compromise for keeping it from becoming cloying. On a combination of fabric and skin on a warm day, the Glory held nicely through the evening, with just a couple spritzes. You don't need a lot, which adds to the value of the bottle. Sometimes, I feel I need to spray much more of the expensive department store brands, already much more expensive than Glory, to have the oud lingering after the dry-down. I have to prioritize my spending so unless I come into money, I will not likely purchase the gold-standard Greatness anytime soon. The Glory, to me, is a no brainer and I will likely keep it as a regular scent, along with my Issey Miyake and a few others.

I first tried month ago when i had first sniff very sharp and i changed my mond for CD blooming bouquet . I sprayed on my cardigan when i reached home i hanged in my wardrobe later on its smells comming very nice every time i open my wardrobe burned sugar smells

Ash from Gents Scents doesn't even mention any mint smell . Plus , his final verdict was that they are identical and unless you smell them side by side, you won't tell the difference. I trust his reviews a lot. I'm reserving my judgement on your review as my bottle is being delivered 2day. You're the only RUclipsr that has said it's not close to the original.
@hunnidisblack9337 Deffo no mint note in it whatsoever. A bit of a harsh opening, but as it starts to dry down, it becomes a really great fragrance. The oud and patchouli work really well together. It lasts around 6 hours before becoming a skin scent. I can still smell it on clothes , the next day. It's now one of my favourite fragrances in my collection.

Few times I was tempted to blind buy OFG but didn't have OO for it :) Blind buy Midnight Oud,wanted to try something new (it supposed to be Amouage Interlude clone) and maaaan I choked myself the worst! Overwhelming sweetness and spices destroyed me. Luckely changed it for one thing there was,Kouros. Have no idea how OFG smells like but I'll find out somehow.

On skin id say around 6hours... projection id say around 3hours and than it gets closer...but people will smell you all day... i wore this to work and people asked me what i was wearing... the sillage is also good... not everyone likes the smell but i like it alot...

Man the UAE has some killer cheapie deals. For $20 it was such a delectable gooey dewy chocolate oud combo.

Hello when i was in Dubai I bought a bottle of shamikh in khalis perfumes and I found it spectacular (8 years ago) if you have time I recommend you try them.
Planning to buy a few Khalis. I visited their store some time back and tried a few and liked them, unfortunately it was the last shop (after about 20) that I visited and my wife just wanted to get out of the heat and into the car. Haha. Thought I'd go back and spend some more time picking the ones I like and some popular ones that are more accessible to people. 😊

identical scent yes but armaf brand is chemical to me and gives me headache compared to creed which smells natural
I was blown away as well I went to a Bloomingdale’s and tested out creed they smell so identical with Armaf

Oud is actually designed to be worn during hot weather. That's a western myth.

Differences in depth, smoothness, duration are my takeaways from your video. I needed a woodsy scent in the rotation and l love oud. I purchased the Glory without having tried it at all and only based on the reviews. I was not disappointed. It does come across slightly synthetic, but I think it was the compromise for keeping it from becoming cloying. On a combination of fabric and skin on a warm day, the Glory held nicely through the evening, with just a couple spritzes.
You don't need a lot, which adds to the value of the bottle. Sometimes, I feel I need to spray much more of the expensive department store brands, already much more expensive than Glory, to have the oud lingering after the dry-down. I have to prioritize my spending so unless I come into money, I will not likely purchase the gold-standard Greatness anytime soon. The Glory, to me, is a no brainer and I will likely keep it as a regular scent, along with my Issey Miyake and a few others.

@@shanedm3396 lol. I actually got a decant myself. I get mfk rouge 540 vibe with some bitternes to it. I don't like it that much. In fact, I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner. Only those with matured nose might prefer it. Ppl around wouldn't find it pleasing either imo.
I first tried month ago when i had first sniff very sharp and i changed my mond for CD blooming bouquet . I sprayed on my cardigan when i reached home i hanged in my wardrobe later on its smells comming very nice every time i open my wardrobe burned sugar smells

Ash from Gents Scents doesn't even mention any mint smell . Plus , his final verdict was that they are identical and unless you smell them side by side, you won't tell the difference. I trust his reviews a lot. I'm reserving my judgement on your review as my bottle is being delivered 2day. You're the only RUclipsr that has said it's not close to the original.

@hunnidisblack9337 Deffo no mint note in it whatsoever. A bit of a harsh opening, but as it starts to dry down, it becomes a really great fragrance. The oud and patchouli work really well together. It lasts around 6 hours before becoming a skin scent. I can still smell it on clothes , the next day. It's now one of my favourite fragrances in my collection.
This is great. Just need one spray. Perfect for your sheets or comforter too!

I don't have Raghba Wood Intense, but I've tried it and I believe Lattafa Oud Mood tends to get a little cloying especially since it's not that cold in India. 😊

I live in Rotterdam and I just got mine for 30 euros.
Few times I was tempted to blind buy OFG but didn't have OO for it :) Blind buy Midnight Oud,wanted to try something new (it supposed to be Amouage Interlude clone) and maaaan I choked myself the worst! Overwhelming sweetness and spices destroyed me. Luckely changed it for one thing there was,Kouros.
Have no idea how OFG smells like but I'll find out somehow.

How Is its performance: longevity in hours (on skin and clothes), projection and sillage?
On skin id say around 6hours... projection id say around 3hours and than it gets closer...but people will smell you all day... i wore this to work and people asked me what i was wearing... the sillage is also good... not everyone likes the smell but i like it alot...

It usually takes 2 weeks for bottles to arrive from the UAE so guess all I can do is wait. I'm so excited!! I used to hate fragrances with oud but now my olfactory sense had matured a bit I'm quite incline to try them out. Oud 24 Hours from Ard Al Zaafaran was the first one I really enjoy. Man the UAE has some killer cheapie deals. For $20 it was such a delectable gooey dewy chocolate oud combo.

Hello when i was in Dubai I bought a bottle of shamikh in khalis perfumes and I found it spectacular (8 years ago) if you have time I recommend you try them.
Planning to buy a few Khalis. I visited their store some time back and tried a few and liked them, unfortunately it was the last shop (after about 20) that I visited and my wife just wanted to get out of the heat and into the car. Haha. Thought I'd go back and spend some more time picking the ones I like and some popular ones that are more accessible to people. 😊
