My Oud for Glory just came over an hour ago. Just sprayed it once on my arm and once on my shirt....My god....I cant stop smelling this. Im a frag head and been collecting since 2012. my experience when I bought some of the recommended fragrances is that it is extremely subjective. What seems the perfect fragrance for the presenter, you may end up hating it. Best thing is to try the brand in the store.
Everybody gets burnt that way in this "hobby". It's so subjective it's scary which isn't that surprising considering how emotional scents are. It's also very dependent on skin chemistry. One frag on your skin can be the most wonderful thing and on mine, it's either a chemical mess or smells like a cat litter box. Blue de Chanel everyone raves about as such a safe and beautiful scent turn to absolute shit on my skin, both EDT and EDP and Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit De L'homme Bleu Electrique is a chemical mess on my skin. It's very chemical on paper as well but on my skin it's horrible.
I completely agree, it is so subjective when it comes to fragrant. As many well aware of, one fragrant will blend and project differently in each person body/skin. as each person distinctive chemical odor is different from one person to another.
