- Idk why I keep doing this but I decided it was a good idea to buy all four Badee Al Ouds by Lattafa (Amethyst, Sublime, Honor and Glory, Oud for Glory). I'm giving you my first impressions and also a two week post opening update to see if maceration has changed these for the better or if they need more time, or if they're perfect just the way they are 🥹

I've tried Oud for Glory and for me that's a good alternative to Oud for Greatness. Its sweet, spicy dry woods. Definitely not for beginners but surpringly is smells good escpecially if it's in the air, you'll get that magic. Projection is strong especially for the next 2 to 3 hrs. Longevity is easily 10 hrs on me.

My bottle of Oud for Glory started out weak and had me disappointed. Then it got stronger after a month or so and lasts all day. I don’t understand why the Middle Eastern fragrances start out so different sometimes.
just need to macerate them, spray 5x and put them away in a cabinet for a month
It reminds me of Armaf Club De Nuit Sillage. It started out synthetic and sharp but has now mellowed out and has become more balanced and more natural smelling.

Just got my Honor & Glory today and it is so creamy on the drydown but the pineapple is undetectable after a few mins. It is still a good scent though. I will let it macerate and see if it gets better in time. New subbie here. Thank you for such a detailed review. Im waiting for my Sublime.
I just received all 4. I wish the sublime and honor/glory performed better, but I will give it a few months to see how it goes. Oud for glory and amethyst are moster performers for me straight out of the box.

Thanks! I let my sublime macerate/ mature for four weeks now and it did get a little better. I have the same longevity issue with it. I’m hoping it improves in time for spring and summer . I got Infini Rose instead of Amythest. I think it is closer to a clone of Atomic Rose. It took it a month in perfume Jail before it smelled good !!
Perfume jail 😂😂 I'm going to start calling it that.
Just wanted to say the lattafa website actually has.more notes for oud for glory.
Bergamot, Pink Peppercorn, Blackcurrant
Heart: Peony, Caramel, Oud Wood
Base: Raspberry, Patchouly, Dry Amber
Amethyst Oud was my favorite. It’s so rosy/cherryish.
Sublime was very beautiful smelling, had a lot of sillage but didn’t last on my skin a long time. I’ll let it macerate a bit.
Oud for Glory was far too masculine for me. Reminds me of patchouli.
Honor and Glory lasts a very long time. Very creamy sweet smell. It’s unisex smelling, as all of these are, but it also leans a bit on the masculine side for me. It’s long lasting though! It’s creamy
I have all four of them what’s a little bit disappointed in her performance and longevity but I put them away oh my the difference is astounding sublime is my favorite it Has developed into a beautiful long lasting room filling sent the longer you can let them sit the better they become❤

Absolutely I have all but the oud for glory because scared it would be too masculine but 3 mnths of macerating has made them beast mode beauties!
The dupe of Atomic Rose is Infini Rose by Maison Alhambra (aka Lattafa) i suggest you check it out because it's really close. Amethyst is not a direct clone of Infini Rose. I would say it's an inspired by with a twist. Infini Rose leans more towards the feminine side while Amethyst can be easily worn by a man.

im using it in Australia, where its winter
it lasts around 1 hour
and projection is for 30-45 minutes before it becomes a skin scent
i pray it gets better in the summer
i bought infini rose bcs Amethyst has heavy oud whereas Infini Rose is soft rose with minimal oud

Yes Infini Rose is the clone of Atomic Rose while Amethyst is inspired by Atomic Rose but more oud forward and masculine IMO.
Amethyst and honor & glory are best
I mix the white bottle with another oud to balance it
Especially when it comes to longevity. I like a strong masculine cologne mixed with a little sweet

Honour and glory is amazing
Came for the Honor and Glory. I just love my gourmands. Need more for warmer weather though. Those are harder to find for unisex or masculine scents.
Would you say it is unisex or leans more masculine?
I had to let sublime sit for 2 months because all I got was this incense smell to it. I'm shocked there's no incense note in it but once it sat after 2 months, OMFGGGGG!!!!! I am sooooooo in love it's much sweeter and got juicier. And I don't smell that incense as much it's just sooooooo good! But u have to let this sit and come back to it after 2 months. Like all 3 of these.

The first person to say that OFG is leathery, and therefore a leather scent. Well done you're the only one. Its NOT a wood scent like I keep hearing. It is fairly sweet but it competes with the dry tart oud for prominence and is obscured somewhat by the gasoline note. Sweet and sour red fruity LEATHER scent highlighted with saffron and a touch of gasoline for a bit of rugged dirtiness.
I got Amethyst about 2 months ago. The first week the oud was Harsh. 2 weeks later the scents became smoother.
I also just got Oud for glory.I just a week ago. Same issue harsh smell out of the box, 3 days later it smells smoother & less metallic.
They are amazing with niche quality scents.
What I've noticed with ME dupes is that they don't skimp on the packaging, and with the actual bottle. While the scents are good too, with how they present it makes it really hard to pass up on specially if you really like the scent as well.

I have sublime & amethyst and 100% agree with your reviews of them. I’m a woman and love the oud heaviness on me. It’s a sexy scent. Sublime is fruity with an oud finish on my skin. I showered and could still smell amethyst on my skin faintly.
I get decent performance from Honor & Glory on skin but much better on clothes.

great review such great attention to detail I picked up the amethyst and it gave me a major headache. I was very interested in the sublime but I'm hearing your review that you don't feel like it's too unisex some might not take a gamble on it otherwise new subscriber and look forward to other great reviews

I have them all and absolutely love each one... Honor and glory is my fav with Amythest coming in as a close second. The maceration works wonders for these juices. Turns them beastly!!
I have Amethyst and Sublime. Beautiful fruity rose scents. Sublime is my fave of the two✨🌺 The notes of the fragrances come in envelope cards toward the base of the fragrance bottles’ foam compartments. I had a hard time figuring out Sublime’s dry down. Leather faucet as you said I totally agree with💯

I have amethyst and the Black one, I gave away the Black one as it was too masculine for me. Im in love with amethyst but only for colder days . It is a wonderful scent

A friend sent me a decant of Initio Oud for greatness which is sublime.
I got Oud For Glory in hope of bipassing the Initio price tag but it is way too harsh with an odd burnt rubber note through it.
It's so similar to the original yet somehow so different.
It projects and last really well for me but it's nowhere near as nice.
I would be interested to see what you think of Initio Oud For Greatness after seeing your excellent review of it's harsh, smokey clone.
I have ordered Honour And Glory because the description sounds fantastic but I'm disappointed to see here that it doesn't perform like I expected it would.
This review also makes me want to try amethyst. 🔥

I just got after effect and it smells amazing. I wonder how does it compare with infini Rose and Amethyst
bought the amethyst one but they sent me oud for glory, I was looking for a more vanilla/amber sweet fragrance with a strong projection.
Would you recomend keeping oud for glory or should I return and get amethyst?

The scent last 8 to 12 hours on my skin, I'm surprised people say it doesn't last. Performance has been excellent with sublime, maybe people go nose blind?

Honor & Glory has ungodly longevity ..you my darling have gone noseblind...my skin devours fragrance, and this lasts and projects about 6 hrs on skin ,days on clothes..

I love both but I think sublime is a safer bet for blind buy, the deep oud in amethyst can be a bit off putting for some
I have all four and my message to the fellas is that you have to be secure in your masculinity if you choose to wear SUBLIME AND HONOR & GLORY. Oud For Glory is phenomenal but don’t be heavy handed because you might clear the room 😅

Infini Rose is the dupe of Atomic Rose not Amethyst. The latter is more oud forward as is unisex but leans more masculine IMO. Infini Rose is also unisex but more feminine leaning as the rose is brighter and not as much oud. Both are dark, gothic rose fragrances. Very vamp-y. 🧛♀️🦇🧛

I love badee al oud on men, my partner wears it to work and I can still smell it on him when he comes home. I think it’s an amazing one for the price, but I know some fresh bottles can have some performance issues. I’ve had mine for well over 6 months now though xx

These cheapies must be macerated and matured for awhile. Spray several times and let them sit for several weeks. I love amethyst and honor

If you are a man, in my opinion you need just one of these; "oud for glory". Honor and glory & Sublime are not masculine, I wouldn't wear them. I haven't tried amethyst.

I hate the purple one. Its underwhelming and gross. Loved the black one. It got better over time. I bought the black for my son and use it more. Im interested in the white one
Is you want something bit similar to oud for glory but you want it sweet, then get Noir D’Arabie by Pendora scents

@Zurri yes check it out, there are lots of reviews on it. supposed to be inspired by Arabian Tonka by Montal , which it is but alot of people say it smells very similar to oud for glory plus a dose of sugar

Macreration actually means spraying a few times then leaving it intouched for a few weeks or months. It has to be exposed to oxygen in order to work its magic ❤

If you like traditionally masculine scents you would probably consider this very feminine, it is very fruity and sweet, but anyone can wear anything of course 😌 xx
I just received mine last week (oud for glory) and the performance sucks so I can’t decide just yet if I like it or not, is yours performing better now? If so how much more better than when you first bought it?
I had my husband wear it today, I can still smell it 5+ hours later. I think it was already a good performer out the box but it’s definitely gotten smoother and a little sweeter too. I would give it time, my Sublime was balls performance out the box but I wore it recently and it was a monster sticking on my clothing and projecting for hours.

Oud for Glory is one of those fragrances that people go nose blind to it. You spray it, and 5min later, you don't smell it. But trust me, it's there for a lot of hours and other people will definitely smell you. I own it and has been macerating for about two months. The fragrance is not as super strong as people say it is. Imo, it's ok to spray it 8-12 times, depending on occasion. Trust me, it has very good performance, and you get a very unique smell for a very low price.

Oud for Glory is really bad and doesn’t perform at all , there is no projection and it stays on the skin, even after 10 sprays
it might need some time, it definitely has improved for me after a few months.
