I usually don't like when they copy the name and bottle but lattafa did a great job. The bottle is gorgeous, very expensive look and feel to it. I agree they're nearly identical and 3 of my freinds who actually know and love oud for greatness complemented me and asked me if I'm wearing that one. 💕💕
Haha yes honestly it’s almost insane the levels they went to in this dupe and I agree it’s not my favourite when people do that but WOW they made up for it with accuracy!
Don't feel about the copy/clone :-)) everyone in the perfume industry copy each other, including Tom Form, Creed, Dior....etc. Oud For Greatness is a dupe for BR540 with some minor changes, and they sell it to you as a niche for crazy price!!
The objective should be to smell good and send less ))

I’ve just received Oud for Glory by Lattafa today and genuinely can’t tell the difference after about 20 minutes. In the opening I think Initio is smoother but after they settle they’re almost identical. Certainly won’t be spending £270 on Initio when I’ve just got Lattafa for under £23!!! Great review.

Great review - well done. I live in Dubai and have a lot of experience with niche, expensive designer and oud fragrances. I picked up Oud for Glory here for 55 dirhams (about 15 USD) - it is unquestionably one of the best clones I've ever smelled (and I've smelled a lot here!). After literally a few minutes - definitely 20 minutes - they smell pretty much identical in the air. No question about it. That said, you have to like this scent profile...🙃

I've had a bottle of oud for greatness and now I'm on my second bottle of oud for glory and have another on order I found oud for glory I can't bring myself to buy another oud for greatness the price difference is so huge but scent and quality of glory is up there I love this scent
I’ve brought my bottle out again now that it’s cold and I’ve rediscovered my love for it
Lattafa is very underrated house, you should explore some of their offering and you will be surprise what you can get for your money. The price/performance ration is amazing, its kind of like hidden secret in the frag community, you will get niche quality for very little money.

Waw came across your channel as im interested in middle eastern fragrances, and I have to say,this was one of the best reviews out there for this perfume reviewed by a woman/from a woman's point of view! Have you tried the LATTAFA BADEE AL OUD AMETHYST it's the same bottle as the oud for glory but in the purple. Apparently its great match of initios atomic rose, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts. Ps I thought you gave a great review on these two I love the oud for glory it's just so interesting scent that hits different every time I wear it and I love the fact that it's so different to what people in the west are used to when it comes to fragrance if you know what I mean 😂 sending peace and positive vibes 🙏

I have a question, would you say oud for glory is worth double what you paid for? I'm looking to buy it, but in my country i can only find it for 90 USD.
Hmm that’s a tough question because I feel like yea in terms of performance and scent but you have to like the scent itself and not have a lot of dupes for it. I really like it and enjoy Oud fragrances but if you don’t really like Oud or BR540 then maybe it’s not worth it?

I’d say they are so similar that neither is more feminine than the other but both are unisex
The big problem with Lattafa perfumes is that they're very hard to get, unlike other Middle Eastern perfumes in which they're widely available such as Rasasi, Armaf, Ajmal , Al haramain, etc...

This, and the whole Armaf Sillage / Milestone vs Creed SMW / MI debate is becoming quite frustrating. I really want to support the original house scents, but with clones being offered for almost 1/10th the price, and quality that matches or exceeds them, I'm really beginning to grudge spending a penny on the originals. More so in the case of the Creeds, as not only are they so much more expensive than clones that are almost identical, they're actually less effective, most certainly in longevity if not sillage and projection too. I have a sample of OFGr on its way to me now, so I may just order a bottle of OFGl as well. That (for me in the UK) £230 price difference cannot be ignored.
Yeah I know what you mean, I’ve only got two full size Creeds and one of them is a huge disappointment to the point where I can’t even wear it cause it’s gone off SO quickly. I’m 70/30 with supporting the original house and you gotta find what works for you!

Actually I bought one but the problem is this fragrance dont project and smell is very light you barely smell anything from it sometimes I think is I am going through with the nose fatigue but it's not so please think before purchasing it's just a rubber smell hehe

Yes if they love medicinal oud! I’ve heard extreme opinions on this, it’s love or hate
I have oud for greatness.. I got it for $212 usd. My rationale is to us is so strong only need 1-2x sprays.. so this will last me years! Given that I’d rather have the OG
One question I wasn't sure about-the BR540 essence of OFGreatness was very much present when I sampled it in a store. Is it also present in OFGlory? That was my favorite part of the fragrance-to me OFGreatness was like the mens version of BR540. I've been saving up for a bottle of OFGreatness but this video has me second guessing. Appreciate your insights
Yes it’s still apparent in both fragrances, no worries there! They are truly very similar in my experience.
Very correct description. They both smell the same, especially IN THE AIR.
People shouldn't forget that even if you wear the original, the fragrance smells different on different people and chances are the lavender on your skin might be 'muted', so your very expensive juice will smell exactly like the dupe.

It is sweet! Has the sugary sweetness of Baccarat Rouge to it with hints of saffron
The initio.....the lattafa....
Aside from the class-less move of stealing another’s creation not only in design but attempts to imitate the scent....
here’s the real deal... Initio has actual Agarwood and oil whereas the other would very much be a straight up synthetic at that price...
I think your review was very honest... I have a hard time with ‘lazy’ competitors...💞
