Thank you so much for showing me how to take those seat covers off! In all the builds I've seen, nobody has shown me how to do that. I really appreciate you giving us a complete guide of how you've done this so I can copy you. 💕👍👋
Deborah, you rock! What I love about you is you just jump in and do it!!! Most people can’t even start … searching for perfection. Great job my friend.😊🙌💪
You may want to reconsider those knobs, you will wish for something flush like the original holes you were using. You have done a great job with this project.
You and your friends did an awesome job on your floor 🎉🎉 but the pull knobs sticking up would drive me nuts😜 I thought the round finger hole worked well why not put it through the flooring as well or a notch on the edge 🤔 as long as your happy with it that's all that really matters❤️
Deb, you are a rockstar!! Your floor turned out amazing. I love how it all came together for you. Oh, I am excited to see your kitchen! Just freakin' beautiful! 🤩 Thanks for the mention on your channel ❤
WOW Deb! Excellent job! That floor is looking amazing! Love it! Just an idea, but you could put a small hook and loop on your side pillar to hold open the larger door. Just throwing ideas out there LOL Also you could do a leather loop handle on the door so that you don't hurt your feet on it when walking barefoot in there.
@@NorthofSomewhereNomad I know how that goes! It's hard to believe that just a few short weeks ago you were nervous about using a saw, and look at you go now! That floor looks so amazing!
Hello Deborah! Loving watching the progression of your build. Floor looks awesome! The knobs look great but I’m a big clutz so I’d be stubbing my piggy on it 🤣.
Wow Debra ingenious build with your storage flooring!! Looks great and love your access panels to the floor! Sorry for the bomb cyclone there on Vancouver Island and glad you had some assistance from your friends! You’re almost there girl so I bet you’ll celebrate and kick back just as you finish your kitchen and finishing touches! As always thanks for taking us along on your new van life journey!👍💕🍁🍂🚐⭐️⭐️⭐️
Some really good ideas here on your build. I like what you did with the front floor seat area. I think I will only store items that are off season there. I am going to just go with the factory covers and a nice rug to start out in my minivan. I may put in a solid floor with the trap doors later. I would stump my toes on those floor knobs for sure. Gotta be a way to do a grab on that is flush or below the floor.
What an amazing job you've done on your T&C! I'd love to see what the bed looks like all put together. I might consider doing this to mine if it didn't already have 199,800+ miles. 2014 T&C. Nice to see sunshine behind you at the end!😊
We assume you have been sleeping very comfortably on your bed platform. Your storage is awesome under your kitchen floor. Looking foward to seeing how this kitchen design works out. Stay warm !
Question 🙋🏻♀️ I’m noticing that a lot of these minivans are set up to come in from the right “passenger” side sliding door. I personally would prefer to enter right behind my driver’s seat, so that I don’t have to walk around to the other side. Especially traveling alone and at night sometimes. Anyway…am I missing the reason you are doing it the way others have too? I’m looking now to purchase a minivan like yours and I admire your dedication to your build! I have already gotten the DeWalt drills 👍🏼❤
Great attitude and job,Hi Debra I heard about the bomb weather all along the Northwest coastal areas from the state's and meandering through B.C. to Alaska. Thankful that your doing well with the build. Rome wasn't built n a day especially the floors . Good choice of floor color.Take care and many adventures to you stay safe
Hey Gina. If you don't simmer down, you won't be permitted on my channel. My use of untreated wood is clearly distressing to you, and your obsession with polyurethane is somewhat annoying by now. Perhaps leave, go find someone's channel that you enjoy. Understand?
@NorthofSomewhereNomad I'm not distressed, nor am I obsessed. It just flies in the face of logic to go to all of the expense of purchasing quality wood for a build and then not protecting it.
Hello from a fellow full-time minivan nomad in Alberta! Enjoying watching your process - I'm in a no-build Dodge Grand Caravan. Getting a feel for what I will want in the longer term, and will probably get serious about building it out in the Spring. Thanks for sharing your ideas!
@FrostyMcFrostface Hi. Welcome. Awesome that you're planning a build out - fun! Ya, spring is better for building in your parts - it gets crazy cold there. Thanks for following 😀
I was impressed with how you were getting by with the fiesta. The wife and I were so excited and happy to see you get the van. You’re doing a wonderful job with both the build and your channel. I’m suppose to receive a Bluetooth today and was wondering if you have posted or can post an update of the issue you had with your ecoflow? Hopefully by now it’s been resolved
I commend you for doing this build pretty much on your own and learning along the way! Started watching your channel when you got the van...I have the same year T&C, but have a no build build. I agree what a few others have mentioned about the knobs on the floor. Curious to see if you figure out something less obstructive. Good luck!
@NorthofSomewhereNomad Good! Do what makes you happy! 🤗 I'm still trying to figure out what works best for my no build. Think I'm on round 3 with redesigning! LOL
@@motleyrue I'm told it never stops 🙃 all the redos and adjustments. It's so much easier to rearrange things with a no build build, that's for sure. Enjoy the process.
@@NorthofSomewhereNomad I was thinking either go with the round finger pull like you had or perhaps a folded piece of leather like a loop and simply screwed to floor. It will sit fairly flat and not be painfull at 3 am when you accidentally step on it LOL Great job tho your doing amazing! loving your videos.!
Thank you so much for this amazing video! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
I used a durable deck stain that I had on hand to paint the floor in my van. Works great and if the floor ever gets too scuffed up, I can just paint it again. Instead of the knobs that stick up, wouldn’t some kind of a loop made of nylon or leather or something that would lay flat work better?
@tracyk-79 it has nothing to do with stubbing my toe. I don't walk around in my van... I shimmy, scoot, crawl, etc. It's literally impossible to stub anything on those handles.
