I recently tried cutting some key fobs I had embroidered on vinyl. I was able to get them scanned succesfully, created the outline for an edge. There were multiple layers (less than 3mm) of product held together by embroidery on inside and an outline stitch. it seems the blade pushed the vinyl in places so it bunched up. Suggestion for adhering layers together so they are still able to be sewn and cut???
Courtney I have the latest do model and I did have to go in and change pressure the auto blade ruined 2 mats I was hoping g when someone else asked you could teach us more about why with auto blade we had to change pressure??
I bought the vinyl auto blade and followed your instructions on how to add it to Canvas but the icon doesn’t show up with the patterns that come with it. I watched several other videos and went to the Brother support site and still don’t see it. I also made sure I am using the PC version.
Hi Courtney, after watching many videos on cutting different types of materials... I am not having any luck cuting leather. The leather is well under the 3mm size but it doesnt cut cleanly or cuts only certain areas of desin but not other parts of the design. I've used all the blades, all the mats and changed my blade too. I cannot seems to get it to work.. feeling very frustrated.. any other ideas??
HI Courtney - I've been watching many of your videos. I've just got a ScanNCut machine and would like to cut fabric. I'm wondering if I purchase the rotary blade kit, is the fabric auto blade (and holder) necessary?

The fabric blade works great on cotton, and is faster than the rotary blade. Barbara =)
Does My Connection only work with the SDX 325 for the Brother Stellaire?
Jean, yes! You might have to update your machine, but it is now compatible.
