@@angelortiz6902 The Glenn Miller orchestra from Germany-Netherlands led by Wil Salden is a far superior orchestra. Under Larry O;Brien and Ray McKinley's leadership, the Glenn Miller Orchestra USA sounded great!
@rmo52 You are right. Ray must be 96-98yrs old. He was an excellent trumpet player. Miller's band was the most musical band of its time, in my opinion.

They specialize in Glenn Miller original arrangements as well as other notable big bands. This orchestra could wipe out all 3 Glenn Miller" ghost bands" in less than 30 seconds. It is apart from Glenn Miller's original band, the greatest traditional big band ever. There are many videos of this band on You Tube. Listen and you will agree.
The Maestro needed to get out of the way and stay out of way. The balance of the sax section trombone section trumpet section and rhythm section was poor.
The somewhat unhelpful pratting about by the 'maestro' really detracted from the performance in my opinion. I get that because of the nature of a group like this, he doesn't need to be conducting or anything, but he's only distracting the audience AND confusing them with his intermittent clapping... Overall though, a great performance.

after my fancy: remain more at the original GM sound, too much improvisation
It's literally the same arrangement, there were improv solos in the GM version and they're in the same places here, even on the same instruments
