My Grandson will be going to college. We are buying him a computer but when he gets to campus I am going to make him a laundry basket filled with stuff.
You're an awesome Grandma.
I like to put those foil sheets around the pots n pans I use Over a Camp 🔥 Fire. Keeps all the Soot off of them
I was always told to coat the outside bottom of the pot or pan in liquid dish soap.
@@ericgeorgetruckgrilling yes me aswell.
Also heard if you are camping and the ground is damp, that the foil sheets help keep the spot dry when you start your fire.
Don't forget pets when stocking up.😊
Yes, Food. Water, Treats, Toys, extra Leashes n Collars, Meds and if Cats, Litter and if other than that kind if Pet, what they Need.. i
I'm sure you will....

Dollar General still has full size ( gallon) store brand bleach for $1. Same kind the Dollar Tree has. DT is half the size and 25 cents more.
Quick reminder about iodized salt, does not contain iodine. (Iodized to prevent caking) the package claimes to have iodine in it but does not contain enough in it to impact a health benefit. Be advised best for nutrients is Pink Hymilayan Salt. You may have to find a healthfood store that sells iodine seperately in small bottles with an eye dropper to drop a droplet into water or soup which is better than iodized salt.
Thank you for clarifying this.
I love DG for prepping. I use the app for product coupons and the $5 off $25 DG coupon on Saturdays. God bless.
Hi Jinnie, Dawn also works for dogs with fleas. If there isn’t a vet you may need to wash your dog for fleas. Another product that has multi uses.😁
I like the little bottles of detergent to keep by the lavatory for my husband when his hands are all greasy from working on cars.
I like to keep one of the smaller bottles of Dawn in the bathroom. It comes in handy when pretreating stains on hand washables, such as tee shirts.
Wonderful! 🎉🎉🎉 I had to drive over the Rockies to a Dr appointment today near the Denver area today. My ex drove me then took me to a Sam's Club. Where I live, on The Southern Ute Reservation the cheapest hamburger meat is $9 a lb right now... but at Sam's they had a bunch of discounted prime rib hamburger, chicken roasts.. you name it. I was able to get what would have cost about $1400 in meat where I live for $300! My Dad's freezer is empty so when home we will freezer wrap the steaks, roasts, hamburger and more then use the food saver. It was and is a blessing beyond belief . We only use a small about of meat in each meal, so w our pantries and emergency foods so packed already all we need to replenish is fresh cheese, milk , ect. Since I have a fractured spine reconstruction I'm having surgery to re fix soon, it's even more of a blessing!🙏🏻🐦🙏🏻🎉
I could barely keep my eyes from popping out when I saw how much you're paying for hamburger. Holy guacamole! I'm glad that you found some good prices at Sam's Club. I live in southern Wisconsin and our hamburger is usually $3.99/pound on sale. I only buy anything when it's on sale but then I stock up. Starting tomorrow one of my local grocery stores has it on sale for $3.49/pound. I wish that I could ship you some but I would be worried about it having food poisoning.
🙏🙏🙏
God bless you. Praying for you
Bless you
Great Dollar General haul! I love watching other people who are on the same page as myself. Thanks for all your great videos.
Great stock up haul ❤❤❤👍👍👍😊😊😊
Thank you!! Dollar general is cheaper than $ tree now with alot of items! 😊
Thanks! Dollar General has dehydrated type hash brown “Hungry Jack” in small cartons for a dollar…..great for longer term storage, they are difficult to get sometimes. I found #10 cans of Auguson Farms potato shredded potatoes for close to the same price per ounce last week😊
I buy augason farms shredded potatoes when they're on sale for $8 something. Love them!!!
@@crazygrandmaweaz8942 Agree:) last week I just paid around $8.14 per can…..😊
There was supposed to be a potato shortage last fall due to the areas that grew potatoes having very wet conditons and crop failures but we watched and it seemed to be off and on. Also Hungry Jack products are part of Betty Crocker, check the labels because all of Betty Crocker products now seem to say they all contain bioengineered ingredients. Same with Campbells soups and quite a few other major name brands.
My daughter's tent lost the little metal piece at the bottom of one of the poles and I used a hair tie in its place. I always keep a couple hair ties on me for various things.
DG also has Pepperoni and also the velveta packets. $1
I just went to dollar tree and spent $73 on stocking up for my daughter and my home.
IS ANYONE ELSE SEEING THE GLITCHES IN THE VIDEO? LOOKS A GLITCH IN THE MATRIX OR SOMETHING!!
Yes
Yes. I came here to see if anybody else was seeing all the glitches. I noticed it in at least one of her other videos as well.
Yes
Yes saw the glitches too. There have been solar flares lately that they said are affecting electronics so maybe that’s what is going on.
I thought it was my internet connection!
Thanks, Jinne. You got a lot for your money!
WOW you found some great deals at Dollar General I'm gonna have to stop by and check them out , THANK YOU JINNE
Jenny, keep an eye out at your Walmart. I hit the jackpot on Coffee and Kcups yesterday !
I posted a Short Video and on my Community Tab with the info and pictures. Lots of other clearance is going in other departments as well. Our 60 count eggs went down to $9.12 from $12.38 yesterday .
Thank you for your prepping pointers !
I always enjoy your videos. They are not pushy. Always very informative and helpful. Thank you so much 💕💕
Is the Clover Valley brand made here in the United States ? I know it's DG's brand. The Great Value can vegetables used to be made here...but now they are saying Thailand. Just wondering. ❤ Great video & yes we normally hit the $ area first before the DT especially w the quarter increase because it does add up. Enjoyed the video !! 🙋♀️
I prep lots of dawn. Good for dog bathing flea shampoo. In a bind can also use it for people shampoo. I have even done laundry in a pinch. Bug killers for garden.
I love the $1 shelves at DT. You can find some great items for stock up. Thank you for sharing.
There may come a time that we will have to be thankful for a middle of the road diet (or cheaper), versus a high dollar menu. Survival means just that SURVIVAL. It’s nice to buy what we like all the time, but we might not be able to all the time. And you’re right Jinni, often times store name brands are quite tasty and worth the savings.
I've started canning my beans. Since pintos take about 5-6 hours of cooking, it will conserve necessary fuel in SHTF by having them already canned up.
We only have a few Dollar General Stores here and they are in bad locations so not safe to shop there. But I always watch your videos and appreciate your tips. Everyone should keep reading labels, unfortunately what is being sold as more afforable (or 'tastes great') often has a lot of additives and no one needs anything that can make you sick if there is an emergency.
Some great ideas here!! Especially for beginner preppers!!
Hi I bought yardley washcloths at dollar general 18 washcloths big size for 1.00. They also have men’s washcloths too from TAG
Those Yardley clothes are great!
Thanks Jinne, like you said, not a big fan of Clover Valley but some of there stuff is great. I have to be really careful, I am allergic (anaphylactic shock) to processed foods, mostly the salts.
We read all labels now. Have a couple of family members who have to be gluten free. And lots of the cheaper foods say made with bioengineered ingredients. We don’t know how these altered foods can affect our health so we try to find simple non processed foods.
@@joycedagostino6074 Do a lot of my own cooking. Camping gets to be a problem with that but I am prepared.
@@joeyhardin1288 same here. We cook at home for the majority of the time. Eating out now is crazy expensive and we want to avoid unknown ingredients too. I garden and can our extra produce too.
I have yet to go to DG to look for dollar items. Maybe this weekend. You got some good deals!
Thanks for sharing your great Dollar General haul. I've noticed the last couple of times I've been in Wal-Mart that they are bringing some of their grocery prices down so YEAH!
Asian and Mexican seasoning packets (without MSG) are in my stockpile for canned meat, rice, and beans, along with cream of celery and chicken soups. Great choices on the rest, too,Jinne.
Hello have a good afternoon
That you so much for this video. I have a dollar general in my town, Dollar tree is an hour away
I’m amazed at how much you find at great prices and wish I could find it out west.
There are DG out west, too, and they all have the same or similar deals.
Thanks SO much for sharing. Looks like I NEED to start checking out $ General. Also Love your haul. My turn. Again Thanks 👍👍🙏 and then ❤❤❤
Great 30 item DG Haul, Jinne! I saw a few items I will be looking for at my DG next time I go. Love that you share different useful tips pertaining to some of the items. Thanks so much for sharing!
Sometimes we dock up the box macaroni with extra milk or cream or throwing some really good cheese and we don’t get up and it’s really good
You did really well! I like DG in a neighboring town, the one closest to us always looks dirty and like the day after the bomb dropped. Need to get to the ‘good’ DG as soon as we can! And by the way, your hair looks terrific!❤️🇺🇸
Hi Jinnie. Good buys today. I need to hit S General again. Thanks
Great Dollar general haul ❤❤❤👍👍👍😊😊😊
Got to go to DG....went to Aldis last Thursday found some deals
WOW ❗
I just started prepping at DG. I go on Saturdays for the 5 off 25!
I love dollar general 1$ isle always hit that up lol
Hi Jinne, this is a great haul and it just shows you that there are all sorts of options for a reasonable price. Thank you for this video.
We have a Dollar General right up the road that just opened so I think I'll tell hubby and try it out. Great video. thanks Jinne
That's a greal haul Jinne, a good mixture of items.👍
Don't know if you've seen these, Plasma Arc electric lighters. My Daughter just got me one, for lighting Candles, it's USB charged & really good. I had no idea what it was. Lol.
TFS HC, take care & keep really busy everyone. ❤🙂🐶
We moved a year ago and have 3 DGs close to us now, some stores get bought out real fast and others more in town get less traffic. My go tos for the DG are the generic clover valley spaghetti-os, spaghetti rings or whatever they call them at 95 cents and the clover valley rice (chicken, spanish and broc/cheddar), delish rice packages at $1. It was the campbells classic soup when it was still $1 but has since went up to $1.25. Still good soup, would sustain you well for a few days i'm sure, just hate the price jumped a whole quarter over night
Oh and the $1 whale crackers, those are a good buy as well =)
Great haul! I need to get to Dollar General!
I made a list of your $! items and went to 2 Dollar General stores within 10 miles and lots of things not like, or on your list, especially the Scott 4-roll TP. wish my $ general stores had your deals
I went today and picked up full size wash cloths similar to wet wipes.
Great stuff for prepping.
Great ideas
Can you do a video on how to make homemade pasta?
good haul
Good items, thanks for sharing YAH bless !
Thanks for the info. Where is the video on how to make your own soup?
If you put in Google something like homestead corner cream of soup it should come up. Take care.
Nice haul Jinnie 😊
Ty for the info
Bow tie pasta I hate auto correct.lol
Enjoyed!!
Not trying to be mean but the Scott toilet paper is 2.50 right now at Walgreens for a 12ok it's a better deal.
Thank you for sharing, it could help someone with a Walgreens close by... 💕🇺🇸
Good ideas. 🙂👍🥰
Hey Jenni! I bought a few Dollar General Brand (Clover Valley) foods. I found the Cream of Chicken Soup tasted AWFUL 😮. Also the CV Creamer was funky also. But other non- food Prepping items are usually a good buy.
Now we all have to read the labels on everything. Even things that you have bought before can now have ingredients swapped. A lot of companies got away with this saying there were supply chain issues or shortages and allowed to make subsitutions some which were never disclosed on the labels. Loads of things now say on the label in tiny print made with bioengineered ingredients. They seem to be loading the cheaper foods with the GMO's now too.
Thanks four a great video
If you have a popshelf near you they have cheap kids medicine like offbrand motrin, tylenol, allergy for 2 bucks and lots of 1 dollars meds
Just don't buy that toothpaste called Lucky comes with a toothbrush, it was awful, I threw the toothpaste away and kept the brush. LOL
We learned a lot of the toothpastes sold at Dollar Tree and Dollar General are ones that are discontinued because there were complaints or issues, so not worth taking the risk in stocking up on something that can cause a problem. If you are thinking about getting any, do an online search first to read the reviews. We had some problems about a year ago with Colgate because now they pack in a ton of additives like bleaches, detergents, artifical colors and more and these are just not needed, more for cosmetic appearances but many like us were getting sore gums.
@@joycedagostino8869 I learned my lesson, that stuff was bad.
Hello
Just wanted to tell you I had bootie pasta that I had in vacuum sealed in gallon jar and when I went to use some of it there was a million weavels in the jar so I'm confused. I thought store bought pasta wasn't supposed to get those bugs.what did I do wrong ?
Pasta should be frozen for at least 24 hours before storing to kill off all the eggs that may be in the package. 💕🇺🇸
Good haul
