Hi Patara. To make soap so further, I have saved my foam soap bottles that people gave my as Christmas gifts. Like the ones from Bath and Body Works. I buy a LARGE bottle of liquid hand soap to make foaming soap. Just put about an inch of liquid hand soap in the bottle and add water. Don't shake it to mix it, just turn the bottle a couple of time. Instant foaming hand soap for a fraction of the cost. I've had a large bottle of the liquid hand soap to last me two years doing this.

Cut your SOS type soap pads in halves or fourths, they're gonna rust anyway, so only use 1/4, and if it rusts, you only throw away a 1/4 instead of whole.

I had a Sam’s delivery not long ago. Saw a type of “heavy duty pots and pans” Dawn. So I ordered it. It reminds me of that CHEAP watery stuff I used to buy because I was newly married and couldn’t afford anything else. So,like you,I am going back to the cheaper stuff.

Cut them in half. You double the longevity of them and double your product. They also become a smaller size then to better handle and get into smaller spaces or corners when cleaning.

The sinus pain pills are great for dental pain as well, better than regular pain relievers.
And for anyone stocking up on lice products, be sure to pick up a metal flea comb, available in the pet sections of stores. Those plastic combs that come with the lice shampoo are flimsy and break easily. Also, in case of lice, have plastic contractor bags to wrap up and seal mattresses and non-washable pillows, tea tree or lavender oil to wash bedding with, a shower cap and large jar of cheap mayonnaise. After washing the hair with lice shampoo, coat scalp and hair thickly with mayonnaise, cover with shower cap and leave on as long as possible, at least overnight. Next morning, comb through hair with metal flea comb, then wash again with lice shampoo.
The mayonnaise helps smother adult lice and loosens the eggs attached to hair strands and scalp. Keep mattresses and non-washable bedding sealed up at least 2 weeks, to make sure all lice and eggs are smothered and no longer alive.

Post Hurricanes Laura and Delta, with no electricity and no stores for months, having preps was a blessing, but having wet wipes and dry shampoo was beyond anything I can begin to describe. As for lice, any oil will kill them, but making sure you get the eggs, ALL of them is a pain. But, tea tree is antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, and a disinfectant. It is so good for so many things.

Went to $ General earlier this week and stocked up from the $ section. The Dollar Tree sells the 50 ounce dish soap. Recently I asked an employee if it lathers up, she said yes, but she puts a splash of the Cloralen in the bottle and it works great. Tried it and she was right, so I’m stocking those 5o ounce bottles for $1.25. Going to try Family Dollar next to see if they have a $ section. ❤

All you have to do is contact them and send a picture if they break and it's replaced for free for life!!! Also, they hold up to more abuse, lol. I know this was about the dollar store, but all considered, they're cheaper in the long run.
