Hello everyone, on 1/30/24, I got some good deals at D G Xmas decor. On that day, items were $.10¢ ea. That's right ten cents! A day, or, a couple days earlier item were .$.25 ea., I missed the 25 cent sell and the best items, but still got some good deals. The best items were 6' flocked garlands WITH lights. Battery operated, sold at $12, but now, .10¢. I got ALL five of them. I actually went to three D G stores that day😊. Got great items at each one.
Hi Noni, I have a DG a few blocks from my home. I stop in a couple times a month and pick up candy and Crossword Puzzle Books & Soduku Books and odds & ends (socks hair clips etc) and take to Good Samaritan Assisted Living residents. Like you, I’m a DT loyal person, I pick up things for myself and for the residents often. They think I’m Santa all year long and I love doing it. Some are in their 90’s and have out lived their family. So many great things I find between both places. Wishing you a blessed day!
Use regular hand wash, put it in an older bottle that used foam, and the regular hand wash will come out as FOAM TOO! Amazing

...by the way, have any of you'll did a dumpster dive at DG, or any other store? On RUclips I've watched individuals dumpster dive at DG and Michael's Craft store. Boxes of items STILL sealed, NEVER opened, dumped in trash bins. DG also have a penny day sales. I don't drive, nor, own an automobile, OTHERWISE...I would try doing the dumpster dives.😊
Btw i am the wife, I watch you from time to time i I’m just in aw of you going to Dt and now DG and instacart walmart, your life is so simple, which is a good thing, no problems no chaos just going to DT etc. what a life

When you are being checked out watch the prices, no I won't pay $2.for the eye curly or pay $4 for deodorant D.T has the same deodorant for 1.25 that has the same function I do shop there also Apostle Dr Matthews 😀

If the deodorant was in the dollar section I would tell them that I found it there and they would have to give it to you for a dollar.

I love Dollar General. ❤️❤️❤️😁 I always find treasure in the $1.00 Zone aisle. Especially body wash, and bar soaps, and household cleaners, Laundry products, sprays, air fresheners and sponges. Use the $5.00 off $25.00 on Saturday's. LA color lipsticks are $1.00 too. I just picked up 2 lipglosses in nude & Pearl pink for the Spring and Summer to wear. Also found a creamy pink in the lipstick. They are smooth and nourishing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️😊

I get my Toilet paper (Angel soft 8 pack lavender scent for $5.95) and my Kleenex (the DG’s pack of 100 for 1.00)
I also get my Starbucks Frappuccinos 2 for $6 there. It’s the cheapest price out there 😊
Did you see the new spring collection? ❤❤❤ home decor, laundry room decor, signs. Bathroom stuff like shower curtains ❤ reminds me of the Floral garden bedding from JCPenneys catalog in the 80’s, 90’s and more!
Those 2 packages of choc. almonds and peanut clusters are my hubby's favorite. They are very good. When he found out Dollar General has them cheaper than $ tree...well ...he now shops at Dollar General for all his candy needs. lol

Next time you go to DG take your receipt, the deodorant might have rang up incorrectly. A similar thing happened to me and they graciously refunded the overcharge.
Yes, I would do that too, especially since there were so many in the dollar section.
I'm going to have to go to Dollar General and look for those juice drinks. It is almost impossible to find drinks at Dollar Tree that don't have sugar added.
I've recently started shopping DG utilizing their coupon deals, especially on Saturday where you get $5 off $25. Most of my purchasing is food and cleaning products, which is name brands.
Hello, I just wanted to let you know if you didn’t know that Dollar General, Family Dollar and dollar tree are own by the same company If you go to Family Dollar you’re going to find all the party goods for a dollar instead of Dollar Tree 1.25

I've always liked shopping at DG for cleaning supplies. Also, they have a lot of food items & snacks that DT doesn't have. Plus, some items are less than $1.25. Thanks for sharing!
I do the Saturday $5 off $25 coupon every week. It's extra good if they're having a sale.
The $1 cleaning products from DG are good, also Cold and flu products are a good buy.

You can actually find quite a few items for a dollar or even less, at DG, I do go there from time to time about as much maybe as DT, they are both close to my house, so not far to go and we also have another DG on the west side of town. Ty for sharing your (first DG haul?)

I have used the Crystal deodorant for years and love it. I think it is made from salt crystals. When you said it was $1, I got excited because I know I pay close to $5 at the drug store. But then you looked at the receipt and saw the mistake. They must have placed it on the wrong shelf. And I just purchased that scent. I do like it a lot.

We do not have a Dollar General here in San Diego, but the name brand Mucinex from Costco is fabulous. It works wonderful. So those 2 boxes for $2 is the same ingredients...great deal.

Dollar General is within walking distance to me so I 'm there all the time. I'm very happy with them. I have to take Coricidin, which is pricey everywhere.... Their housebrand is cheap, and WORKS better to then brand name !!

Where i live we only have the great Canadian dollar store and dollarama. The first one there isn't much for a dollar mostly five to twenty and dollar rama the dollar things are few and far between a lot from 4to5 dollars.
