@Sowneyy 7.62 every gun should be maintained but the AK can go along way without any maintenance. In the middle east its not even a thing to clean a gun.
An AK platform is possibly one of the greatest firearms ever produced; it's cheap, easy to manufacture, easy to maintain, easy to operate, and it does its job outstandingly well.
You forgot to mention that in full-auto mode, the auto-sear keeps the cocked hammer in place until the bolt carrier locks in completely, otherwise the hammer won't slam the firing pin hard enough.
I am a programmer. I always build things in steps. I look at these machines and think how could someone come up with this design. It had to of been done in steps right? Like step 1 fire the round. Step 2 find out how we can recover energy from that spent round. Step 3 use that energy to eject the casing and at the same time load a new round and reset the trigger. Seems simple once you see it work, but to design this seems very complicated and tedious.
awesome video. love stuff like this. would it be possible with different platforms? it's always fun to dig a deeper into the way shit works instead of just the basics
How an AK works: you pull the trigger, a spring loaded hammer hits the pin, it strikes the primer, boolet go boom, gas go back hehe, bolt pick up new boolet from mag, rinse and repeat. So simple you can build a crude version of an AK in your backyard (no guarantees that it wouldn't blow your face up). The most compliceated thing is inserting a mag if you never saw it being done which is very hard with movies and games nowdays

I can’t say that AK-47 is bad. It could have been as best as G3 or AR-15 if there was some additional spring for the AK which would let shoot as faster and with less recoil as G3 does. I wish AEK-971 or AK-107 could be as popular as AK-47.
@alexandrastanaev4399 I guess but 5.45 has no recoil very simular to 5.56 and if the AK isn't over-gased it the bolt doesn't feel bad at all, VZ still shoot 7.62s so def kicks harder than any 74
you can notice that during the unlocking, the bolt carrier goes back a little more than the bolt because the bolt is unlocking. this prevents the gun from firing without locking

No, this is a typical AK47 - look at the back of the receiver and buttstock, it's different from AKM. Go to google and find a picture of AKM, you will see that the buttstock and front handguard are different, usually made from laminated wood. The barrel and gas tube are a bit slimmer on AKM. The AKM also uses the slant muzzle attachment, has ribbed dust cover and different pistol grip. Also AKM has a stamped receiver bit this 3D model has a milled receiver. Also look at the vent holes on the front the gas tube and the recoil spring assembly, both are typical for AK47

Schmeisser was taken by the Russians to help with firearm development but from historical accounts it seems that he didn't work on the AK project. But on the other hand Russians definitely got a lot of inspiration for the AK from Stg44 or at least it seems like it if you compare the AK46 and Stg44 disassembled...
@@PolenarTactical --Please. Schmeisser was wholly responsible for the AK. He was kidnapped and forced to work for the Soviets. Also a rate reducer ensures the bolt is in battery each time.
The RR prevents the thin 1mm receiver from getting battered in FA mode.
You won't see the rate reducer on Norinco 1.5mm receivers or on milled ones.
I love how even the animation uses steel cased ammo

Download free steam game "World of guns". U can see it by yourself also assemble and disassemble AK and many another guns.

No because a krinkov still fires the same rate as a normal full sized 74

I'm curious why they used a type 2 AK. 🤔
Who stripped the field strip portion?
why do some aks have a 3rd pin and and auto sear?
What does the rod at the bottom do?
What is the part called that blocks the disconnector

Umm.. but what happend if i spraying the gun is it in semi-auto or is it auto? In cs go its work like that
İn short: spring pin and ammo. Pin firies ammo spring eject ammo and put new ammo
thats basically every semi auto gun from the 1930s to now
I wonder how this animation is legal in slovenia since it is fully automatic
the animation of bolt carrier is wrong!
спасибо
