Longer answer: as the patty sizzles against the hot burning rock above the fire makes the patty get more and more cooked thus making it not raw so it is safe for human consumption
Am I the only one who feels like everyone else in a apocalypse would be going to get all their stuff and run away but this guy would be like “Honey get my backpack we going to the woods.”

I didn’t realize this was a thing but me and my buddy’s were at the beach one day and made a fire then my buddy found a big rock that had split into slates. So we had the bright idea of going to get burgers buns and condiments from the store and god damn best burger ever super juicy. Now we call it “Beach burgies on the boulder barbie” lol
