      The emergency and location beacons magically stopped working and no witnesses heard or saw an explosion from its crash landing . I guess it was a mostly peaceful crash.

    The FAA has put alot of time and energy into mandatory remote identification and tracking for toy drones. They don't have time to require it of large weaponized aircraft .

    The F-35 suffered a catastrophic engine failure and crash in S Carolina in September of 2018.
    That grounded Australia's entire fleet of F-35's from Lockheed Martin.
    The remains of the broken fuselage were picked out of marshlands near Beaufort, S Carolina.

    Trial run. He did not eject, he was expelled. The F35 is designed to be able to do this in the event that a pilot is not willing to carry out a mission, then be controlled remotely by the powers that be. Why would a pilot refuse to carry out a mission? Think about it.

    Why would a pilot be such a hurry to bail and take time to put auto pilot on. What kind on emergency could there be that the pilot could not stay till he or she knew were the plane was going. The story is not out what happen. Why did not military flight control know where the plane was heading. They know how much fuel is in the plane. It record before launch. They know the mission and area of operation. Why was this plane flying by it self. There should be another.

    This has happened before the “Cornfield Bomber” in which a US Air Force Convair F-106 Delta Dart interceptor landed itself completely unmanned after the pilot ejected at approximately 15,000 feet. The incident took place on a cold February morning in 1970 in Montana and is still well-remembered in aviation circles today

    If it was in auto pilot how far can it fly on the fuel that was in the jet im sure they have the flight pattern so they could figure out the line it was on and look for it.

    That’s the point it’s made not to be found, and there’s no pilot in it ejected. Why did he eject if the plane can still fly?

    It was left in Stealth mode. As the Beacon was turned off.. So the thing could be 500 miles away. Depending on amount of fuel onboard at the time..

      @@intuitivefugitive8852 No.. I mean they have a beacon. It has to be activated before Civilian radar can detect them. The B-2 and F-22 have them as well..
      If this is left off during exercises. Good luck tracking one.

    I believe that my family and I saw that jet on Saturday, flying low between Darlington and Florence on our way to Bingo. My cousin is ex-military , he said that whoever was piloting the plane was going to get into trouble. It was scary.

      It's turned off when doing exercises. As they have an onboard beacon for tracking over civilian airspace. Same thing on the F-22 and B-2 Bomber.. If he ejected and did not activate it. It could be 500 miles away..
