Hydraulic Fracturing (CFDEM Simulation)

This animation shows a congested rock fracture as too much proppants (particles) are injected during the process of the hydraulic fracturing.
This simulation was conducted through the CFDEM code (coupled LIGGGHTS and OpenFOAM code).
